It sounds like you're in good spirits today, Sue.  I'm so glad that the doctor prescribed something for you.  I'm confident that it will help you dramatically.  I can't believe sometimes that I'm coping with the stress of this disease as well as I am.  I know I wouldn't be doing nearly as well without my little "magic" pill.

    Have a wonderful evening!

    Love and hugs,

    Karen

Hi SueSmile! And all of you animal lovers. Isn't it soo funny , the way we will do anything not to disturb our precious furry love ones as they sleep.  Gb , sorry to hear of your loss. I put my kitty down in July. My SO brought home a kitten last Wed.. I forgot how "active" kittens are. She cracks me up.

Oh Poppy , what a precious little dog!Laughing She looks like such a sweetie.

Sue , glad you saw your doc and got some meds. I don't take my xanax anymore , but I have some "just in case". Wow , your Dad sounds like such a wonderful and compasionate man. Yes , I too think you get a lot of your strengh from him. I think you are a very strong woman. You are just digesting your emotions of this journey you are on , and after you do that , you will stand even stronger.

Oh , lilly went to the doctor today. She got her first shot , de-wormed and soft-paws put on her nails so she can't tear up the furniture! I told her I was jealous , I haven't gotten my arcrylics back on yet and hers look so pretty!lol My SO just looked at me like I was crazy , I am.lol

Well I hope everyone has a good evening. And thank you all so much for your posts. I always come away with knowledge or hope or laughter or even tears. But this is always such a wonder experience here. xxx Melody

Honey, the tabs take a few days, so don't get discouraged, they don't act like an aspirin, as we are used to. It is hard to be patient, but keep saying, "Everyone loves me" to yourself, and don't let the evil uglies get to you tonight.

You are our English Rose, hugs, Shirlann

    Sleep well Sue and all--

Give all of your furbabies some soft hugs and kisses from me and Betsy!

To post a picture here, click on the little "tree" looking thing just to the left of the smiley face on the bar in the "add a comment" box, and paste in the url address of where the picture is located on the net into the url address in the box that pops up.  If you right click on the picture itself and choose properties, you will get the url--let me know if that is clear or I just made it more confusing. . .

LOL Jane...you are right on. The little "tree" looking thing is actually supposed to be a photograph of scenery to indicate a picture, I think, but I see a tree, too.Smile

This board is different than most and I was confused at first. I actually like it better because you can make the picture bigger or smaller after you put it in your message.

On Photobucket, you have a number of choices of links to copy. For this board, copy the one labeled "Direct Link", come back here, click on the little tree thingie, paste, then click "insert".

I don't know how other hosting services work, but to enter a picture here you have to use the basic URL without the [IMG] tags or any other special formatting.

Looking forward to more pictures here!

    Jane,

Thanks!! Yes, Delbert is a bloodhound, then there's Cody - my mixed breed that past on in the spring and Nellie my Cheasepeake Bay Retriever.

I love the look of disgust on your Betsy's face. And they say dogs have no personalities!!

Sue - I know you are fast asleep (at least I hope so) but I just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you and hoping your spirits lift with each passing day.

    I'll check back tomorrow.

Sue, gorgeous Sue, of course you feel down, scared and worried but you are doing well and your wonderful spirit is shining through. Every day you are closer to taking an active part in your treatment and right now you are healing and recovering from a big surgery. Big hugs.

I LOVE all the pet photos! What a character Betsy is! She is beautiful - should be on the catwalk! She has an aristocratic air but she is a kind soul, helping people to feel better - what a wonderful dog! And the darling King Charles - they are such affectionate, happy little dogs. And what a great photo of gorgeous trio on the coach - all curled up, the darlings. Melody - how wonderful - a new kitten! You are right - they are SO active - but they soon grow into more sedate adults. I want a dog and a cat but it's not the right time yet and I have to get the dog before the cat because I tried doing it in reverse once & it was a disaster! I want them to be good mates.

They are a pain the in the butt sometimes but we wouldn't be without them! (that goes for partners too)

    Love to you all

    Hello Everyone xx

Hope you're all doing 'OK' ..... All the pictures are beautiful...I WANT A DOG! .....

Well I have done zilch today really...been asleep again....went to the shop....I seem to be sleeping a lot lately...I dont think its too good for me as I tend to run off adrenalin...as of late I have not been adrenalised....if there ever was a word ...lol

My regular b/c nurse just phoned remember Claudia (I dont want to be in Claudias' club)...shes just come back from leave...she's so very calming....I of course did a bit of probing...and they didnt know it would be triple negative from the biopsy....there wasn't anything new..save to say she told me that she came across quite  a few triple negs and mixed varietys...so there was me thinking I was the only girl in Manchester...in fact the only girl in the UK (not really)........ I wonder whether she was being kind....It was also nice to hear that she would see me every year or every 2 years for mammo...yey ...every 2 years .....she has hope I will beat this......I will be still saying in ten years 'I dont want to die 'and have wasted 10 years worrying...this is the danger...I want to be normally new..I will have to train my head !

Eight days until I see Onc......I must say....I have monotonous thoughts of being sick for 6 months...so I am not in the least bit bothered by the wait...

One more day then its back to work for me.....I have no energySurprised Maybe it will kick start me....

    Have a lovely day xxxx

Thanks for the update, Sue. It's good to hear your melodious voice.

I have 2 dogs (Jack Russell, and Cocker Spanial) a Maine Coon cat, and a Gecko, or my kids do, which means I do. Wow.

Just wished to let you know I think of you a lot and continue to wish good thoughts across the Atlantic.

Glad to hear you'll see your workmates, and I'm sure you know to watch yourself.

Hope your boys are doing well. We turn back our clocks Nov 4 or so one hour.

Someday I'll get the right computer program on here.

    Fondly,

    Tender

..gosh we turned ours back a week before ...isn't it all confusing....I had to call my dad to make sure he did...one year he put his forward instead of back and ended up eating lunch at 10 am lololol...

Well everyone has a dog or two..Tender you have a lovely array of pets! xx I am wishful thinking for a dog...one day...I don't think Zippy will be too pleased, he gets too stressed and pulls his hair out at times....in fact I come down in a morning and its everywhere...lol...he has been a lot better since I have been off work...so there's one positive to b/c .....and a good one for us both! 'if you're happy I'm happy' as the saying goes...I will be rushing back from work to see him on Thursday and he will as ever be sat in the window waiting....lol...the thought stresses me out....I am sure he can hear me start my car 8 miles away when I leave work...

Well small talk is nice ...and I am at it again..but got a question..the tablets the GP gave me are making me feel bit sick ...How long does it take for that effect to settle down....I know its only been two days and I do so need them....If anyone is taking similar and could advise...

    Much Love xxx

Oh, Poppy! How frustrating. You followed the correct steps exactly. The only thing I can imagine is that you copied the direct link from your browser instead of the one beneath each picture. Beyond that, I am at a total loss! Could it be a gremlin in your computer?

Good to hear from you, Sue. Nausea is a very common side effect and should gradually go away over a week or so. If it stays bad, you may need to switch to a different one. Fingers crossed here!

Hey guys, all you need to do is e-mail TimTam (Fumi) she can get the pix on.  I gave up.  She does all mine.  I am trying to get a pix of me and my boys and husband (taken 15 years ago) I look awful now, and my Whippet on this site, it seems to cheer Sue up to see the pix of us.

Ah so, dear Darlin' Sue!  You sound better, of course you are not the only Triple Neg, silly goose, there are tons of us.

You are going to be an old lady and send flowers to my funeral.  So there, and then you will say, "By golly, Shirlann was right!"  I am going to be an old lady!

See, that is what is going to happen.

Now, if Fumi gets my Whippet's pix in, this is the story.  Whippets were bred first in ENGLAND for the poor people, since the wealthy would not let them have greyhounds, in fact, when the greyhounds were too old to hunt or race, they would cut their Achilles tendons so they could not be used by the poor folks.  Now, when they first began to come out in the poor neighborhoods of London, they were always Whippets, but also  called "Snap Dogs", since they took off so fast.  They can beat a greyhound in a short race.  SoOOOOO, (I am getting to the point) this is where the term "WHIPPERSNAPPER" came from as in, that little whippersnapper sure is fast!

So that is from me today, to our precious Sue, who I hope is sound asleep.

    Hugs, Shirlann
