Thinking Out Loud.....

I'm back. I volunteered at the Food pantry today. The school kids did a food drive and brought in a TON of food! Awesome!
I have tons of hip pain today. I think I am getting hip pain from my walking. I walk about 5-8 miles a day and have noticed recently that the longer I walk, the more oain I have. DH is worried, I'm sure he's thinking mets, but I think it's just from walking. I have a drs appt on Monday and will mention it to her.
Nice day in MA.
-
Good for you Linda. 5-8 miles is a long walk.
I will be hurting too.
So whats new?
Im fed and showered. Dont you find this exciting !!!!!!!
-
Very exciting.
DH is on my eliptical, he must seriously want to lose weight. He had chest pains last weekend and had a stress test this week. He needs to eat better and the wieight will come off. He does not like fish or AG. Can you imagine that? We are complete opposites, yet perfectly suited for each other.
Tomorrow is my neighbors wake. I am so sad about this. It's going to be a tough couple of days.
-
Makraz - sorry you have lost a neighbor, it is a terrible time of year to be losing people, not that any time is good.
I also went for a pretty decent walk today, got my hair trimmed, groceries done, and a christmas gift off to budapest.
My DIL came over and ran around with me, maybe she is starting to like me
-
There's always hope RCG, I LOVE my mother in law!
My neighbor was only 26. So sad.
-
Im so sorry Linda.
-
RCG....When are you meeting with your personal trainer again
I just took my garbage and in the afternoon moved boxes from higher shelves.
-
Never tried Mussels.
-
Never tried Salmon either.
-
Thanks Deb.
I love mussels and salmon. Eat them all the time!
-
I have a friend she thinks I'm overeating the salmon and i will be poisoned by the mercury.
Deb its because you never had the chance or you dont like the color?
-
Never had the chance. Maybe some day I will try it in a resturant.
-
I asked my dr. about eating so much fish and she told me I would have to eat tons of it to be poisoned by it. Eat away!
-
I am. i really want some shell fish everything mixed with garlic and fresh parsley
-
Yum! Or fresh basil!
-
Tomorrow at 1:30 so not quite a nooner
Sorry to hear she was so young Linda - that is just awful.
Thanks for reminder Sehila - I need to go put the cans out...
We ate naughty tonight - I made pulled pork with cole slaw sandwiches....
-
pulled pork....is that the one its all shredded meat and so yummy?
RCG. The first line of your post i dont get it. Were you talking to yourself/ hahahaha
-
OMG Im loosing it. I went back to the last page. you were answering my question.
-
I need a bib i will be eating pomegranate
-
We are having pomegranate too - except I cheated and bought the arels in a giant tub at costco.
And yes, pulled pork is super yummy. I put it in the crockpot with root beer all day, took it out, shredded it, and threw it back in with a bottle of bbq sauce. Awesome.
Oh and the nooner does refer to your question about the trainer - hugely inappropriate, I know. Whatever!
-
I learned a new word nooner. I googled it.
-
Sheila, I hope you haven't lived your life without a nooner
-
Am I early/ Are you all sleeping or got busy already?
-
It;s just past 7:30 here - getting the fam off takes a bit of time. Off to toast some bagels.
-
You guys make me laugh. Nooner!! RCG, sometimes theres a little bit of a language barrier with Sheila. Nooner would be on of them.
Off to my nooner....lol!
-
God Bless google. I even saw pictures.
I dont recall any nooner experiences.
I had a eveninger experience................
-
Sheila - HAHAHA! An eveninger
Sorry didn't mean to throw you with that term.
Makraz - do you mean you are going for a workout or the original, better type of nooner
I haven't had a manicure in months and understood that during chemo I shouldn't risk anything but I am told as long as I bring my own tools, and go someplace of quality, I am good. Off to a maniucure I go,
-
RCG..I always ask when i don't know the word.
