I used both.

-
When I called they asked for my real name...my BCO name and city and state.
Everyone here is absolutely amazing...what a wonderful show of support and love.
-
just called and ordered my rose. and yes i don't know how she could understand my cc # thru the tears. she said well over 125 roses now. deb will be smiling.
-
i just had them put from "Debbie from Ohio" on mine.........
-
I just had them put from your southern DebC from Ohio, faithandfifty
I too lost it when she asked how to sign the card.
-
What a wonderful response! Before I was aware of the flowers, I had made a donation to local group that provides ipods/mp3 players to those in treatment (power of music and all) in memory of Deb and others that have recently died.
I wonder what other things we could accomplish if we put our thoughts and efforts together.
THIS is the true power of Pink.
Prayers of good helath to all tonight

EWB ~
I think if more of us practiced paying it forward we could probably change the world!

That is so true.

I called my order in at 11:30 CT. I just had them sign it YellowRose and family. Poor Tammy had difficulty understanding the YellowRose, my drawl was coming out as yellarose and I finally had to tell her "like Yellow Rose of Texas". Deb would have laughed, I think.
-
When I called I asked if I could put my real name and my nickname and they said most people are putting their bc.org name, so I just had them sign me MissShapen. Of course, they have to have our real names for the cc. I'm sure however they end up doing it will be a beautiful tribute to show how much Deb was loved here.
So, so very sad,
Miss S

Your choice Jersey.

Once again I came in at the bottom of the last page. Sheesh, when will I ever learn to check?
-
Oh great........thanks, now dh is humming the Yellow Rose of Texas tune. And I'm from Canada.!!!!!!!!
-
S'okay Sharon.........I think all is accepted today in fact...good and bad.......
Just a quick thought, but when I was searching for an obit in her town, I found this short one Seeing as there were no responses posted, I did do one...seemed needed. IF anyone else is interested, its on this page: http://www.peninsulaclarion.com/stories/012809/obi_282802559.shtml#mdw-comments

He'll be humming it for days now............there he goes again.........

I have no doubt the wonderful ladies in the shop are overwhelmed with the outpouring of love for Deb. Poor Mona had trouble with my screen name, because I say 'z' 'zed' instead of 'zee'. I also forgot to pass along her heartfelt message to all here "hang in there ladies".
I've belonged to several message boards over the last 10 years, and I have to tell you I've never seen such an awesome tribute. Thank you ladies, for restoring my faith in humanity.

Sorry Sharon about your dh humming but hey, if a song's gonna be hummed, at least it's a peppy one!
-
It is so awesome that so many here have sent a rose. I just know her dh AND HER KIDS will never forget how much she was thought of. I really think this will help them SO MUCH with the grieving process. I truly believe we have helped deb's family... they will smile and find comfort knowing that so many of us loved their beloved deb. Her kids will forever "brag" about how many friends their mom had. That's a beautiful thing!
-
LOL, that it is Yellowrose........and now it's in my head. I'll likely Utube it.
-
Laura, I too, keep trying to picture Jon and the girls reactions to a sea of pink roses. I tear up knowing that they will truly see the impact that Deb has made in so many lives during her time on this earth. I pray that this will assist as they grieve this special woman.
-
I just ordered for someone and Mona said she'd guess around 150 roses have been ordered. This is just wonderful you guys.
-
I just ordered, too ~ one more from Georgia. I hope this helps her family see just how many lives she has touched.
-
Just talked to Tammy, ordering roses for me and SloneDeb. I was having to repeat; southern accent, you know? I said, "We all come up there; y'all don't come down here!" Tammy quipped, "No reason to!"
She did then say she'd visited Gatlinburg, TN last summer and does want to get an RV and tour the country. We discussed the beauty of the Smoky Mountains!
Tammy told me she'd graduated with Deb, and that she had no idea of Deb's problems~~~she went around with a smile on her face.

-
I just placed my order...tearfully. She brought a lot of spunk and laughter to these bds. She will be missed.
-
It's going to be one heck of a bouquet!
-
Another rose from me. (Thanks Traci for your note below -- I posted a picture of a rose and it showed up at first, but no longer.)
-
Girls, I am just blown away with how many girls are buying a rose.
I can't even begin to imagine how beautiful it's going to be. Don't forget (I know...lol..we'll have to keep that thread active for us to remember!!!) to participate in the email to Obama too on the special tribute to Deb thread!!!! (I would say who started it, but I forgot!)

Hugs to everybody,
Traci
P.S.: Ann...it may just be my shitty laptop but all I see is a red x.

1 rose ordered from California

-
Ordering one pink rose from across the country ~ Rhode Island.
-
As for the obit. I posted and I know Liz posted yesterday. I don't know why it was gone today but it was. They did make a change and also added Deb's pic today. Maybe that is why our notes from yesterday were gone.
