LIFE'S A BEACH!

This is what I tried to post when I got home yesterday but so rudely couldn't, very shocking.
Beach friends, we left before 6 this morning and just got home a little while ago. You guys were
so funny in my bag. The nurse shot in the dye and then said, I will be back in one hour. You guys all crawled out of my bag like a bunch of gremlins with the deck of cards. You started playing strip poker to amuse my while I waited my hour. When that poor nurse opened the door nearly all of you were naked and all jumped in my bag so fast, the nurse ask where all these extra clothes came from and I told her well look at me don't I look thinner, it was cold so I dressed like a bag lady and it got hot in here so I took them off and started stuffing them in my bag. As the nurse walked out the door I hissed at ya'll get them clothes back on! I could still hear ya'll giggling on the drive home and my husband kept asking me do you hear something?
this is me doing my happy dance.
Sahalie, my sweet sister that zucchine bread looks so moist and wonderful. I ate the green frog cookie. I got up at 2am an had to have a cup of hot chocolate.
Saint, loved those food pictures, they are so funny. Also had to get my DH in here last night to show him that happy dance from you. He is hilarious, he asked is that really her. LOL
Faith, the way to my heart is with trolls and gnomes and you have found some beauties and I wanted some of those chocolate bons bons so very badly. You were very naughty with that cabana boy.
Margo, did the laughing for those minutes help you feel even better. Hope you are 100% today.
Sige, where are you we miss your beach finds.
Jaz, you have got to be missing us just a little, are you painting or working? We miss you
Celia, love that green froggy smile, I ate Sahalies green frog and smiled at yours. Those last sand arts are amazing.
Dreamwriter, loved the fireworks
Biker, thank you for your support and caring and that happy dance.
Harley, thanks for being there and caring. You are a very loving person
Mary-Lou, thanks for the sand dollar, love that kind of stuff, shells, sea glass et. Hey, can you jump for joy that high in real life? LOL

SoCal, no, haven't downloaded Picassa3 - will have to check that out. Hopefully, I can figure it out - I seem to be technically challenged these days.
Faith, maybe I'll download Picassa3 and get those pics posted.
Celia, that last photo was funny...
Where's Jasmine been lately? I made her potato soup earlier this week when I was sicker, craved it.
-
Celia,
the melon ball is very simple to make, and delish, too!
1 shot of Midori melon flavored liquor...
1 shot of vodka
1 shot of orange juice
mix it up in a drink mixer, filled with crushed ice then pour into fun glasses, and drink up!
Julz,
It has cooled down considerably today, and it's nice... I guess soon the days will be short, and it will get dark early. That makes me sad!
Spar,
You are a very special friend of mine, and I am so glad that your tests all came out NED!! Your notes make me smile!! You are a very caring person, too!!
HUGS,Harley

Time to hang my flip flops up for the night. Hugs all around.

A very quick jog up the beach to say Hola to all our shining shells.
Melodic day elsewhere near the ocean with friends and family hiking the beach head trails thru thick brush and wildflowers perky from a light rain last night. We spread out an old table cloth and lunched on figs. grapes. saltines. various cheeses. wine. pellegrino. in glass jars for cups.
The air was clean and the breezes lilting just touching our faces and arms as we hiked further up the trail head to the point where we could look down into the town. A huge town flea market was taking place and naturally that was our point of destination. Priceless old cast off treasures just asking to be purchased and taken home to adorn the mantle. the garden. an old chair decor. the bath. the boudoir.
So we accommodated with gusto and are now back home cleaning and setting out our finds.
*
I wanted to come to the beach to once again tell Spar how very happy I am about her good news. Also to smile on each and every as we all enjoy this weekend as a gift to our lives.
Harley. Your melon ball drinks may have to accompany us next time in an old thermos. They sound so refreshing. Thanks for the recipe.
I need to make my way to some chocolate destination after viewing the chocolate truffles Faith posted.
Mary Lou your view over the beach as you quickly said hello to all. Is very pretty.
Julz. Sending XOXO to you by way of the ocean breezes. You are our heart filled compassionate caregiver to people who need you so very much. Bless you Julz.
H*U*G*S* to everyone !
I must go find "chocolate" and settle in.

Goodevening all beach friends. You know how they say one mans junk is anothers treasure. Well I found a treasure in the trash and am going to make something really cook with it, not sure what yet but here is a picture of it
an old flag holder wagon. My duck has been trying to eat my toes, I guess she thinks it is a worm, my husband has been bring her those huge green worms off of the tomatoe vines and she loves them.
I feels good to post but sure wish I had enough post to help with the newly diagnosed and help me through treatment but for now I am saving my 5 post for the beach and humor. I think I am going to have a cup of cocoa when I finish up here, have been craving it.
Oh YUM. My sweet husband cooked chicken fahitas for supper and we halfed one of those tiny seedless watermelons, it was so good.
I feel so good on the beach and the world is off my shoulders. My mom let me borrow her book on sea glass so tomorrow I will be reading up on that and maybe copy some pictures from it. I am beginning to feel the need to do something crafty. I have never walked the whole land we have, am going to walk it all tomorrow and see if I can find some flexible vine.
As far as my new house goes it is totally finished but we ran out of money so until we save for septic system which according to the person that tested the soil is going to cost us about $5000 and then the electrician and plumber so it is sitting there looking beautiful. Someday, but you know what I am still very happy because i will live to see it all done and move in eventually.
I don't like chocolate THIS well.
for our special angel. See ya on the beach tomorrow. nite nite

Spar, good to see you posting again but how come you can only make 5 posts a day?

Good morning beachie keenie-o kids, bunnies, babes, beauties, bears et. al.
What a gorgous day, here on my "beach"........... hope that your Sunday brings comfort, relaxation, giggles and wholeness -- in the midst of it all.
Some fruit for the journey:
Let's all trade our flip-flops today for some tennies and get some exercise:
and a-one, and a-two, and a-three, and a-four.
Hugs and juicy fruit to each and all......................

DW. Isn't writing so pleasurable.
Notes written down on blank paper. napkins. torn paper bag. anything to save our thoughts.
I love writing too. To answer your question* Lulu is Lulu.
Lisa. You are one gorgeous worn out tennis mama in your picture above.
I'd make that tennis partner treat me to lunch or a massage on the beach.
Don't let him off too easy. He's too yummy.
Faith. Thanks for the fresh fruits.
Hi All. It's warming up here on my Sand Dune Street.
We brought the good old white sheet out last night and hung it up between the two palm trees
by Fernando's house and watched the classic "Dial M for Murder"
My mom introduced those classics to me and I embrace them today.
What a fun time after hiking and ruffling through treasurely finds yesterday.
Fernando provided us with popcorn and Chi Chi's.
Now I need that walk on the beach.
