Just popping in to say hello to all the beach ladies! Sorry I've been gone so long...we bought kayaks and bikes and have been paddling and biking every waking moment!

Janny. Ditto * Same same. Big same.
Angel. Beautiful light. Heart.

sweet sahalie, i love the dog and cat guffaws too. They make me smile and i hope they made you smile too. Like they say, some pics are worth a thousand words!!
sige, that is fantastic about losing 57 lbs, but i have seen your pic and you don't have that kind of poundage to lose -- you are tiny!! You are scaring me!
faith, you managed to snag a pic that i also had in my collection (the middle one you posted of the stick figures) so you are good at finding pics too!! thank you by the way for dedicating a pic to me...i love the sculpture !
footsdeb, can't wait for you to see the kitten pic. do you have cats or dogs? I can tell that you love them.
the beach....the beautiful beach and ocean and sky!!!

Oh sweet beach, I have missed you all so much. Have been at my daughters keeping the kids and spent hours weedeating and mowing her grass as a surprise gift. It was up to our knees and was really difficult but boy what a good feeling with a job well done.
Also at the volunteer soup and sandwich kitchen we fed 150 people Wed night so that is awsome, there are so many sad, poor, people. Met one man named Kenny that I thought was a homeless person, I see him all over town in his wheelchair, he doesn't have any legs. He came to get the free food so we meet some interesting people. Most keep coming back.
Went out job hunting yesterday and go a call back and said the job is mine so I will be working in a nursing home. I go in Monday morning for my Oct schedule. It is going to be tuff coming out of retirement.
I am so ready for a nice quite time on the beach, the peace and harmany.
Sahalie, am so sorry to hear about your hand, hope it heals fast, did you keep ice on it the first 24 hours? Is it better yet?
All of the watermelon creations are wonderful and make me want to eat it really bad. My husband is cutting out a half moon to paint and hang a bat off of.
I spend some time at the shop my daughter manages, it is too expensive for me but I found a creation that I am going to try to make. You know the old metal plates, someone had drilled holes around the bottom half and hung antique fork, knives, and spoons making the neatest wind chime. They had some gorgous ones in there. I am in a windchime mood now.
here is the starting of our sunset tonight on the beach.
here is one for you foots
I have the beach party craze
Here is a windchime for us poor folks
How cool is this one.
Hope all are healthy, happy and full of love and laughter and support to give each other.
hugs from A - Z
-
spar, it is so good to see you on the beach! you really are a true Angel to feed those needy people, and do such a nice thing for your daughter. I guess it will be hard to come out of retirement, but it will feel so good to make some money and get stairs for your house and everything else that you need to move in. The hardest part is over now--you have the house and soon you will be able to move in it. You are lucky in the current job market to be able to get a job right away. I love the windchime idea with the forks and spoons. Are those tumbled slices of stone, like from a lapidary, in that windchime you posted?
-
LOL Faith! At first I thought the beautiful legs coming out of the watermelon was the one for me.....Then I thought the precious little angel was for me..............then I saw the square watermelons and NEW it was for me!!!!
UMMMMMMMMMMM......see pic below..................yup, he tried it!!
Neesie oops...........forgot to resize it.............but atleast it's at the bottom of the page!

Hey Beachie Kids!
TY Lisa, I did take it w/o flash, but it was WAY too dark. I may just make this a new project; to learn how to use dd's camera! How did you fix it?
LOve the BEacH thrEAd!!!!
Hugs to all---been cleaning for company this weekend & then sat in the hot sun all afternoon at a grand opening taking donations for the humane society. We got a goodly sum-but I suspect it was the 2 Hooter Girls wiping down cars as they exited the free carwash asking for donations that did it!!! LOLOLOL I am BEAT! Gonna have some dinner & may stop back later---you ALL be well & stay strong!
-
HATE it when the page does this?? can anyone fix it????
-
Goodnight to those who are sun-kissed by the sun ...and know that God is looking on you w/ a smile! Giving back ...helping those in need makes us whole.
Much LUV
-
Beachie bunnies.... I'm attempting to make progress over in
Picasa-land. Home of the photo-collage. Fun. Revisiting ARUBA:
-
I think I have figured out that if you delete a pic in your photobucket album it disappears from here--right???
HUGS--A-Z--I may not be back for a bit---busy weekend & week, then off to Vegas!! I will not promise to keep up--but to return down the shoreline!
Be well & stay strong beachie kids!
Still working on the flash issues---A cross stictch that I worked on for over 20 years (lost it a few times) and finished when I was told my vision may be compromised-----it has that "orginality" mistake---can you find it?
-
Hi All....
Faith, great job. Much better than mine. I
have been feeling sick all day. Have some type of
bug. Sick to my stomach
Why do I see post about this being THE BEACH, THE BEACH?
Yes, that is why I come to let my burdens float away. Love to our Angel
-
Loving this picture Spar. Love it.
*
Who made the page go off on a tangent?
500 X 500 keeps it in bounds so we don't have to scroll to tim buck two to read. Jeesh.
Spar. Congratulations on your new job. How wonderful you will be.
And also how you are so comforting to feed the homeless.
Celia. The sunset on the beach is calling us it's so pretty.
Sige. Congratulations to your hard work and having fun at the same time.
It was weather wierd here today. Cloud cover and in the 80's hot.
Jazzy. XOXO.

I send positive vibes and prayers to any who are going through tough times.
Let the warm arms of the beach surround you and bring you comfort.

for those of us who need to remember why this thread is here.
It's kind of a word hug if you will.
Splash and Relax. Miles and Miles of Shells to find.
