Lisa* I adore the musical note fabric you shared above.
Was that a center piece at one of your fun times.
I want some of that fabric.
XOXO
-
Yes, that was on the table of our musuem during a festivity..
-
So clever and eye catching Lisa. Have you pictures of center pieces through out the years?
How fun it would be to see one of your fun collages of center pieces.
-
Hi everyone. I am learning a strange lesson. I was always taught it is better to give than receive. And now people are giving to me. At first it felt weird, wrong. I know that each gift is given with love. It still is hard to accept but without those friends, Las Vegas would not happen. And new friends pushed that into happening too. I cannot believe there are so many generous people out there. I once was one of them and never gave a thought as to how the recipient felt. Silly me.
-
that is a great idea..but where to look for them??
One of these days!!
-
Please bare with me as I am so giggly over Halloween crafts. Spar is too.
I found this little whisper that looks as if it's going to the Prom.
Lot's of fluffle and chiffon.
I won't even be in the USofA at Halloween but I still get a kick out of crafts.
-
Lisa* I know how busy our days are but one of the rainy weeks during winter time
(we can only hope in our beloved California)
maybe you can get out all your photos or look in your albums online and put the collage
together. What a treat that would be for all of us.
XOXO

Spar Princess of ideas*
I just had a thought about a spooky fun wreath for the front door.
Take only a few grape vines or wisteria vines and make a disrumpled circle wreath
for the front door. Spray paint it black. Have twigs sticking out here and there.
Make cut out figures of white ghosts and black cats and glue them (only a few) around
the wreath.
Sound like an idea?

G'Night from the Beach and gentle waves.

Beachie west-coast, late-night party going on..............
WELCOME Luv. We can always use more LUV at the beach. So glad that you found us!!
(Note to self, must find list on paper towel and add LUV's name to my 'list.') LAM: laughing @ me
Running out the door, partially clothed, to eat breakfast in the car & brush teeth in their parking lot. Fall. The familiarity of funny old patterns.
p.s. Loved all the pics from artie gatherings, etc.
-
Hey LUV!! Welcome to the BEACH!!! Pull up a beach chair, and grab a nice cold drink!!
This is where I go when I'm not on that story thread. I would be working on the story more often, but since I got my nipples put back, I can't think of anything as funny as that!!
Enjoy the beach!!Luv,
Harley
-
Thank you for having me... even my rags to riches beach sandals fit perfect...thank you Sahalie!
Harley, having you is just plain just good company no matter where your nipples are! LOL...
Thank you for the coldest drinks and the warmest of welcome!

Hola on the Beach ! It's a changing of the seasons with leaves turning. chilly mornings.
continuing warm days here in my sunny state and all the while our palm trees on the beach
stay green and waving to towards the sea.
Mary Lou. Same here before my Java. Hope to see you later K.
Luvs. Jackpot with the flip flops. So glad you like them. They are haute' beach couture.
Faith. True story* I once saw a person I know in her car * me in mine and she
was actually driving and brushing her teeth.
I couldn't believe she was brushing her teeth while driving. She never knew I saw her cuz I
never said anything to her about it.
Julz. How was your night as the compassionate care person you are. I hope all your
patients were comfortable and no problemos.
Spar. I am rarin' to go on the craft thingies. I made all my children's costumes when they
were little. They in turn would take tons of socks, shirts anything stuffable and make the
scariest man and sit him on the front porch amoung the pumpkins for Halloween.
They got the biggest kick out it and so did we.
Celia. Can you feel your weather changing up north?
FootsDeb. Make sure any ramp people make for you has skid proof and mold proof stuff
on it so you don't slip and slide out the front door.
Lemonade for you later on the beach. Maybe some lemon bars too.
Lisa. I took another look at your "Artist take a break" collage and sure enjoy it.
My work area would look like the bottom right with some crumbs and spots of water
and coffee mixed in.
I need to ask you a question Ms. Lisa so am sending a valentine to your PM box. K.
Great morning greetings to all here there and everywhere.
This is the beginning of Primo wave action. Surfs up!

I am so happy to see everyone at the beach. Harley I agree with Luv no matter where your nipples are we love you.
Sahalie, I can't wait to get to the store and get some orange paint, and find vines, was thinking maybe of foam cut out for the ghost and cats to put on the vine maybe a few orange pumkins. Am very excited about making this stuff.
The tide rises
the tide falls
The twilight
darken, the
curlew calls;
The little waves
with their soft
white hands
Efface the
Footprints in the
sands, and the
tide rises, the
tide falls.
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Everyone have a great day. Love and Hugs from A-Z

Lovely * Spar.
I'm off to find some examples of the wreath I posted last night.

Jasmine spotted in Tahiti.
Jasmine Jazz (USA) dethroned defending event champion (ToadyGreenly) to claim victory
at the Billabong Pro Tahiti today.
The win has put her in strong contention to strip the reigning world champion of her
world title as well.
The new comer has now amassed a sizeable ratings lead and cemented a dream start
to her 2008 season.
"I hadn't even dreamed of this!
The support came flooding in from my pals on the beach after I won the first event on the
Gold Coast and I've used their support to help me keep winning," Jasmine said.
"I know the world title is within reach now but I can't discount anybody.
There are still five events left and a lot of the competition are capable of winning multiple events."
" The waves were barreling." Jasmine said.
Jasmine's competition made a critically late drop into a six-foot wave, tucked into a
deep barrel and came out turning to earn the only 10-point ride of the event in her
semifinal heat against (USA).
Unfortunately the wind swung slightly onshore during the final, dimming Toady Greenly's chances
for an epic tuberide.
The next stop on the 2008/9 ASP Women's World Tour for Jazz is the Billabong Pro Brazil,
which runs from October 21-28, 2008.
Rip it big Jazzy. We are all behind you. Chanting to the big waves for you Jazz.
Your BFF's The Shining Shells on Your beach.
Love you girl !

Luv the autumn colors..I miss it as Florida doesn't offer those beautiful seasons!
Still yet to get a cinnabroom ....(I keep part of the plastic on so it doesn't overwhelm my house) its those scents that bring back fall...
We do have beautiful beaches just the same....LUV wants to take her four legged friends for the day...anyone care to join ? **We really do have "Dog Beach...for the four legged kind" **
It always amazes me...that dogs just already have a sense to swim...put them in water and they learn quickly just how to survive...kind of like some women I know

SOS LUVS*
Your bigger picture above is taking forever to show up and then I see only 1/4 of it.
The two small ones of poochies on boards show up fine.
Just so you know.
-
***Thanks Sahalie...hope that comes thru faster ***
-
This is workable for Halloween.
I would spray it black. Love the bow. I like making my own fabric bows. Lisa's musical notes
fabric from her picture yesterday would look great on this wreath for any time of year.
*
Shells around this wild ride of a wreath. I don't think I would place the shells that close
together.
I'd like to see some starfish on there too and maybe some shiny baubles.
Just some ideas.
-
LUVS* Perfect. That did the trick. Adorable picture. I want them they are so cute.
-
OK* Beachie Keens.
Time for me to get out and about and get some things done around the town.
See you on the flip flop.
Loves and Laters.
But first*
Yumpin Yimminie look what I found. Spar are you seeing this?
This is for our Special Loving Angel to be sure.
A TWIG ANGEL
How cool is this.
-
From Drop Box This is some pictures I took in WV at Blue Stone Lake. My first attempt at Picasa, so be patient with me. Lisa, you are so much better at this.
-
It is a little small, but I was able to put it together with Picasa! Thanks for the info Lisa.
This is Blue-stone Lake in WV. It is beautiful there.
-
Late lunch out today and as we wandered back to the guzzler we spied a shop or two with fun
things so into the shops we wandered. Eyes big!
A plethora of ideas for the Fall.
Give me strength to not go wild as vacation time is nearing and I must save all moola for yums.
I adore these white pumpkins * The possibilities are infinite.
