I think I can smell it here too. Have the fedx guy stop by here too.
I broil my salmon, plain and boring.
-
Oh yea, they are skating indoors tonight. But we have an awesome outdoor rink at Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play. They like to skate there too.
-
Linda...Are you still chilling?
Oh the pie just arrived.
-
Send it this way!!

Lets make a deal if we are gonna discuss goodies lets do it before it gets dark so I can run out and get some.
Now I'll be obsessed with pecan pie and chocolate

Sorry ladies - I was out this evening at the engagement party of a somewhat younger friend. I had such a great time, I felt normal. I laughed and had a real glass of wine, a great dinner and awesome desserts.
That picture looks like my pie - it was amazing and the first thing gone. It was another very easy recipe that I will repeat. Sheila, you got yours, but Linda's got delivered incorrectly.
Something that was kind of funny was that another friend showed up with key lime pie, MY recipe that I shared with her and never said a word. My H tasted it and said, this is very similar to one my wife makes
He was totally innocent but she looked unhappy.
Ok, I am off to bed....pooped!

Meet The Fockers
Funny! Funny! Funny!
-
I was gonna go to CVS but after seeing their weekly circular...
Change of mind, too many chocolate related goodies on sale. S#*T.
How is everybody. at 1 I'm turning this thing off to engage some walking that I desperately need.
Peace
♥

Are you watching that movie? It is very funny.
We are working outside and them watching the Patroits. My neighbor, Jackie the 4 year old, is being interviewed by Dana Farber and it will be on at half time.
I went out this morning and bought a new washer and dishwasher. Mine are sooooooo old and they don't work well. My dad came over and told me to go buy them and send him the bill. I am sworn to secrecy and cannot tell me siblings. Works for me!
-
It is a football and fire today here for sure - very cold, light snow with more to come. Very early for Seattle.
When we moved last year we got a new washer/dryer and there were no kitchen appliances. I am so surprised by how much longer these high efficiency appliances take. A quick wash that would have been 22 minutes on my old front loader is now more like 45. The dishwasher now takes 115 minutes. Not sure how this is more efficient
Congrats though, I know how nice it is to have new ones.
-
I have heard the same thing. I did get a high effeciency washer but it's a top load and it has a soak function. Most don't from what I understand. I have a well so the water issue isn't a big deal. I don't think my dishwasher is HE but am not sure. I'll find out soon enough.
-
Linda your secret is safe with us.
Enjoy
i love soak function. Since they put new W & D couple years back they are front loaders once the door is locked thats it.
Im DVRing the game so i can watch the half time later just to see the little Jackie.
RCG..Do you like the cold and the snow?
Its soup time again
So far East Coast is acting politely.
Where is Deb? chris, Meece!!!!!!!! Where are youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!
Why everybody is disappearing from the thread?
-
I have never used soak function - when does one use that? I can actually pause and open my front load but don't do so often.
On a Sunday, I love the cold and snow. We can hang out and be relaxed. I am not afraid to drive but afraid of the others who are not afraid to drive because they are from here.
-
Clorox wash. Soak it and forget it for 15 or more minutes.
RCG.. How do you open a front loader during wash/ Where the water go?
-
You use the soak function when your kids clothes are so stained they need to soak. AHhhhh, boys!!
I am curious to see if we will see Jackie. Her dad told me he doesn't think we will, that you would have to be at the game. The televised half time show is interviews. Who knows, I will watch and see what happens.
-
Sheila - the front loader uses so little water that if i pause to add something, it is just low enough not to come out the door....it sits in the base of the drum.
-
That's why I got a top loader. I think my boys would do some science experiments with a front loader.
-
I am so fed up with that new TSA Thread. I would like to post and ask how to get to Hawaii by bus or train and boycott the flying.
Okay then I shouldnt be reading it yes? YEA I just answered my own question LOL
-
You could take a boat!
The TSA needs to be trained on how to treat people with 'special needs' like foobs. I'm sure there are other people in the world, besides BC survivors, that set the alarms off. I was so nervous when I traveled that I would set them off from having 12 metal clips in me. I didn't, thank God. -
Boat from NY. Maybe I can hide in the boiler room.
Its expensive.
As long as they treat me with respect I dont have any problem with it.
Again when I went last time it was just a metal detector.
I let you know next May.
I prefer the Xray Machine than the pat down with that dirty latex gloves.
