at a restaurant my dh and I had heard about. We went there and didn't know it was so expensive. So, we decided why not and just go with it! We ordered an appetizer, beer, steak and dessert! It was a fun surprise date.

The first real trip I took with another person (not with parents) was...

to the Bahama's with my best girlfriend...it was a 4/5 day trip and we're babes in Wonderland. First plane ride - what a treat!
The most famous person I ever met was............(I met Peter Falk on a street in Chicago while gazing into a bookstore window - he even had on a rumpled raincoat - still didn't initially recognize him but knew that I "knew" him, just couldn't place from where until he finally asked if I had ever watched Columbo....DUH)

Mel Streep at a cozy little restaurant in Maine. I was sitting alone in a table upstairs with my mom and dad and she came up with what appeared to be several in her family. Totally did a double-triple take ... and it was her!
