No I meant a local organization or something.
I wont go to Craig list or anything similar like that.
-

Soccer is at 6 so I have to get my but moving!
-
No wonder you look so great! Have fun at soccer, I don't miss it
-
a little secret, everytime I work all day, go to friendly for lunch/dinner, kids meal!!! $5.69 or 6.99...just enough food for me, get the ice cream and then put it in the freezer and eat it at break!!!

DD's flight finally landed at JFK>
-
Woohoo Sheila - you must be very happy....
-
Relieved.
-
Yea Sheila.....
-
I'm watching CMA Awards.
I love Carrie Underwood.
She was my AI at 2005 . She always reminds me in a good way how many times I voted for her on May 2005 right after my second Lumpectomy.
Im grateful being able to listen to her 5 years later.
-
-
I like her alot too.
Glad DD has landed safely. My DH is home now too. YAY!
My son scored a goal in soccer, but they lost 2-1. I like going to the soccer games, baseball too.
Great idea, Sandy!
-
beautiful girl, beautiful voice.
Always fun to see them score - but after 21 years of soccer in the pouring rain, I got plumb wore out ....
-
I'm sure when I hit the 20 year mark, I will be sick of it too.
-
Im really worried about Foots
-
Sheila,
What/Who is or are Foots?
Diane
-
Can I address to you with your real name?
Footprintsangel is a very special member of these Boards.
She is on prayer threads.
We all love her. She is very special .
foots I hope you are okay.
-
Yes, of course, I began doing so when I noted your name at the bottom.
Good wishes for foots, a new sister.
When doesy our daughter arrive? Is it a long trip from JFK to you?
-
Diane....No its not far only about 40 minutes away.
She already stopped by and picked up her car.
Now she needs to adjust herself to the new time.
I live very close to NY City
-
Oh she lives there - I though she was coming from away to visit her mom
I have a son (Matt) who is 30 and married, a daughter (Casey) who is 27 and lives in apt over our garage, and a young woman (Elina) who came to live with us from Latvia 16 years ago who is 32 and married with a baby girl and living in Budapest (her husband works for the State Dept). I was to go to Budapest in August to see them and her little Emily who is already a year old and I haven't held her. My son and wife moved to Seattle from SF just two weeks before my diagnosis. My daughter has some disabilities and is truly the most delightful young woman you could ever meet. She doesn;t drive but she got a great PT job at Microsoft, so we are very, very lucky.
Probably more than any of you wanted to know but if you are going to know me, well my adult babies are my world, right after the hubs.
-
Diane...I have 2 daughters.
The one who lives here is only 10 minutes away (walking) She is 33.
My younger one who turned 30 in August is in Honolulu and engaged. They moved there January of 2009. They love it. What is it not to like.
I miss her.
-
I know exactly how that feels - my son went to college in Maine at 18 and then moved to SF - it was a long time to not have him around. I only get to see Elina about every 1.5 years. Once I am done with rads, I will reschedule to go see her though we don't know where they will be assigned next summer.
-
Im little confused is Elina your adopted daughter or just a good friend.
-
we did not adopt her but she came to us at about 14 in need of a home..her parents are alive in latvia..
-
that was a nice think to do.
so we were pregnant the same year if your son is also 30. Right?
I came to US at age 20 from Turkey.
-
1980?
-
yes 1980 her birthday is in August.
-
My kids are both aug - 16th, 1980 and 15th, 1983
-
Mine is August 27 but my due date was the 16th.
-
Thanks for the company.
Good Night
-
See you later.
