LIFE'S A BEACH!

Here's a spot in Aruba.
I took the picture because it was the only "irregularity" I could find.
Everything else was just 'perfect'....... this showed a tad bit of charcter:
-
The first picture of the two was a flash-back to summer, just at the end of our block.
Marina, Sister Bay, Wisconsin.
Golly I look forward to summer back up there!!
This shoveling snow business is truly old already..... I've only personally shoveled today, but we've had more than our fair share.
Edit to add a picture.
Can't possibly start a new page without a picture.
Same marina, different sundown.
-
Faith..Did you try the pet shop or a nursery (plant)?
-
So far the only two stores I've been in, while I was remembering I "needed" them was Target and a dollar store.
Turning into a pumpkin.
See ya'all tomorrow.
Sleep deep........... dream sweet!!!
Be well & stay strong.
(I'm missing Saint tonight.)
-
Faithie, a dollar store might have them, but a craft store would definitely have some because they have them to put in flower vases.
If I thought they'd get to you in time, I have a bunch I picked up when cleaning out my uncle's house. Swirly ones, plain ones, a lot.
-
Good night photo
-

It's the weekend.
Can we have a party?
-
I think it's time we get all our toes in the same place!!!!
-
We have just checked in to our hotel. I have several things to say but we are heading out in minutes and I wanted to let you know something important. I spoke with our sister PauldingMom on our drive. (I think she used to post here) She didn't answer immediately which had me worried. Not too long after she called me from her hospital room. She is back in for another transfusion and has had to be getting fluids this week. She wanted me to pass on that she is okay and is trying to get healthy enough to be home for Christmas.
Copied from the "Garden" thread

Thanks for the update Meece. Good luck this whole weekend. May peace be with you!
-
thought I'd help Faith out with the flip-flops for cooler weather ... I've ordered enough for all of us, watch your mailbox
-
My feet are wriggling with anticipation of getting mine. They look so cozy.
-
Love the flops!
-
I am off for my beach walk here this morning will check in again tonight.Have a great day ladies.
-
What a gorgeous beach!
-
Sending beachie sunshine & sand to our PM/Lisa. I can't remember her frolicing here, but we throw open our shores for her recovery. Lisa, if you ever read along, enjoy the special healing powers of the beach collection of photos.
Mar, I'm thinking those winter flipsters will be a big hit with everyone. Thanks for purchasing in bulk, so as to remember all!!
Just heard that we should get to the mid-20's at the height of the day...... so thinking of you on the real beach Mum is somehow reassuring.
Meecie. Thinking of you this weekend. Hope that you can 'detatch' from any stress in the air.
Sharon. I'm so happy to see you popping in periodically. Makes me smile.
3Jays & Barbara. Hope that you're getting FL all warmed up for me. I'm ready for some warmth.
Barbe. Wish you had daily baby pic updates, but maybe that's wanting too much?
Chabba & SoCalLisa, keep those west coast pictures flowing.................
Coonie. Come back, come back.
Where's Chrissy? Where's Elaine? Dream hope that you're recooperating further every day.
Joni. Know that we are all amazed at your holding down the fort with two jobs. When do you finishe up with the extra hours??
Konakat. Any details for your trip yet? Know that we will all live vicariously thru your adventure.
You know we haven't heard from in a LONG time? JULZ!!! I know she's working hard to juggle all things at work and around her home, with all of her guys.
Dangerous to start a list. My intent is to let you all know how much you mean to me.

Thanks, all guys. In fact, you know I was very upset while I was in my office without any reason. I could not even post any thing that day so that picture of my eldest daughter and my grandaughter came in my mind so I had just post it. EWB thanks for you comment. Lisa I liked your beach picutre, my thanks to konakat , meece, barbe, samsue, faith and to barbara especially for her child,s picutre (pussycat). These days I am having some problem that I oftenly gets emotionally broke down. I wonder why so or is it side effects of arimidex.
I will have to bring to the notice of my doctor about this on my follow up check up on 3rd Jan,2011.Untill and unless I hear something from my doctor, I am sure I will not be able to concentrate.
-
Raj, it must be hard to not to have a group with whom you can share your feelings in person.
So many people have no idea what it is to be a cancer survivor..here we do know and we
welcome you to feel free to express your feelings...
-
Yeah Lisa, you are right. I feel good and relief not only by posting something from my heart but also seeing each and everone,s posting. But you know I could not do anything till 17th Dec,2010. Now it is midnight here, each and everyone has gone fast asleep but I am not just because of seeing the postings of you guys so as to feel myself good and relief.
-
Raj, this is also a good place to sit back and relax..you seem to have the same diagnosis that I had ten years ago now. I did my time with tamoxifen and arimidex. I did have a hard time concentrating and it was frustrating...
-
Rajkumari sorry to hear you're not feeling well. It' must be around 2AM there so that means you're probably not sleeping either. Take care, so enjoy talking with you.
Enjoying the pictures everyone.... still trying to download some that I took but not having much luck. UGH.
Read just recently that when we see something that creates AWE it helps our immune system. So this thread is a must for me... all the pictures you'all post are fabulous - AWESOME
Thanks for the uplift!
-
BTW Raj, my oncologists name was Dr. Raja, She is also from India.

-
Lisa, nice to come to know that your doctor is an Indian. That means you are already aware about India and its perople. That is great. I am basically from North East India. Your 10 years experience and your smiling has given me a boost. I feel ,I will be okay from now. Samsue, it is only 1 am now. Tomorow is holiday, I have no problem to stay with you all for another 1-2 hrs. I need atleast 6 hrs. sleep, so I can make up my time.
