    P.S. I think we should all do a joy dance for very own Sharon and all that she is doing to support our Konakat thru these rough waters.

    Maybe we should pop some good eye-candy Life Guards up for KK, just in case she happens to paddle through...... I know that is one of her favorite aspects of our beach.

    Surely, someone can find a better picture. This is tooo far away. LOL

    Marlegal....yes that was just one of the thousands of pictures I have in my little laptop...I took

    that one on the beach in Coronado...I love it when they are there, but I can never predict

    their schedule...

    oh man, it sooo does the soul good to come to this site, doesn't it???  I'm at my favorite hideaway (that's the name of our campground) and we had such a great day at the bay.  lots of shorebirds, some of which we never saw before and had to come home and google!  here's a shot taken at dead low tide - usually we actually have some wave action on the bay and much less beach.  soooo tranquil there, i just love it.  that a guy in a rowboat out there, and to the left are people fishing from our dock.

    p.s. to Sharon - that sandpiper doormat is an interior one - you come in our back porch door and there are treads on those steps, and then a trashy mat inside, then go across the room and hit the good one so you better have gotten all the sand off before then!!!  You know what though? If it gets dirty I'll just buy another - it was online and I remember where so no biggie :)
