big hugs to all you beachies today.
Hope everyone can get in a few more splashes before summer is over.
Personally, I'll be SO GLAD when summer is over!! I don't EVER remember it being this hot!!
ahhhhh----now that's what I'm talking about.....

This is my nephew's beach in Portugal, right outside his home. My sister & brother-in-law just took their first European trip to visit him. So this is from their camera.
Pretty awesome:
-
Not much room on that beach
-
Sure looks like a good place to do some "people watching"
-
ooooh coonie i was thinking the same thing. LOL
-
LOLOL Seyla-------that's one of my favorite things to do
-
Wow. Started a new page with a picture.
Don't I get some extra-beachie-credit when that happens?
LOL
Here's what we saw this morning:
This was a parade of "Tall Ships" on their way to a festival in the city of Green Bay for the weekend. We were able to motor in and around them. Seriously awesome. There were 13 ships.
Here's the "Bounty" which was the star of the MGM movie, "Mutiny on the Bounty."
Which one shall we charter for our first ever beachie-girls soire & lunch?
The little ol' gals at our table were sure enjoying their Bloody Marys.
LOLWe had so much fun!!
-
I loved the umbrellas in the Portugal picture.
Perfect place for people watchin'!!!
-
Yaaayyyyy Faithie!!! Top of the page picture!!!! You go GIRLFRIEND!!! LOLOL
Awesome pics too! Gotta save one for my desktop background
-
9 posts in ten minutes. We did good.
-
Sheila, You're another "numbers" gal -- no wonder you fit so well on our beach.
LOL
-
I worship the beach.
-
-
I just love the tall ships....
-
This one is here and was the ship in "Master and Commander"
-
I live near the beach and work on the beach.....absolutley love the beach enjoyed the pics
-
and this is the Star of India
the oldest iron hulled sailing ship
-
WELCOME renee!!!!!!!!!
We love to have new beach-combers.
If you figure out how to share pics we'd LOVE to see yours!!!
Here's a happy pair of flip-flops to welcome you.
-
I like the way this one turned out........
With the reflection of the ship in the water:
-
We were seriously pretty close to all of the action:
-
wow , now cool is that
-
to the beach Renee
Pull you up a chair and stay awhile...
-
Honest-to-goodness, I felt like I could reach out & touch the pretties.
I made sure that my camera was strapped to my wrist.
I was so excited half the time, I thought I might lose it.
-
This has been so much fun -- to 'visit' in real time, with several of you.
Weeks ago we made theatre reservations for tonight.
LOL
Then along came this parade of sails.
So much for not cramming toooo much into any given day.
Must go tidy up & look lovely for "A Little Night Music" at our players theatre.
It is unseasonably HOT here for WI. My arm acts seriously crazy in this much heat, I don't think I could manage full time in the south -- with these new concerns.
xx00xx00xx00xx
Hubbie just came in the door & says we're taking the motorcycle & going now for a picnic on the beach. (The theatre is right on the shore.) How much do I LOVE this little slice of heaven-on-earth?
-
Oh ladies !!!!! the pics of the tall ships are truly amazing !!!!!!! love love love them all.
-
Here's the last rig in yesterday's parade:
-
Faith and Lisa.... sat here this morning and just took in the beauty of those ships... mmmmmmm
Hope all you beachettes have a wonderful day!!!!
