Beautiful day here too. DOing yardwork and then soccer at 2.

After getting up at 9 and a few yard sales I went and had my blood work. Nice pretty dark red blood. I called them when I got up to make sure they were open and she said to come around 11 because there is a long wait. I got there around noon and was in and out real fast. Four day work week next week, I have to take some vacation time or I will loose it.
Thanks for thinking of me, luv ya all♥

Hi Deb....so you see the DR next week?
Please try not to loose it. We can start Slapping treatments if it helps you.

Diane is back! The bridesmaid dress debacle for my daughter took FOREVER. My daughter is a size 4 petite and the other bridesmaids are size 14 or so and so it was very difficult to find something suitable for all. My H came along with us because we thought it would be 45 min, but it ended up being several HOURS.
Even so, we had a nice day which just included some dark chocolate caramels with sea salt - sometimes he is a perfect husband. Sheila - you better dig in and catch up with me tonight on the candy.
Deb - hope you get perfect results and quickly.
So here is my big news that has been brewing for a bit. On Monday evening, I am being filmed for an online piece about the experience of breast cancer. The rest of today was spent in discussion with the producers about my thoughts, feelings, and experiences. That is all they care about and all I could think was that I need a haircut, my chin hairs are out of control never mind my mustache, how much weight can I lose by Monday (none with chocolates), what will I wear, and is there anything I can do with makeup to make me look BETTER. We met this man at our favorite little Italian bistro down the street - the bartender knew my situation and recommended the producer speak with me. He has done so several times in the last four months and I never knew why or that he had any reason other than being interested in us and my situation as a regular old human. The other night, he got in touch and told us that he felt I had a great story to tell and that he loved the way I tell it and would I be willing.....". I guess so, but I am nervous with a capital N.
-
Yes, TM markers test, did that this morning.
-
Another spring day.
RCG....Thats a wonderful news. Are we gonna able to see it at East Coast.
Dont worry about your weight. During treatment we legally entitled to gain weight because I said so
Do you still have any leftovers from last night.
I will spend my day outdoors.
I hope everybody's having a nice day.
Its my oatmeal time........
Hugs to everyone of you.♥
-
Sheila,
After I got BC, my DH promised to make something sweet happen every day - which means there is always a dark chocolate caramel with sea salt in the house - so yes, I still have some but I am not allowed to know where they are kept.
Sheila - my weight didn't just come from treatment but I sure wish I could tell pepple that and have it be credible. I am also about to enjoy my morning bowl of oatmeal with fruit and nuts.
As for the online piece....think about that statement
Hugs!
-
Congrats RCG!!! I hope i get to see it too! I say we all have chocolate for dinner!
-
Going to be crazy and go to Costco on a Sunday afternoon.....but we have a major trade show this week so it is the only time we can squeeze it in. I love Costco but Sunday is major crowds and germ day and I am used to going at the off times. There is no room in my car for "stuff" so we have to go in the truck.
-
linda...We can have dinner and chocolate
I have a bar waiting for me.
Last night was GF tonite is creamy chocolate.
i took a nice walk.
RCG...Yes I agree you must be crazy going there Sunday.
I dont go that often. I need to get my extra virgin olive oil and a roasted chicken.
I love the time when they start giving food samples. I actually had a meal one day LOL
-
Cooking up a Lazagna with GGAAAAALIC bread.
-
YUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pot roast and veggies here! -
Ok, we made it out alive..phewww!
Falafel and pita here with a cucumber salad and some melon....or, hmm....now I want lasagne. Nope, better stick with original but only so I can unclog.
We also went for a nice walk today in old town section of our city. I have been looking for a lamp of the right size for one little spot in our family room, not urgent, so never really looked hard. Well, there it was in an"previously loved" store. Back tomorrow for sure.
I don't know if you ladies watch Desperate Housewives or Brothers and Sisters?
-
I love Desperate Housewives but don't get to watch it as much as I's like. Kids.....
