Sheila...PT dreamers...............my kids have a saying about me......its...............OH MY GOD, THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE MESSING WITH.................just had a run-in with Comcast (cable) last week...................I began nice, and then the woman pissed me off...................AS MY KIDS ALSO SAY......YOU DON'T WANT TO PISS OFF THE "DUCK"......................so she met her match................I told her my bill is never the same each month...............and who the hell do they have doing their "accounting"....Stevie Wonder.........................here the nit wit last month who told me he was lower my HD fee by $5.00...............charged me the original $9.95, and added another $5.00 to my bill.....................she corrected that, and then said "how many boxes do you have in your house for your TV's......................I said "1................she said........oh we have you down for 2......................I said ............well honey, I suggest you go back to where they charged me for 2, and give me a credit for each "m'istake, Stevie made"........................she gave me a credit for $25.00.......................i was so aggravated having to fight for what I should have gotten without a "fight"...........I said to her.........oh and by the way .......2 weeks ago we were without cable, internet, and phone for 12 hours....................I want a credit to my bill for that too..............she said "okay, that's not a problem".........................I said ................hmmmmm, how come I know it wouldn't be................................like the Devil says:...........Oh no, she's up........................................hugs to you all, and never give in, when you know your right, don't let anyone tell you otherwise...........................
-
You are so quick witted, I wish I were like you. I had to write a letter to dumb ass Comcast, my bill was not the same every month. I got a call from a rep almost 2 years ago, I told him I would sign up for the triple play thingy that was going on for 99.00 a months for 2 years instead of one and he said he could do it, well when the tech came his paper work said 114.00 per month, every time I called to bitch at them the bill would be credited for 15.00 for a few months then the next bill would be for the 114.00. I finally wrote a letter of complaint to the MA Department of Telecommunications and Cable Consumer Division. within a few days I got a call and now every month the bill is correct. It only took them a year
-
Good for you Deb..............but in the end, you won, right...................the squeaky wheel does get the oil.................when your right, your right.....................hugs
-
My cable bill is the same every month - too high!
I needed you Ducky last year when I was fighting Cigna about how much I had been charged for PT the year before... They charged me a lot more for it than I had been charged in the past and wouldn't tell me why. Needless to say- I am not having PT after this ankle surgery. Shame too because PT is awesome. Hoping the exercise I'm doing will get it back into working order. Slow going though.

2:15 am...no sleep
DD called from Hawaii.....We were talking...i just said one thing maybe I shouldn't have to
But i meant too.....Of course it was related to POC....what i said wasn't anything bad or an attack ........I was gonna call her back and say sorry....but I didn't because I meant what I said.....we talked some more.....now it's bothering me why I requested something from her that i should kept my mouth shot.
OOOH God help me......I'm looking forward to my DD's wedding...but also wishing it was already finished. My heart is skipping beats again...i'm a nervous wreck.
Maybe I should start yoga....I can get Elderly discount and it's only 2 blocks away.
-
You had a bad day yesterday, Sheila. I hope today is better.
-
(((((((((Sheila))))))))) It's good that she knows how you feel - that you are having difficulty - so if there is anything she can do to make the situation easier for you, she can do it.
I think yoga is a great idea -

My son came over, painted my new shed doors, cleaned out the gutters on the roof, and the we had lunch................he is such a huge help to me..don't know what I would do without him...last week he hung a new storm door and took care of a few other things...........he does truely care, and I so appreciate it................not having a man do do "man things" is tough...............
Hope you all have a good weekend, and Gran, and Annette, keep us informed......hugs and prayers.

9:37 p.m. at Tumble Creek - rainy, foggy, and 37 degrees. At the moment, there are three female elk just about 15 feet away from the back of the cabin. There will be some major piles of poop tomorrow. Ok, don't get grossed out, but still trying to figure out why such a giant animal has such tiny little poop/pellets.
Is anyone celebrating Cinquo de Mayo? I don't ever remember doing so on the east coast, but it is a big deal here.
My mouth feels like it did during chemo - several mouth sore/canker things. Not sure why but think I will create some magic mouthwash tomorrow. It's alway something~!
-
We are heading to a party today, but it really isn't for Cinco De Mayo. Actually I wish we could be there tonight as well, as it gets really noisy with Mariachi music around here on May 5th. A church about 3 blocks away always puts on a party and it is LOUD!!!
-
Oh, ruminants (Cud chewers) such as elk are very efficient in their use of food. They browse and eat a variety of foods rather than grass only. It is drier and compacts into those little poopie balls.
-
I've been dealing with mouthsores with my son, for weeks. Dr finally put him on prednisone and they w ent away. She said they are going around, along with cocsaxie virus (hand foot mouth disease). Hope they are just simple mouth sores.
-
Mouth sores are no fun.........
Waiting the sun to come out if it ever does......
I love Cinco de Mayo celebrations and the loud music...my neighboors next door used to have parties....this year i dont see anything yet....hoping they will have one later........
♥
-

She is graduating the end of the month.....Internship will be done shortly too. She needs a break
