Spar, I didn't know about your uncle. I am so very sorry. How very sad for your aunt and the rest of the family. You know his spirit will live on in your hearts forever. I have to believe that.

Thanks Sahalie and the Beach Crew plus Angel! I'm going to have a busy day with family coming over for dinner (which to them means 2:00, lol). I'm wearing one of my Harley shirts, so I'm going to have a very biker birthday. Thanks again! You guys are the best.

Hope you have a good one!!!

Bikerjanny, Happy Birthday to you!!!! Have a wonderful day and have a birthday year that brings health, happiness and prosperity. I loved the twin starfishes pic....now you must find a gorgeous pic with 3 starfishes!!!!
spar, i am so saddened to read about your dear uncle's passing. Your sweet aunt is feeling the huge void that his passing will leave in her life. You are so wonderful to think about trying to visit her once a week.
faith, now you are beginning to find lots of pics that i have also saved...see? no mystery at all...they are out THERE!!! Lovely pictures to raise our spirits...thank you! I love the sculpture of the swirled-around woman who looks like she is diving. That fractal pic is one of the best that i have seen!!
sahalie, wow i am so excited that soon...very very soon...you will get to travel to your paradise to swim and frolic in the warm sands and ocean. Please put enough flowers in your hair for me too. i think my paradise would be able to go back in time to be young, in northern California, in the Haight-Ashbury and Berkeley in those days. Yup. That would be IT for me.
dreamwriter, congrats to you....being the same according to your docs can be a very good thing!! Good to hear that your friend Jacqueline is holding her own.
debikay, hi to you. We talk about the beach and other stuff. Join in!
socal lisa, beautiful beach pic!!!! very calming!!! Let that camera keep speaking for you.
julz, you are so busy. I am glad to see you here and can't wait till you and spar can be here more frequently.
luv, i loved the dove pic. I never found my skin cancer spot at all, the dermatologist found it. I was there about the sun damage on my arms (i have red head skin, never tan and frequently have to have little blips burned off my arms). The spot didn't hurt or itch....no signs of it at all.....apparently it was a tiny red smear on my scalp.
****************************************************************************************************
I waited in the Mohs dermatology office for 5 hours for my results after they took the sample from my scalp and brought it to their lab. There were people in that office that had been there since early morning and had been in 3 or 4 times to get samples taken, followed by more waiting. The good news is that the sample had clean margins after the first excision (actually my 3rd excision since May--the other two were done by a regular dermatologist). I had to wait a bit longer till they could take me back and give me more numbing needles to do my stitches...lots of stitches to close the hole. Altogether, i was there 6 and a half hours total, almost all of it sitting and waiting, in a packed waiting room.
The only bad part of this besides all the waiting (very boring) was that at the start i had to meet with a RN nurse (with dubious knowledge) for a pre-procedure interview. She was someone who didn't seem to know the actual definition of even the simplest of words and needed to go look them up herself. Very pathetic and laughable. How do these people get to be nurses?
janny for you......
sahalie for you........
Now it's time for the healing powers of the beach......

Hi everyone, Life really is a beach.
I just want to stop by and say hello and fill you
in one my night out last night celebrating my three
years dancing with NED!
We went to Outback, which was wonderful once
we got a seat. Fridays are very busy.
Our waitress was a delight, so we chatted with her
and told her why we were celebrating. She was gently
touched, and very happy for me/us.
She brought us the bill, and said that the manager said we
could have desert on the house. OH boy
!
I was stuffed, but cheesecake sounded sooooooo good.
She brought it out with dark chocolate dripping all over and pooling into the plate. It was so good, every bite!
But this afternoon , this is what happened to my chair on the beach......
TIME FOR A DIET

From a very special friend. Gratis. Loves and so happy to help.
I just got home so am late in helping dear friend send her wishes.
*
Our dearest friend asked me to share this with you.
" I have to tell a story of my uncle that a neighbor told me last night. She said someone had ran over her mailbox and broke the wooden post into and she got out there with duct tape and tried to fix it. My uncle (pack) walked out and saw her but didn't say anything. When she got home from work the next day he had tore out the old post and made her a beautiful decorative post for her mailbox. that is just the kind of person he was. If only I could have got him to foots house everything would have been fixed."
From dear friend to Janny * "These are flip flop holders for biker to keep track of all her flip flops."
Birthday present to biker from dear friend. Flip flop soaps.
Here are hugs for everyone from A to Z * From dear friend.
*
Please pray for our dear friend as she is going through this horrific time and cut off from her
friends.

Celia. I am so relieved to read your post and know you are doing well. But the wait in the dermatology office. Ugh. Your wonderment about so called professionals is right on. Believe me I know after dealing with the good, the bad and the ugly coming in and out of our home to help me care for my dh. Takes all kinds. Some are wonderful Angels. Then there are those who have no business calling themselves a nurse. The pictures. OMG.
Margaret. It's great to see you posting. Hotter than blazes here the last two days. Another ugh.
Faith. & Mary Lou. Such meaningful pictures. I love the beach hands.
LUV. Now that picture is my kind of craft fun.
Julz. What a great repertoire of musical magic you created for thJanny's beach Birthday.
Spar. Count down to new job. Also. I send you heartfelt condolences regarding your beloved Uncle. We need you on the beach ASAP.
FootsDeb. Sending thoughts of good cheer and happy days a head.
I'm beat. It's been in the 90's here and ridiculous. I think I'll pack my carry on this next week
and sit by the door till departure date. Can you tell I'm so ready.
Hello to all here * there * everywhere.

Good Sunday morning, all. Enjoy the friendships here:
Celia: I think the motorcycle above, was made from balloons. Imagine that!

Hello Beachies
I'm back from Burmuda. There was some rough weather (lots of barf bags) but all in all a fine time. The pink sand is beautiful. You were alll with me watching the moon over the water and soaking up the peaceful environment of the island. I was NOT the person in the watermellon, I do have the shoes but not those legs. I look more like the watermelon itself with all that food. Unfortunately, during the cruise my left hand became very swollen and painful. The ship's doctor didn't have lab or xray equipment but he prescribed pain medication, an anti-inflammatory and an antibiotic. We retuned yesterday and spent 5 hours in the ER checking it out. Turns out, everything was negative thankfully so I have a "possible skin infection" and I'm on Keflex. It seems to be getting better. I'll let my doctor see it though. I feel shell shocked the way I react to every little "sympton." I did manage to buy a beautiful sea glass necklace despite my fears.
Looks like you're all been very creative and busy. Love the px.
Spar, sorry for your loss.
