Bumping the link to my website.
You can view the pics at www.cherylg.net
When they are first uploaded only I can vew and accept them to an album (ie Pinkstock) That's why noone could see them today
So feel free to upload any pictures you want the CGs to see and I will put them into appropriate albums. Remember to put a title or description so we know who's who
I would also like to add information, stories of inspiration and anything else that could be of use on our journies. Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated! I will soon be adding a blog feature too (once I get the picture centre under control)Please PM with anything you would like to see on the site.
    Love to all

Just tried to skim back sounds like yesterday was quiet the day.

Hope everyone is feeling better today.

i uploaded some pics for Cheryl to add to the pickstock folder so maybe they'll be there tomorrow.

Madison, I sure hope you daughter is starting to feel better. Food poisioning is no fun. and to feel this bad for this long is just not right.

I am saying an extra prayer for Cheri tonight. I thought they would admit her. Get better soon Mon Cheri

Update on Scooter he is home none the happier he had his head partially shaved and several stitches and a drain. the drain comes out on Thursday.

I saw urology finally about the blood in the urine. He said the kidney looks good but they need to go in and look at the bladder and utherers, (the tubes from the kidney to the bladder). So they will do that as outpaient surgery on the 23rd. They promised I'd be out in time for the appointment with my onc to get the results of the scans I do on the 22nd. I hope so!

Well I need to get off and give Scooter his antibiotics.
Hugs and prayers that everyone feels better tomorrow

Checking in on everyone before I turn in. I didn't take notes but I sure hope all the problems everyone is having settles down soon. Have you noticed that things seem to be going ok and then all of a sudden it is like hell breaks loose.

Odalys, I'll be two years out in a few days. My next check is in Oct - but know that it is going to be A-OK.

Shokk - the way I cough when I lay down at night, I think sometimes I have lung mets. It is unreal again. I've been so swollen at my ankles the last two days; makes me wonder what the Adria has done to my heart and I have been short of breath too. My echo's have been OK though.

Nicki, I cracked a rib a few months ago from coughing. Onc said that radiation has done a number on our ribs - something that radiation oncologist don't want to recognize. They have been seeing lots of bone problems related to radiation. Hope you feel better.

Christine hope they got your apt. cleaned and repairs started. How's the hand today - hope the pain has been minimal.

Robin- school and implants? You are stepping up and out girlfriend!!!

Jankay - thanks for your funnies - they do put smiles on our faces.

Susan - good luck. Sorry you are having to do this.

Odalys - no matter what having a caring sister makes any problem lighter.

Vicki, Amy, Jas, DebC, - where is everyone tonight.

Gina - Missing you too. I hope your eye is better. Tomorrow is a treatment day if all is Ok with labs. Is this the last Abraxane treatment? Should be close with you being through in October and having to do Cytoxan yet.
    Not there babes, but closer.

Colleen - don't think I can add a thing to what everyone has said. I definitely agree with the thought that at least you didn't marry him and then him be this kind of A hole~~~~

Puppy, hope you are feeling better - physically and emotionally.

Madison, I hate being a long distant mom too. Tammy will be having another C-section late Nov., early Dec. I'm 5 hours away and trying to decide when she wants me to come - to be here to take care of Lilah or when she comes home with the new baby - HARD, to darn hard. (MIL wants to be here too at some point)

Betty, well what a crappy way to tell someone the Board was giving them a little reward for their hard work. Time off with pay - they owe you lots more than that~~~~. Can't wait to meet up with you on Thurs. I'm excited - do we need to go "roll" your x-boss house????

I wish I had taken notes - Love to everyone from A-Z. Sending gentle hugs, prayers and blessings to all.

Oh my goodness, I just don't know what to say. I am so saddened to see so many sisters with serious problems today.

Cheri, Gina, Christine, Nicki and Beth I am sending love, hugs and prayers.

Betty, what a horrible ending, but at least you are done there.

Gina, thank you for the explanation. You are always ther with answers, and I appreciate that you take the time to do that.

Karen, I am so sorry you are having SE's with the new drug.

Marsha, how about a picture of your edgy self.

Robin, that is great that you are going to get implants. I am doing the expanders now, and so far I haven't had any problems.

Odalys, congrats on your good news.

CY, glad Scooter is on the mend. Good luck with that procedure.

Hugs all around, and sleep well my friends.

    Hey girlfriends….

Thanks for all the encouragement with my latest case of “canceritus”. I think several of you hit it right on the head saying I was over tired and that I will be fine. I still have my aches and pains, but I seem to have them back in perspective. I’m sure I will be just fine, not in any small part because I have all of you to keep me sane….well at least MOSTLY sane LOL

I am so sorry to hear about everyone’s rash of bad luck the past few days. Is it almost a full moon or something?? I am keeping everyone in my heart.

Things here are a whirlwind of activity. My oldest daughter starts high school next week (gulp!) and started cross-country running 2 weeks ago. The first meet was today and she did just fine. We go to the 4-H fair on Thursday and that lasts until Sunday evening. Then I go back to work on Monday…YIKES! The kids start school next Wednesday….can you say busy?

I need to get the dishes washed, load the camper for the fair and go help de-louse 3 chickens that are going to the fair. Who says I don’t lead a glamorous life? LOL

Hey everyone. It was so nice to hear Cheri's sweet voice on the phone tonight (yes Cheri I said sweet, because your voice is so sweet). I won't go into too much because I think she'll find out more definitive plans of action in the next day or so but that it is a serious bone infection as Jankay and Marsha posted. She's been having trouble getting on the boards but hopes to tomorrow. Her sense of humor is still in tact and with that and her family, including this one, she'll get through this! The gorgeous doctor and male nurse assistant will also help I'm sure!

Cheri - It was Soooo nice talking to you. You know you have to get better because we are all coming to your house for Pinkstock '08! I hope you got some good sleep finally. I'm still holding your hand and laughing at all your funny comments! I'll be checking in tomorrow girlfriend.

Jankay - Hope you're feeling well today. Funny funnies!

Vickie - ah well, your site was beautiful anyways.

Shirley - whoa, can they make those medical names any harder to pronounce?!

Colleen - So sorry about the whole ring situation. I think if you do return it though have him remove it from your middle finger, as someone else said. Have fun with Warren at the special breakfast event!

Melody - I'm glad you like the angels and thank you!

Nicki - Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about your rib. Your thoughts on why sound very plausible. Please take it easy. I will start doing the stretching exercises but this morning I couldn't even take my own shirt off! I'm doing better now, got some Darvocet from the PS for the bad days which seem to be even worse the day after the fill!

Marisa - did you hear from your friend on her Pet Scan?

Mandy - congrats on the picture upload! Glad I could help! I'm lucky to have mom here for a bit to help me with my baby and having my wonderful SO who does pamper me some. oh, what a nice hug pic!

Susan - Don't worry about the biopsy. We can all go with you. When is it scheduled for?
I'm not sure if you talked to Cheri but she's thinking she'll be there at least 2-3 days. She should know more tomorrow. (today, since it's after midnight now!)

Marsha - damn right about the margarita's!

Puppy - What a gorgeous angel!

Robin - glad you're going to be able to get the implants. that sucks about school though!

Elaine - how old is your son's girlfriend? Does she not have any family around?

Denise - Awww poor Phoebe. This is when you just wish your dog could talk to you isn't it?! I hope she breezes through surgery and gets better soon.

Lini - My PS is only doing 60cc's per breast each fill. Do you think I'd have less pain if I went every 2 weeks? Does that just delay the pain another week or actually lessen it?

Suz - Thank you so much! Weird how the pain is worse today than yesterday! I did manage to get some Darvocet though and it's much better than the advil!
I have a little one not even two yet and I already see the time flying by! Each year it just seems to go by quicker doesn't it!

Odalys - Congrats on the all clear! Now praying your sister hears the same.

CY - Hoping all your test results give you the all clear as well. Sorry to hear about Scooter.

Brenda and Betty - Enjoy your time together!

Deb - Enjoy being busy .. keeps your mind off of other crazy things! Congrats to your daughter for joining cross country running!

Well my urologist doesn't think I have an ureter junction obstruction but is sending me on Thursday for another test for Hydronephrosis. The procedure is a Nuclear Med Scan and Differential Function and Lasix Wash Out. This will show them whether or not there may be an obstruction causing urine to back up into my kidney. All this because of a scan looking for mets that I had back in April that showed a potential problem with my ureter and extra renal pelves. I have to drink 32 oz of water before the procedure .. luckily my appointment is at 9:45 a.m.!

I'm hoping that tomorrow things start looking up for everyone going through a tough time. This time of year is supposed to be fun and carefree .. yeah right! Wish we could all go back to those days....

Love and Hugs to everyone from A - Z

One morning a long-wed couple were in an amourous embrace and the wife says: "Honey, that Viagra is so wonderful, let me fix us a nice full breakfast... eggs, bacon, toast..."
The husband says: "No, I'm not hungry, the Viagra takes away my appetite."
Later in the day, the wife says: "Sweetheart, I want to do something for you, let me fix you a nice wholesome lunch, fresh salad with your favorite ingredients, steamed veggies, and some grilled fish fillets..."
The husband again refuses, "I'm just not hungry after using that Viagra."
Long about dinner time, the wife tries again, "Are you hungry yet?, I'll fix a steak and potatoes dinner with hot rolls."
The husband still refuses, "No, that Viagra just kills my appetite."
The wife then firmly says "well, I'm getting something to eat, so get OFF of me!!!"

97 year old man comes to his doctor looking depressed. He says "Doc, I think I'm impotent." Doctor sits him down and begins the standard speech he gives to senior citizens, about how as the body ages bodily functions slow down and it is completely normal to suffer some decrease in sexual desire. How the man shouldn't worry or become upset about it, but should just relax and things will probably be completely fine and blah blah blah. Finally the doctor asks "When did you first begin to think you were impotent?"
"Three times last night, and again this morning."

retired gentlemen went into the social security office to apply for Social Security. After waiting in line a long time he got to the counter. The woman behind the counter asked him for his drivers license to verify his age. He looked in his pockets and realised he had left his wallet at home. He told the woman that he was very sorry but he seemed to have left his wallet at home.
"Will I have to go home and come back now?" he asks.
The woman says, "Unbutton your shirt."
So he opens his shirt revealing lots of curly silver hair. She says,
"That silver hair on your chest is proof enough for me," she processed his application.
When he gets home, the man excitedly tells his wife about his experience at the Social Security office. She said, "You should have dropped your pants, you might have qualified for disability, too."

Morris, an 80-year-old millionaire becomes engaged to a beautiful 22-year-old model, Sherry La Rue. He goes to his doctor for a check-up a couple of weeks before the wedding date. The doctor looks him over and says,
"Morris, you seem completely healthy but I must tell you one thing."
    "What's that?", asks Morris.
"At your age, sex can be dangerous, and you need to watch it, take care as it could be really deadly" the doctor replies.
Morris thinks for a minute and then says, "What the hell, if she dies, she dies."

There was a young woman who lived with her grandmother. One night the granddaughter came bouncing down the stairs dressed to go out to a party wearing a see through blouse without a bra. Her grandmother told her to go back up stairs and "dress decent." The young woman said, "No, I want to show off my rosebuds" and went out the door.
The next day the granddaughter came outside to find her grandmother on the porch wearing the see through blouse without a bra.
    "Grandmother!! What are you doing?
My boyfriend and a couple of other friends are coming over any time now!" she cried.
"Please go change your blouse, I'm so embarrassed!!" The older woman replied,
"Well if you can show off your rosebuds then I can show off my hanging baskets."

Good Morning Everyone: This really has been a night from hell. Ive been taking 2 darvocet every 4 hours. I think I woke up every hour. Would have chills and start sweating profusely. My onc called me last night and he really doesnt know why Im breaking my ribs. He looked at my x-rays and bone scan from April and said no mets! No osteoporosis. Today Im going to see my PCP cause I cant take much more of this pain. There has to be a reason for why keep breaking a rib. This time is bad, cause I can feel my whole rib cage shift! My onc also said it couldnt be from the surgery and treatment weakening my rib cage. He said he has never seen that. Well my husband says, with my luck, I could be the first.

Jankay: I did feel you tweaking my toes this morning, was just slow getting out of bed.

Charlene: I took my time with my fills. I didnt do weekly. Do the stretching exercises when your not have pain - in between the fills - and see if that works.

Gosh we al are just having so many issues right now. Wonder if its something in the air. The closure of summer and beginning of Fall. All I know is soemthing is going on.

Brenda: He is the weird thing. I didnt have rads! They sad I didnt need them after a bil. mast. So although that was good thinking it doesnt apply to me. This is really making me crazy.

Odalys: Good luck with you DS biopsy tomorrow. One step at a time.

Suz: I know its ridiculous. When I was at the oncs office I felt good - everything was fine. I had a one piece undergarment on and had a hard time pulling it over my head. I think thats what started this whole thing.

Betty: One time I gave my job 4 weeks notice. They treated me like I was fired. Stool there and watched me pack my office and didnt let me say good bye to anyone. Just put it behind you - better days are coming.

Did I miss a tuck in post from Vickie? Where are you sunshine sister?

I must go back and lay down. Cant stand the pain. See ya all later.

    Good Morning Friends!

It must be something in the air. I don't like seeing so many of my friends having so many problems. Blessings and speedy healings to all.

Also seems to be alot of girls missing lately. I'm one of these people that reads between the lines and worries over nothing, worries over other peoples worries, worries when I have nothing to worry about. So please don't make me worry anymore!!

Vickie: I visited your my space last night! Great job! Makes me wish we were all right back at PinkStock! Miss not having you tuck us in at night.....big pout.

Nicki: OMG Friend......glad you are going to the PCP today. There has to be a reason.........but what is it? No Rads, so that kinda shoots that theory down. Hope you feel better soon and let us know what the PCP says.

Deb: Oh what a Glamorous life you have!!!! Chickens, Bears and 4H! I used to love 4H with my kids. Enjoy your weekend and I'm glad you are feeling better emotionally!

Charlene: I'm not even going to attempt to repeat and spell the medical terms I 'tried' to pronounce!! I swear, Docs go to a special school of termonology and then hold contests to see who can come up with the longest, scariest words for things!! Wouldn't it be nice if a Doc would just say, "Charlene, Your Pee is backing up into your Kidneys, gonna run a tube up ya and see why." All kidding aside, I'll be thinking of you and let us know what you find out.

    Be back in a few!

    Hi

    Peter!!! Yay
My friend's pet scan was good except her pelvis lit up which they think if from ovarian cysts caused by tamoxifen - they're doing an ultrasound this week and are leaning towards ooph - she's had probs like this before and it's time to get them out..thanks for well wishes everyone! Hopefully it will be nothing serious and she'll heal quickly.

Hello sisters and Peter (yeah, so happy to see your post)

Well, I called in sick today. I am so tired...

    image

Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful to be doing so well and with so much work when other are struggling with both. The problem is that I have been placed in a position at work I'm not sure how much longer I can take. It's not easy commuting between two facilities, managing over 100 employees, dealing with so many problems daily, and working over 40 hours a week. My body can't keep up like it used to. I enjoy a challenge but not 100 challenges a day. Also, my body feels so achy from the Femara and Zoladex shots. As if all this wasn't stressful enough, DH's nephew is visiting us from out of state. Yikes!!! Sorry for venting. I think I better go back to bed.

Okay, Doggies at the Pet Hospital and should be in that drug induced sleep by now.......they said they will call in a couple of hours and let me know how she is.

Shokk: Dang girl....you need to disconnect that phone during working hours!! Don't they understand that we come first!!

Boo: Glad to see that you are back! Hope you had a great vacation!

Marisa: So glad to hear that your friends pet scan went well. If the U/S shows anything than the ooph should be the way to go. Please give her hugs and keep us posted.

Margaret: Hey to you! Still waiting for that box to appear on my door step with the personal trainer in it!!

Beth: Thinking positive thoughts for you today. Hope all goes well and you can get back on the right track.

Puppy: How ya doing? Things settling down some for you? Thanks for letting us know that Beths DH will call and keep you updated on Beth.

Pam: Looking all over and not finding you.......Where oh Where are you hiding? Don't make me come to Georgia! Just ask Robin....I will track you down!

Robin: Perky till 90! I love it..........one of the few advantages to BC! You can have those new girls as big and perky as you want!!!! How come you're back in bed? Do you feel okay?

Trisha: Always good to hear from you! Glad that all has gone so good for you! You are a true inspiration for girls starting this journey!

JanKay: I see you were up early and tweaking toes this morning! I think we have some more girls who need their toes tweaked!!

    Cheri: Thinking of you and saying a little prayer. I might give you a little call this afternoon! {{{{hugs}}}}

Shirley: When are you coming home? I know you are where you have to be, and I hope the family is doing okay, but we do miss you!

    Marsha: HELLO.........Anyone home?

    Liz: ECHO the above.........HELLO..........Anyone home?

Madison: How is your DD? I'm thinking of you and DD and praying that all is well soon. I'm gonna pm you something in a jiffy.

Shirley: Back again....forgot to say that I totally agree with you. We need to rewind the tape and go back to Pinkstock.

Lini: I hate that "look" that the Docs give! Sad, but we can read them like a book. Before I totally embarressed myself by asking a 'inappropriate' question to my Gyn we used to laugh cuz I always caught the "look" and asked what was up. Sorry you had a meltdown at the PS.....it happens and somehow can refresh us emotionally!

Peter: Nice to see you popping in! Your pics and concern mean alot to us.

Odalys: We will be with you and your DS tomorrow for her biopsy. Prayers are being sent and if we can do anything please don't hesitate to ask. At first when I saw your post about bullshit this morning I thought how true that is. Now I wonder if something is wrong............remember me, the worrier! You okay?

MB: Sure, I'm up to a BBQ at your house! The question is, Is your house ready for a BBQ this weekend!!!! What a remarkable weekend!

Kristen: Busy at work........sucks when they don't allow board time. My next job, I'm having that written in the contract..........won't ask for much just 15 minutes per hour! Music, Music, we want Music!

Cy: Yuckers to you...........outpatient surgery on the 23rd. and a scan on the 22nd. Sounds like you've got some of the same stuff going on that Charlene does. You are one strong cookie........and will be fine!

    Be back in a bit!
    Hugs,
    Denise
