It was yesterday, what a day it was
-
-
DH's band played yesterday at Jimmy B's - a fun beach bar.
Here is the beach looking out from the stage.
-
We are all going to Jimmy B's looks like a fun time!!
Here is my yucca plant flowering
-
Oh Lisa, what a great idea! To get it each day as it blooms! Lovely!
-
Back to the last page...
Mum, your hubby took a wonderful picture. Those boobies lookes quite perky, athough one looked a bit droopier than the other. Are they yours?
-
WOW!!! Am I glad that we have our very own house band that we can get plugged in at a moment's notice.
Guess what????????
I just got the most amazing email I've ever received in the past 15 years of my career. I am being considered to give the KEYNOTE at a NATIONAL convention. If this comes together it will be a first. I have given lots of keynotes and I have given lots of presentations at national events, but I have never been given the responsibility to give the KEYNOTE at a NATIONAL!!!!
I've been doing the cha-cha around my kitchen -- ever since I read it.
We just celebrated by having oatmeal for dinner!! (seriously: what loons!)

Barbara, get that band warmed up. I'm psyched at the possibility!!!

The GreenFlash Band is at the ready, Faithie. Just let us know and we're on the road or virtual! Check out some videos at http://www.greenflashgo.com/
Here's our website with vids of DH. Some with band and some I took at home.
-
Golly gee, Barbara.
Our winter place is in Ocala. My brother-in-law lives near Tampa. We can meet IRL!!! I could come hear the GreenFlash in person -- seriously!
(shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anyone here..... they might start turning 'green' themselves.)
Looks like their schedule is so busy, I'm not sure if there's much room for them to be on call as our beachie-band, but since they're willing, we'll attempt to get our reservations in way ahead of time.

edited cuz i can't spell

The name of the band is wonderful, I just love seeing the real green flash over the Pacific
-
Hi beachies, stopping by to say hi and hope everyone is doing fine. Wish I could take a week, forget all the troubles and stay on a beach somewhere and walk the shores, wade in the waves, hunt sea shells and just relax. Will check back in again soon. love and hugs.
-
spar..what a surprise..come and sit a spell....warm hugs, SoCal
-
Faith-you say when and they'll be there.
Lisa, I have see the green flash several times and even tried to capture it with a camera. Nope. The west coast of FL has killer sunsets, much like the Pacific.
-
(((((((((((((((((((((((((SPAR)))))))))))))))))))))))))) so good to see you!!!
((((((((((((((((((((((FAITH)))))))))))))))) how awesome is that?!?
Lisa that plant in progress of blooming is awesome!!!! Loved it!
Hoping all you beachettes have a wonderful day...

SPARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
so terrific to have our 'virtual-beach' at your finger-tips, until your toes hit real sand
Arnie, did you get lost on FB?? I went searching for you there & couldn't find you?????
pssssssssssst: there's a birthday party at Coonie's house today, for her DD.......... i bet if we hurry-on-down there will still be some cake by the time we ring the doorbell.
who has #32 tied up at their dock?
we must make a mad-cap scramble to pick everyone up while there's still cake!!!
-
Well, I have this picture, but the green didn't shine through, you can see where it was though
-
OOOH! Love the purples and mauves!
-
here is on I did not take
-
back to mine
to me this is serenity
-
Barbe, when are you gonna tell all the beachies about your newest grandchild.......
come, on, details, everyone wants to celebrate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Beautiful picture. You have an artists eye.
-
I've been waiting but have yet to see #32 coming my way. Did you forget me?
-
Meece, I guess I missed something...what is #32??
or maybe I am out of it, which is soooo possible
-
Beachies.
Everybody must have gotten busy for a couple of days???
Lisa, and all beachie-newbies, #32 is our swan boat, (Barbe is it really a duck boat?? Now I forget) but it was melded into a photo collage by KAK in photo shop, with the duck/swan boat placed in my Sister Bay marina and our lovely captain Sharon at the helm.
We pull out #32 for all necessary 'virtual' parties where we all need to gather together for the important milestones -- we wish we were together in person.
Sharon doesn't fly on actual airplanes, so hence she 'always' get's to be the captain.
Somebody else, Coonie maybe, can usually track down the photo when called upon.
There's a great big #32 somewhere on the duck/swan boat. Is the think pink perhaps?? My memory is laughable.
We've had some great hijinks and adventures thru cyber space.
I had yet more PT today -- and interesting conclusions from a variety of tests.
Also had lunch with my dear friend who's husband died abruptly from the yellow jacket attack earlier in the month. She is amazing. Always has been, this is just more evidence, in how she is handling herself.
So now it's on to PINKtober............. such a range of emotions. This is my first 'pink-month' after having our science fail my dear Saint.
Sure hope someone's at a real beach this weekend & can share some views & vistas. Mar??
Sheila, surely you've got some ol' Hawaii you can cut & paste?
Mum???
Lisa???
I say we allow reruns if necessary. Julz has had more challenges in real life -- with the health of her son. I know she appreciate some good thoughts.
Golly I miss everyone when it gets 'quiet' around here............................
Into October we go.

Faith, I'm walking the Komen Saturday In St Pete. I'll post pix of my shirt and me (shirt says I'm walking for all my BCO sisters). I haven't had any pix taken of me since BC. Oh lord. Maybe I can airbrush them. Or put a bag over my head...yeah, that's the ticket!
-

Hi Beachies, some sand and surf for you........
Faith, here is a photo I took a few weeks ago of the beach near my house looking at the Atlantic. That lighthouse out there is supposedly haunted. (okay, I'm having a hotflash - tamoxifen's fault)
Swan boat? Like the ones in Boston in the park? any photos?
