    Happppppy Beachie Weekend of JOY!!

    Looks like several of you have been frolicking along together.

    Beautiful grand-daughter, amazing pictures, seems like I have sand between my toes!!

    I have worked and worked and worked all day on my "fire trucks" (the LASTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT illustration for my book) and it is seriously pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. LOL. What's awesome, is that it's almost done.

    My arm aches like crazy from all of the effort, but I know that it will be better with a full night's sleep................ but it's just so exciting to see the thing seriously coming together -- right before my eyes. 

    Ever onward!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Faithie---I saw your firetrucks on your blog and they ARE beautiful!! Is there anything that you CAN'T do??? LOLOL  Can't wait to get the next book in the hands of my dd the teacherTongue out

    Coonie. I can't wait for you to see what I've done, since I posted those very first pictures as the firetruck got underway. I completely forgot to take pictures today. So it will jump rather abruptly from beginning to end. HA! No middle. At least I have a few from the beginning.

    a friend of mine has a home in sea isle city, nj  ...  over the winter, she took this pic, showing the snow and sand together - not something we see a lot.  I love this shot

    Lisa, so thrilled that you get to have regular contact with our BCO sisters.

    Mar, my firetrucks are nearly, nearly finished. Making it the last illustration. Now must write all of the credits, publishing pages & draw the sign language support page & it's complete.

    Leaving momentarily for a quick Chicago hop. I present a couple of workshops tomorrow at a big back-to-school conference.

    Hubby's birthday is today, so we celebrated plenty yesterday. I'll sing to him in the car today.

    LOL

    Hope all you beachies are having a wondermous Wednesday.

    Our weather has been unbearable.......really....heat stroke kind of weather.

    I'm so ready for freezing temperatures to be here. We can sit on the beach in our coats.

    I'm just tired of being HOT!!

    Faithie----the firetrucks are looking wonderful. It's amazing what you can do with a piece of material. You've got such a creative mind. Hope your lymphedema is allowing you to enjoy work on your project as much as you can. Pace yourself.
