I still think the bruised ass Christmas card would be funny...
Your stories make me LOL.
Have a great full day tomorrow, Deb!
Good night. ((((((((TOL)))))))))

I know I would enjoy the bruised ass Christmas Card. I can honestly say I haven't gotten that one yet!
Good Morning!
-
I like this one:

-
LOL!! That would be my family!

Hey ladies......................I agree, I tell my "very grown" sons, and my very "tech savy" grandchildren.........................."get the hell off your friggin phone, and stop texting".........."I have seen enough of the top of your head, and its ignorant"...............................I actually wish they had never invented "cell phone"...........................nothing angers me more, then when I'm with someone and they are constantly texting.................I have actually pulled the phone out of the hands of my grandson, when he was driving, and said "ok, your done..............watch the hell where your going...............and would not give it back till we got home. One time I texted back to the person he was on with and said ........."NICHOLAS IS DRIVING AND EVEN THOUGH I"M 76, I"M NOT READY TO DIE"..........."HAVE A GOOD DAY"., AND BY THE WAY, THIS IS NICHOLAS'S GRANDMOTHER.......................I found out later that it was his "college football coach"..........................The coach told the story to the entire football team.
-
Chris, is that real?
-
Makratz...............................It sure could be.......................like I said "that is the way we see so many people today. What could be more appropriate then a picture of the tops of their heads.................It is just so rude................sometimes it is very necessary, but 99% of the time it isn't..................It really ticks me off............................Hey, what is worse then some idiot in the supermarket running into you with their cart, cause their on the phone asking someone on the phone........................"now what brand did you say you wanted"...............and if its a man, your really in trouble.......................they cannot multi-task..............drive a shopping cart, and talk on the phone...............never happen.....someone is going to get run over...................................oh Lord, don't get me started....................
-
I can't tell you how many times I'm behind someone driving weird - too slow or too close to the line - and when I get to pass them, I find they are on the phone. Surprise! And that's just talking - never mind texting! I don 'tknow how people text and drive.
I don't think that card is real - my friend shared it on FB.
-
Love the card. My sons are always texting, especially my 16 year old. Drives me CRAZY!! It is rude!!
-
I was thinking what would they do if you give them a rotary dial phone lol.
Hi from warm and rainy NY
I never texted

-
Ducky called the repair guy, 70.00 to come and look at it....don't think it is worth it, we will see...too funny!
Thanks for the reminder Shiela, I needed that
My kids are always on the ipods and phones....they are so addictive as is facebook and words with friends...
Chris... take care of yourself!!
-
Blondie, really................now my washer was fairly new, but out of warranty...........my daughters was older, and she had the work done.....................not sure how much he charged to come, but she knew at the time she was going to get it fixed regardless...........she did not want to buy another washer.............well he did fix it, she was extremely happy with him, and the washer has been running great ever since. That was 2 years ago.............its a Maytag, and she doesn't want to part with it.
It is a crap shoot............if you get it fixed..they knock the $70.00 off the bill, but if you decide not too, then you have spent money, and still have to get another washer.................I know where your coming from, but I always say "your damned if you do, and your damned if you don't.........................I guess it all depends if you want to spend money on a "new washer".............If its just the water not draining, it is possible it is the "pump"...........not a huge fix, but still a fix just the same...................good luck whatever you decide.

Ducky - I do enjoy your postings. Your comments on cell phones, texting, etc. were on the spot, exactly what I would have liked to say but articulated better than I ever could!
-
I think Sheila has found her inner child.
-
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa

Thank You.
-
You are welcome!
-

time for dinner.........
-
Just got back from soccer. I love watching my son play.
Love your dancing SHeila.
My 13 y.o. came to me this morning and told me he had a breast tumor. Then he took his shirt off and I felt a lump under his nipple. Apparently it is common for boys to get breast lumps during puberty. That better be all it is! Off to doctors tomorrow.
-
I'm back. I feel very hot (because of the warm weather and the windows are closed)

Linda....you let us know what the DR says. Hugs
Deb's Bermuda pictures are so pretty.
I'm ready to go away.......
-
Linda how is he? Let us know what happens.
Seyla, where r u going, I wanta go...
Deb love the pix....
Chris where ru ?
Ducky.....dont' know if they knock anything off, spoke to his wife.....told him to call me...don't know what kind it is, always buy my appliances at Sears. My daughter tells him that somebody at work (who is the queen of everything) has had hers 35 years and when it breaks just keeps getting it fixed....Think I will google what it is going on and see what it says...
-
Blondie..........what I meant by take something off was.......if he tells you what is wrong, and you decide to let him fix it...........the fee to come to the house is waved...............now if you go with something new, of course all bets are off the table.
If he doesn't work on it, the fee will be whatever he told you, just for his information.,

Hello ladies! Here in CA it is illegal to use your cell phone to text while driving. It is also illegal to talk on the cell phone without a hands free device. That means an earpiece with a microphone, you still can't use the speaker phone. People still do though. They run "stings" every once in awhile where the crack down on hand-phone users, but you are right, when you see someone driving erratically, they often have their cell phone in hand.
When we get together with my kids and their GFs to play card or dominoes, they have their cells out and get calls and texts all the time. Drives me nuts. Now the biggest offener is DH who sits there with two cells on the table in front of him!
-
It's illegal in MA too. As it should be!
-
Some of the biggest offenders can be peace officers.
Last weekend an officer running at high speed in the dark without his siren-lights on mowed down two people locally. They are investigating if he was "distracted" since he says he was going on a call. What sort of call????
-
OMG thats horrible! I laugh every time I see a cop doing a traffic detail and they are on the phone. Really???
-
Every morning when I go to work and many evenings when I get off work at my normal time, I am passed by a Probation officer in his official car. (One that states he has a canine companion within.) He goes at least 20+ mph over the posted traffic signs. There are no emergency calls for probation officers arethere? Every morning at 7:10? He weaves through traffic at high speeds...and gets away with it!
-
So not right!
-
I think if he was tickets once or twice he might change his pattern.
