Hey Beachie Kids!
Back to say HI-----Life is taking over & I seem to spend little time at the computer---as Martha Stewart says, "it's a GOOD thing" since I never know how long I will feel good I want to swim in the mainstream while the urge is on me!
I so enjoy all the posts here! Just catching up (on 4 pages) makes my pulse & breathing slow down & I get a mini vacation! I plan to get some pix of my "stuff" up before too long--be patient-- I will be back sooner or later!
Meanwhile----take care of each other & enjoy the "escape" that the beach is......
Be well & stay strong

whhhhhhhhhhhhheeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
home safe and sound. big day. fun day. exciting day. exhauasting day.
i heard that today is the "official" first day of the newest season. bring it on.
so glad to read back over the fun day @ the beach.
eyes are popping outta their sockets..... mindless TV in order.................
-
Playful waves of water
Caught the colors of the sky,
And cast the hues of sunset
Rippling softly in my eyes.Mesmerizing moments,
Opened...wide to heaven's,
Heaven's light. Then the lovely moon arose
She shimmered on the sea;
Sunlight beaming from her face,
To playful waves, then me...Memserizing moments,
Opened...wide to heaven's,
Heaven's light.
Mesmerizing moments,
Opened...wide to heaven's,
Heaven's light...
Mind adrift,
From troubled shores(searching for the poet)
Sun sets upon the chateau...LUV enjoyed the day with her sisters...a much needed day
-
oh, I will take one of the turret rooms, thank you very much
-
We saved the room for SoCalLisa..she has devine taste and deserves a warm place to stay as the chilled evening rolls in....
-
that looks so inviting..thanks
-
I'll take one with a fireplace AND a sunken tub -- I'll bring my own candles, don't worry about that.
-
LUV searched every room w/ faithandfifty...and alas we found the perfect turret room w/ sunken in spa tub ...
-
Lovely poem Luvs. I can't see the picture tho. It's a red x. Can you go back and delete it and repost it.
Thanks. Also the large picture of the beautiful bed and tub can be smaller so the page doesn't get so huge.
Just click edit on your post. then go the options and make the dimensions within 500 X 500
The first 500 is the length across so if you stay in that it will fit this box perfectly.
I'm ready to jump in that tub then bed. Busy hot day today.
Hi to all Shining Shells.

I do not think I should visit the beach today. My heart is so heavy. I lost a cat to breast cancer Dec 5, 2006. She was a beauty. Maine Coone. And before she was diagnosed we adopted the twins from a friend that did not want them separated. Well they are separated now. Bandit is the sole remaining cat. Smudge had to be put down due to liver damage (and he only drank water and milk). Everyone in the household is grieving. Could find no connection to the beach except that to cry into warm sand, and let the waves wash away the pain would help. Surrounded by friends is the only place to be.
-
Dreamwriter. I am so sorry about your cat. My animals mean everything to me.
The love they give. Their eyes looking straight into our souls baring their own souls with
unconditional love.
I send you my heartfelt condolences. It's just not easy to lose our joy. Life will never be the same.

Hope this will relax you Dreamwriter..

Sweetest dreams wishes to all our Beach Shining Shells.
Hoping each and every are well and have some moments of calm tonight.

goodness. just enough time to thank LUV for that gorgous retreat and to send out some heartfelt support to our dreamgirl. sorry to hear of your loss. we extend ourselves and open ourselves to the realities that life hands us. stretching toward love and rebounding with pain at times.
the warmth of the beach will offer you solace.
off to more fun.............. and then a return to the recording studio............
then plan to sink in that tub tonight.
happy merry-go-round from A to Z:

Dream,
I am so sorry for your loss! Our pets give us unconditional love, and it hurts so bad when we lose them!!
Remember, she is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge. Whey you die, all your pets will meet you there and you will cross over the Bridge into Eternity together. Here is the link to a website with that poem:It is a beautiful poem, and I believe that it's true.
You NEED to be here on the beach, surrounded by your friends, who love you!!! Please stay...

Dreamwriter ~
I am so sorry for the loss of your cat, they are family and show us their unconditional love.
The constant reminders around the house just brings additional pain.
What helps me, is knowing they had a beautiful, spoiled life and were very much loved...very much....missed.
No one can replace your loss as they are forever in your heart...but perhaps there is room to share.

Dreamwiter, so sorry about the loss of your cat. It is so hard to lose a beloved pet.
Hi Beachies!
Sorry to be MIA, but we have had major computer problems at work. We got at least 3 viruses that have over run everything. The tech is coming on Friday to delete the whole hard drive. Grrr! That means reinstalling everything.
Sahalie, I love your ideas about the wreaths. Very cool.
LUV! Welcome to the beach!
Faith, you are running around half dressed? Oh my!
SoCal, beautiful pics, as aways.
JulZ, how's it goin'?
Harley, hi there, fellow biker chick.
Saint, good morning to you also.
Spar, how's life treating you?
Wings, been out on the new Harley lately?
Jazzy, still searching for you, sister.
Foots, hope all is well.
I have nothing written down, so if I missed you, I'm sorry.
All my Beachie Keen friends, have a great day!
-
dreamwriter, I pm'd you about your cat.
goodmorning to all my beach friends, have been working on some crafts and reading lots of post and hoping everyone is relaxing and having a good time walking the beach and finding some treasures. I love you all and am sending hugs all the way around the world to all that need it.
Right now am fighting a little depression but am sure it will go away soon
Here is kinda how I feel today
The light of other
days is faded
and all their
glories past
Alfred Bunn
After I do some more of crafts will post a picture to show you how they turned out
Hang out, have fun, have some good food and some good drinks with good beach friends!
-
AHHH Dream my friend----I am so sorry about Smudge! I know he was part of your family & will be sorely missed. After my sister lost her dog she remarked that when our pets died we cried longer & harder than we did after our parents died----and we did. I think it is cuz Mom & Dad were not part of our everyday lives, but those pets are part of our every moment at home-----Smudge will be one of the first to great you on the other side; bounding out of the gates & leading you in----I'll call tonite---hugs
-
Spar ~
How about I make you some Pumpkin Waffles to start this season off right !?
With a nice fleece throw....
and we can gather the fall leaves and place them in books later to frame!
-
Sometimes Life throws us the unexpected......
-
OM Serendippity do dah. That is so hilarious!
Janny. I love the beach picture you just posted. That is a keeper too. So serene.
I was wondering where you were and missing you. Don't go anywhere please ! ! !
I don't have everyone's name written down either and try so diligently to not forget anyone but
with my challenged memory bank of names I seem to always leave someone out and don't mean
too. I think many of us here on the beach are so relaxed when here it's OK.
Although * I'm having separation anxiety from Jazz.
Wings. I sure hope all is well and you are just good old plain and busy with what you love to do.
Footsdeb. A surprise on the beach for you today so keep watching OK !
XOXO
Thanks to an Angel we have a kind and supportive refuge here at the beach.
Maintaining it as we do is for the good of all and the safe keeping of our support of one another.
Faith. Have fun in the tub. Fun in the studio. And fun plain and simple.
I saw a cute card made with the pastel print of a babeeze foot print then a stem and
leaves. It was really adorable. Just a thought for something.
Celia. What up today? May all things glisten in your day today.
Surf's up to all. See you on the waves. Or in them. Which ever.
Sahalie groovin on Halloween things and all things made with a little glitter.

Sahalie, OMG!!!!! Thank goodness I wasn't drinking anything when I saw that pic you just posted! It would be all over my keyboard!!! ROTFLMAO!!!!
-
Hello everyone! Dropping by with a quickie here.
Sahalie-I loved your lulu story.
Spar-no reason to be sad. We are all here for you and you can fill us in your heart.
Julz-yes the goats are very cuddly. Some more than others. The babies we have had born on the farm are very loving because we cuddle them from day 1. Nothing like a goat hug. Very calm and relaxing to sit in the barn and have the come around.
Lisa-lovely pics as always.
Dreamwriter-So sorry to hear about your cat. I know how I love my animals and my thoughts are with you.
Angel sure created a wonderful place here for us to gather. Thanks!
Faith-I bet the babies are really growing. Any pics lately?
Marg-Sorry to hear you have been sick.
Luv-Nice seeing you around on these parts of the beach.
Oh gotta run,,work is calling. I never have long enough to say what I want to say.
Bye for now!
Amy
