Hi there...when you have glass, try to take the photo without the flash even if you have to use something to stabilize the camera..sometimes it helps to take it at any angle...

Lisa ~ HOW adorable is your family !?  Your grandson must be so happy to have his family participate in the funnest time of year for him....ahhhh to be a "kid" again...

Saint~ Awwww ...you are a Saint!  After that I decided it is harmless & it team-building! What memories those kids are making......this is so true...I remember doing this ONCE in my life how scared silly I was, and yet helped to take it down after Halloween.  Beautiful Water colors...I can't draw let alone paint...such talent!

Spar ~  How fun is Halloween !?  You can compile a bunch of crafts on your front porch burn the candles and have a beautiful setting for the Trick-or-Treaters!

I am sorry to have been away so long.  I am trying to catch up and not making much progress. 

Spar2 - how are you feeling and what is going on with you? 

Footprintsangel - how are things with you, like the lymphadema?

SoCalLisa - your pics of Alaska are wonderful, it makes me wish I was back there.

Faith - you are great about your closet light, what a wonderful thought, imagine that I thought of that for my closet 8years ago and am still waiting.  Guess it will not happen in my house.  The heart set is wonderful, thanks for thinking of me, you are always in my thoughts.

Biker 54 - The starfish pic is the best.  I was so touched and amazed by it.

Footprints - I am so sorry about you pain, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

By the way has anyone offered to host a beach get together?

I have to go back and catch up, the kids left this morning. Wow it is quiet. LOL Took me awhile to catch my breath. My DIL stayed too for a few days. Two babies is such a handful.

Saint gave me an idea in lieu of the season...

I've brought a bunch of pumpkins for everyone to carve....save the seeds LUV likes to put rock salt on them and bake!

Here's LUVs.......

We used to save our Mr. Potato head attachments and have the little ones place them in their pumpkin and we get the most compliments on those...and its safe.

Also, keep the flat marbles and place them in your pumpkin for eyes !...One of my brothers ideas...

Hey Beachie Kids!

I am exercising my "no name" post today LOL

LOVE the idea of riding a horse in the surf. Was supposed to do it on the Oregon coast, but it rained (when doesn't it rain there? LOL) 

Somewhere on this computer I have pix of pumpkins I have carved. We used to make 7-10 jack-o-lanterns & give some away. It was fun even tho my hand felt crippled for days after! I will find them & post them during Oct. & we can take the suggestion to switch from watermelons! 

I tried to take the next pic from an angle--but it distorted the image! I can't crop it well either---thinking my first attempts at painting were MUCH better than the new attempts at using this camera!!! Give me a good old 35 mm!!! HAAHAHA The pix I took are blurry & don't give much for detail OR color....all disclainmers from someone doubting their work? It is hard to put it out there at best--& these pix AIN'T!! It is what it is!  Art is in the creating.........the eye of the beholder may NOT agree!

Oh Sahalie, I am so jealous!  Riding on the beach.  I rode horses when I was younger, and loved to go swimming with them.  I've never ridden on the beach though.  I hoe you had a good time.
