Gina, I think the other site was so we don't over load BCO with all the pictures from pinkstock. Juts think there were what 16 or 18 of us plus SO's taking pictures, Thats a lot of pictures. I know I had more than 300 pictures on one camera not to mention the video camera and the one we used at the Falls. BCO will never be replaced we just don't want to bogged them down with all the pictures.

We are quickly approching the 1 year mark for the Wagon Circle.
I have to tell you all that this circle is one of the few places I have felt truly comfortable. It was formed shortly after I finished active treatment the first time. and has been a lifeline for me. I don't have much to keep me busy other than family and work and other than them the circle has been my biggest and only other support group.
From the heart I can truely say YOu are my sisters and have made me whole. Thank you for being there for all of us may the circle never be broken.

Cheryl what wonderful words. I totally agree. I know that I can come here with any problem I have and I have a wonderful family to support me. I don't usually verbalize my concerns etc. to my family. Here I know I can do that. I am so grateful for BCO.

Cheri - you take care of you. Tell Amber if she needs something or needs to talk she can call me.

    Goodnight everyone

I am so grateful to all of you. I cannot express what you all mean to me. Yes, Amber is being scheduled for a biopsy. I am praying hard for pre-cancerous cells. The biopsy will tell much. I just hate that she has to go through all this. I thank you all for putting her in the circle and sending prayers.

Oh geeze. My leg. Well now, that't a complicated story between talking to all these dr.s. My regular dr here called and talked to my old infection control dr. and he said he needed an ortho to tell him about the surgery and etc. He's afraid with it still oozing that it's either gone to the hardware or bone. So he told my md this and so my md calledtl....you know, I'm just gonna cut to the chase here, the bottom line is that my dh and I are fetting up in the night and leaving about 2 A.M. to go to Iowa City which is where my surgeon wants to see me and may be hospitalized or maybe let the infection guy handle it down here if it's not gotten real bad. But I talked to the dr in Iowa and he said rather than try to get up to the ER there tonight, late morning would be soon enough. They may have to do another surgery, crap! Susan called me and I had just gotten home and in between dr calls. She said something, i can't even remember what but i got the 'giggles' and i could NOT shut up! I tried, I just remember looking down at my leg propped up in front of me and thought of how it looked like a bear had been gnawing on it, has 2 holes and nasty ooze coming out and it's so swollen it just shines like ice, I can't even get my camboot on. The urgency is what frightens me. Anyway, back to my laughing jag, it was like a dam burst. I just couldn't quit giggling at the absurdity of the whole day. Life in general. I may have hurt Susans feelings and I apoligized cos it was nothing personal, whatever she said didn't matter i just lost it.She had to go abruptly, so Suzola if you're reading this, it wasn't you. I'll try and call you. Nothing personal. The stress is just getting to me. Janny just called. This is such a caring, loving group and I love you all so much. Thanks for putting me in the middle of the Circle. And some of you knew my leg was bad, I guess i just stuck my head in the sand and thought surely no more was going to happen. I could tell by the way you wrote. Well, I'm rambling. Thank you for everything. All of you. I could sure use some big old prayers. Amber will be in contact if they keep me, plus , I'm taking her laptop with me.I know if it comes to surgery again, you will be holding my hand. I appreciate you all.

    Your Friend,
    Cheri

    OH CRAP CRAP CRAP CHERI!!!!!

I hope you can get this fixed without surgery! But if they have to go in there- well you don't want the hardware to get messed up.

Girls, do you think we should tell her?

I guess everything is left to me.

Cheri, the other night you had a few too many blue rinks, and we heard a really strange noise coming from your wagon. We had to wake up Deb because she has the shotgun. By the time we got there - well-

YES! A bear WAS chewing on your leg!

    Deb shot him.

So when you go up to Iowa you might want to mention this to the docs.

(Just tryin to make you smile)

I will be praying really hard for you. We will be waiting anxiously to hear how you are doing.

Have a safe trip and HEAL and COME BACK HOME!!!

    Love,
    g

oh Colleen...let Gina write you a letter...she's good at that...believe me! Want me to come there and give him a piece of my mind and throw a few water bottles. I still say I'd sell the ring on ebay and go shopping! No way would I give it back without a fight now. What an ass (as in Mazer you know LOL).
    love
    Vickie

Oh...looks like CherylG did a Pinkstock site for everyone to upload pictures too. Don't know if you can blog there or not but I will take the myspace one down so there will be no confusion. I'll upload my pics to my personal myspace too so you can all see them there if you are on my "list".

Just read your initial post and had to stop reading to let you know I echo what the sisters have already said. A stage 3 pap is NOT the same as a stage 3 breast cancer. Please don't let your mind take the better of you. Glad she is having a biopsy.

If it's any comfort, when I was in my twenties I had a stage 3 pap also. I had minor surgery in the doctor's office and have not had a problem since. I hope this is the same for Amber. You are both in my prayers. God Blessings.

I talked with Cheri a little bit ago and she was holding up pretty good. I'm glad she plans to take Ambers lap top so if they do decide to keep her she can still stay in touch with us.
I haven't been on too much this last week because of this darn head cold. that and allergies!
Our cat Scooter decided to getinto a fight with something ( with think a oppossum or racoon) while we were gone and so we've put the dreaded cone on his head and been cleaning it since we got home. since he doesn't feel good and has to be inside he like to lay on me. I'm allergic to cats!
We'll we had to take him in to the vet he has to have surgery cause it got infected and doesn't look good at all. They are keeping him over night and we'll check on him tomorrow. But maybe I can sleep tonight!

I have to tell you all I had more energy than I've had in a long time while we were at Pinkstock! I think it was all the good vibes coming from all of you.

Gina, how are you doing with the abraxane! I started feeling the aches this week. I don't know how you do it without pain meds. I do #11 on Wed.

CY, sorry you are fighting allergies.....and your cat has to have surgery. Animal bites tend to get infected, but usually are treated successfully.

G, love it....yep Deb got that nasty ole bear. Seriously, hope you are feeling better

Cheri-you are surrounded by your sisters...we love you and we are here for you

Vickie, if those white coats didn't come to get you, Liz and I at the Hampton Inn.....then I think you are safe....have a great evening

Just spoke to daugther....still having trouble keeping anything down.....if it doesn't improve by Wednesday they will hospitalize her again.....I told her I am baking the biggest batch of cookies ever to send to all her airman family for helping her...they have been checking on her all day and one of her wingmen (female) will spend the night with her so she won't be alone.....

Colleen, some cities have attorneys that do pro-bono work...see if there is a listing in your area.. This is not legal advise....but there are times when the defendant is cast for court costs (and perhaps the plaintiff's attorney fees) if the plaintiff wins the case. Has the suit been filed? If so, have you been served? If not, can you go down to your courthouse and do a search of the public suit records to find out if he has filed a suit..(there is usually someone that can direct you to the area where the records are kept)..Perhaps, it is as Gina said..........he is bluffing. Good luck!!

Hummmmm, Mandy-better not lick the computer screen...sounds kinda dangerous

Gotta run, DH trying to hook up the other computer so we will have 2 up and running in the house....

    Hugs from A to Z

Again, Cheri-the magic carpet will accompany you on your trip.......we'll be with you

    Good evening ladies,

    I need a little help.

A dear friend was diagnosed today with moderately differentiated ductal carcinoma. She doesn't have the full pathology report yet. She has a lumpectomy scheduled for next Wednesday. I have encouraged her to come here, but she is still sad/mad/numb.
I am having trouble finding info for her.
I know this thread is not about these kinds of questions, but we have so many people here, I figured someone could point me in the right direction.
I can't figure out if it is DCIS, or IDC.
    Thank you in advance,
    Tricia

    Collen,
I've done a lot a thinking over the issue with Tim and the ring. I know in a lot of sates if you broke off the engagement then you would rightly owe him the ring, but if he broke it off all he could do is ask for it back and it would be up to you. I agree with Madison, call and ask some questions about it maybe a law office somewhere can tell you what your state says about it.
    good luck

I just wanted to assure Cheri that we got that pickin' bear that was chewing on her leg. It was just a scrawny black bear with a mean temper. I’m sure the doc can get you fixed up in no time…heck, you are tougher than any old bear…Oh, and I don’t believe Gina for one little second that you would have had too many blue drinks….Now, bleu rinks…THOSE you might me inclined to have too many of...

Just trying to make you smile Cheri. I am sure this has been an awful day, and I wish there was more we could do. Hang in there. Let us know what we can do and how you are doing. We are storming heaven with prayers for good results all around for you and your DD.

We had record heat here today. It was officially 78 degrees today, breaking the all-time high. That seems cool after 96 degrees while we were in New York.

Cheri: Laughter is good medicine! You go for it girl! Praying for you and knowing you will win this infection! Geesh, when are you going to learn to listen to all of your BIG SISTERS when we tell you something?!?! JK!

Gina, I'm glad you finally told Cheri what happened to her leg! Man, if she could have seen Deb flying down the circle in her nightgown swinging the rifle...........poor bear didn't have a chance!

Colleen: Sounds like Mr. Tim is trying to scare you into giving the ring back! Lilly livered ass....or is it livered lilly ass? Okay, whoever came up with the saying step forward and help me out!
I'd contact an attorney (free consultation) and just ask him the rights and who would have to pay costs. Possibly Legal Aid could help. There has got to be an attorney somewhere on these boards. Then, let Gina write you a letter.....stand back Mr. Tim.........when you mess with one of our Sisters.......the posse will come through!

Vickie: Glad you had a Good Birthday..........You need to go find that Doctor and Slam Dunk him! Need Help?

Madison: Wow, she does have a dose of it. Praying she starts bouncing back soon. Where is she? Far away from you? I'm thinking Georgia.......am I close?

Okay, Viggo............WTH! We have Mandy licking computers, Vickie hot flashing and Charlene sharing him with someone. Now, whoever mentioned old men in speedo's, I can relate to that scene.........(puking here....)
Well My dears, I'm going to take my Biggo back of Jiggo's and go to bed and maybe dream about Viggo!!!!

    Hugs to all,
    Denise

p.s. You guys are confusing me about adding websites and changing websites and taking websites off with PinkStock. All I want is a Nice, EASY place where I can look at all the pictures!

    Hi CG's
I had so many posts to catch up on and only was only able to take a few scribbly notes, so bear with me and If I missed someone, you know you are in my heart.

Nicki- Thanks for bringing up the anniversary name list, it is amazing to see almost, if not all are still here and active. Hope you are still keeping up with the swimming.

Madison- I am curious about what is going on in your life???
I am sorry to hear about your dd and hope she is feeling better. PM me with any news...

Deese- so good to see you! Give Carrie a big hug and tell her to hug you too!

Liz- so glad your bathroom is done, I wanna be added to the list of those awaiting your services.

Choca- can't wait to see your pics, I gotta tell you one of your kisses fell of my purse and melted in the car, so I think of you daily.

Cheri- you have got to know, my prayers are for quick healing for you and only good news for Amber...don't waste today worrying about tomorrow. You will be there for her, as she is for you.

Hey Wild/Jan- I saw Tiger play with Hootie & The Blowfish at a Monday After the Masters Pro/Celeb tourn- He is awesome. I am jealous, you were there.:)

OK- so here is my news, for anyone thinking they had a crappy day, laugh along with me at mine and you will feel better...
At 3am, my upstairs tenants called to say their bedroom was being flooded (from the storm?) at 4 am, my bedroom was also flooded. At 7am, the roofing man called and was coming at 9:30am, but I had a mammogram and chest x-ray at 10:30, how could this be happening when I was already nervous? Well, my flat roof had blown off, a 1/3 of the way and knocked off my sattelite dish, so no good TV for me. I would need a new roof because of this storm and the interiors would need to be sealed and repainted.
So far they say the mammogram looks like no changes in the past yr, but the rad would not see them until later and they would let me know for sure later. Then...
I cam home, started to do dishes and cut my hand on a glass, off to the emergency room. They fast tracked me, so I was in and out in 2 hours, but 13 stitches later..ouch!
I shoulda stayed in bed today, but I woulda missed all of the excitement and attention,LOL!
Over $1000 in homeowners and medical deductibles in one day!

Colleen - I would say Lilly Livered ass is about the nicest thing I could call Tim. My Uncle that is a trucker has a string of curse words about 3 lines long that includes several anatomical reproductive impossibilities and references to his heritage and penis size that I can't print here, but use your imagination....

This man...and I use that word loosely here...is not worthy of you. Stick the ring in the bottom of your sock drawer and say it has been lost, then if he has the chutzpah to take you to court show up with all your friends in tow to show him up as the scum he is. Hell, tell the judge that he gave you a zircon fake and make him prove he didn’t!

I guess I wouldn’t really lie in court, but man, I would look for every way possible to show him up as the heel he is. I bet he has no plan to really take you to court…he would look like such a jerk! If you have not been served with papers, I would bet he got some buddy to write the letter. I bet for every case that says he is right there is one saying you can keep the ring.

Grrrrr…I hate men who are weasels…

    Hugs to you

    Good evening sisters,

Wow my daughter has high speed internet - I could get used to this!!!

Liz, glad the bathroom is finished. Madison sorry to hear that your daughter is still not better. Hope you have better news tomorrow. I know, even though she is getting lots of TLC from her friends - it isn't the same.

Nicki - what is the test they are going to do on you and your sister? Has this happened to you before to have an elevated count??

Christine - what a day!!!! Did they get your bedroom dried out? Sounds like you have an ugly cut to get 13 stitches.

Cheri, just know that while Deb was coming to get that bear, well, some of the gals were sitting around and we were eating a honey/butter biscuit as our late night snack. They all scattered fast - we laughted later and couldn't decide if it was because of that bear or Deb coming to get the bear. Annie Oakley - yes, that's her name - she is good. We saved our honey/butter biscuits too!!!

Seriously, you and Amber are in the circle. We have all brought our blankets closer to the fire and we are keeping both of you safe. There is lots of love here and some are still having silly smiles and giggles about their Pinkstock adventures. We'll make sure you are up at 2 but the fire is soothing to all the stress of today. We have a large circle tonight and many have been put in the center. The night air is cool but love warms the circle.

    Hugs, Brenda

I have finally finished reading all the posts since last Wednesday - i think 16 pages. I have so many pages of notes, I hope I can keep up. If I leave you out please forgive me as it is not on purpose.
Robin - congrats to both you and your daughter on going back to school.
Marsha - how did the doctor appts go? All the best to you with the new PS on the 20th. I sure hope he sees your point of view and agrees to do the surgery.
Anne- will be thinking of you with all your doctor appt.
Betty - glad to hear that you are almost done with the job and have health insurance. take the time you need to find the right job.
Nicki - what an interview!! I haven't been on an interview in 14 years and plan to stick it out where I am at. Not crazy about my boss, but don't want to start over. Counting the years till I can retire.
Odayls - hugs to you and your sister. Sending good wishes for B9 results.
Gus - I saw in a post that you were thinking of getting a Bernese Mountain Dog. We have two - they are litter mates -Charley and Rosey - two years old. They are the sweetest dogs ever. Ours are big - Rosey weighs 88# and Charley is over 110#. They have been blowing their coats all summer, but they are wonderful dogs. Also saw that you graduated to annual vists with the onc. That must feel good.
Puppy - glad to see you posting again.
Z - hope you had a good weekend. I got my dedication in the mail last week. Thank you so much.
Amy - how is school going for your son.
Christine - I will get the cookie recipe to you.
Beth - sorry to hear about the staph infection.
Sheri - hope DH feels better soon. Two weeks is a long time to be sick.
Lini - of course we will look out for your son. Isn't this what the CG is all about. How are you doing?
Madison - so sorry to hear that DD is still so sick. Sure hope she gets better before they have to put her back in the hospital. I'm sure it is hard to be so far away.
Margaret - did you go to the doctor for the bladder infection.
Odalys - love the survival kit - reminded me of the one you sent me.
MAndy - welcome home from vacation
    Deese - welcome
Tricia - hugs to your friend and to you too. I just hate hearing when someone else in Dx.
Colleen - take Gina up on her offer to write the letter for you. How is Warren feeling. I bet you are happy to have him back home.

It is so hot - in the high 90's I think it got to 97 today. 95 tomorrow. The AC in DH office (he has a home office) is not working well. He is so frustrated. Needs to get it checked out. The unit is only 6 or 7 years old. It seems like there is always something to fix. Last month it was big repairs on Noah's car. Now e need to replace the carpet in the living/dining room - it is 14 years old and it so stained and our old dog peed on it when we were gone and it smells.. Craig went looking at laminates at an outlet today and found something he really likes at a good price - but installation will be pricey. Also going to have the room painted - it hasn't been painted since we moved in 14 years ago. I'm afraid it will then make other rooms look shabby, but no money in the budget. Kitchen also needs painting but that will have to wait. So we have to take all furniture out of the living/dining room. I can't move anything heavy, so Noah will have to help him. So I need to take everything off the bookself and the china cabinet. Naoh is getting his wisdom teeth pulled on Thursday so Craig and Noah will have to move everything before then.
Our sweet Rosey has pink eye. Craig called me at work to tell me that her eye was swollen shut. he was so worried. Our dogs are really our children. Vet gave her eye drops. Also gave meds for our old dog to help with her dementia!!!

My dear Cheri - BIG HUGS to you and your dear Amber. Sending my wishes that both you and hear are just fine and dandy - that her biopsy is B9 and that you don't need anymore surgery. Know that you are so loved by the CG's
Vickie - its late and you might be in bed by now, but sending you b'day wishes. I am so happy that it was such a good day for you. Wishing you 46 more b'days!!
Gina - how are you feeling today? How is the eye. How is the leaky expander doing? Do you have a surgery date? How are your blood counts?
Don't know how some of this post has gotten all mixed up, but I am just going to leave it as I am afraid of loosing it if I try messing with it.

Well I have now been on the Aromasin for 6 weeks and the side effects have kicked in. Knees hurt if I sit for too long or kneel down and knuckes are hurting. Left arm goes to sleep if I lay on it. Insomia is getting worse again. LAst night I took 75mg Trazadone and was still awake 1 1/2 hours later!!! I've been on the Effexor for a couple weeks and I know it is helping, but I can't cry on it. That is one of the reasons I stopped the last time. I'm only on 37.5mg DH wants me to stick it out. He says with time I should be able to cry again. In some ways, I don't "feel". Does anyone else have this problem? Also, is anyone else thirsty all the time. I seem to always be thirsty. I drink over gallon of water most days. don't comsume any caffeine.

Well enough about me. Sending hugs to all the sisters going through hard times. To Tracey, Shokk, both Brendas, Amy, Kristin, WildJan, Shel, PAm, Alwayshope, Jankay, Shirley, Margaret, Suz, the other Karen, Angel, Carrie, Pam, Iris, Betty, Tgirl, Deb, Emelee, Bikerjan, Denise, Theresa, Z, Anne, Cy, BooSue, Mena, and all the other wonderful girls (and peter) here at the CG - wishing you feel good days, good test results and sending big hugs from Denver. Sleep tight. Karen

    CHRISTINE! OMG! What a day!!!
I hope you have a dry place to sleep tonight!
    Keep your stitches dry too!

OK Colleen- I looked up Mass law and there are cases that do say that an engagement ring is a conditional gift and if the condition is not met, ie marriage, then the donor can get it back.

However: you two were together for many years right? You shared a residence and you shared expenses. But he was living in YOUR home. And you were supplying him with a place to live. Common law dictates that after such a long scenario of living almost as a married couple would make that ring community property. And you kept wanting to get married and set the date and he kept putting it off- RIGHT? REMEMBER??? And then you got cancer and suddenly he wanted out- RIGHT? REMEMBER???
And then one fine day, he packs his things and says he is leaving you- can't take it anymore. And that he wants you to keep the ring. RIGHT? REMEMBER???

And then you sold ME the ring for $149. RIGHT? REMEMBER????

So there is NO RING for him to get back because I lost it in that terrible rain storm that washed my house away.

Oh well, Tim. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose and sometimes, it rains.

Christine! OMG!!! I'm glad you are laughing, but damn-sam...that sounds like just about enough crap for you to deal with! One of the only times I ever thought I was going to faint was when a roommate cut his hand washing the dishes...the blood spread in the dishwater and it looked like a flood of blood. He had his hand inside a glass when it broke and the cut was BAD...I can STILL remember how queasy I was and it was not my hand....I hope you got some good pain pills…ouch! At least tomorrow HAS to be better than today…..

Hang in there girlfriend….Maybe the workmen that come to fix the roof will be cute…..

    Thank you in advance,
    Tricia

    Tricia,
Moderately differentiated means an intermediate grade. Poorly differentiated is the worst kind. That means the pathologist couldn't differentiate between the cancer and the healthy cells. Well differentiated means there is a clear distinction meaning the cancer is very slow growing.

So MODERATELY differentiated means it was growing at not overly fast rate and not overly slow rate.

It is a good thing. It is better than poorly differentiated.

    I hope this helps!

    CY- #11! GOOD LUCK!!
I have been taken off the Alleve too- because of the bleeding in my eye they are only allowing me tylenol for the pain. I hope you get some relief my friend!

Cheryl! You showed my car in pink!

Hi Karen! So good to hear from you! Expander is still leaking- and now my eye is bleeding into my nose. I am like a sprinkler!

Cheri, I wanted to pop back in to tell I am sending special prayers for a bear-bitten leg to heal quickly.

    Hugs to you and Amber.

Ya'll make me laugh. The bad times seem better.
The roof guy that came to inspect this am, was cute and smelled so good. I loved his cologne. He was a lil too good boy looking for me, maybe one of the workers will fit?

Sleeping on the couch again, until the insurance adjusters are here. I am going to watch the last season of Weeds, since I am only getting a few local channels without my dish. That'll make me laugh too.
Love ya'll thanks for the smiles
