Cheri - just got a chance to pop in and read. Oh my - praying that they will be able to give you some IV antibiotics and will not have to do surgery on your leg. Prayers too for Amber. You both are in the center of the circle.

Vickie - Happy Birthday. I used to hate birthdays - now I really want to celebrate them. Can't believe a doc would tell anyone that based just on a mammo. Wishing you many, many more.

Madison - it must be so hard being so far away from your daughter when she is sick. Praying that she will feel better tomorrow.

Christine - it is the 13th - not Friday, but the 13th and you got 13 stitches! Ouchy wa wa! You must have had some storm. Hope you have a comfy couch.

Karen - so sorry you are having side effects from the Aromasin too. I was really hoping that this one would be the one for you.

Denise - how is your doggy?

I had a much longer post but forgot to copy before I submitted and got the invalid thingy - grrr. Had the above copied previously so at least did not lose everything.

I know I have missed many but too tired to think right now.
Sweet dreams to all from A to Z.

    Love and hugs,
    Suz

Good morning my friends. I haven't been able to read everythng but i got the picture. You all rallied around and what a wonderful feeling that is. I appreciate you holding my hand today as I am going to need it. I'm calmer now. I hardly ever lose control and i rarely cry. Wished I was a crier I think I would feel better to get it out. I do hate those "church giggles" like i had earlier with Susan where I just cannot shut up. Like a kid in church when you know you're going to get in trouble but that just makes it worse.
My dh is sleeping and i let him sleep a little longer, I've been up all night cos I can sleep on the way up there. I don't want to go but I am an adult (that sucks) and once again, I will do what I have to do. Whatever saves my life is the route I take. I've said serious prayers. I will be holding my friends hands. Thank you, girls.

    Good Morning,

Cheri, you and Amber are in my prayers. After reading all the posts, I won't add much more than that. But I'm sure glad Deb was there with her shotgun.

Christine, what a day you had. I second hope for cute roofers. You got to get something good out of the day.

I got my Baptist grass cut yesterday, so now the lawn looks decent again. And it's so hot here that I don't think it will grow for a while.

Colleen, too bad NS lost that fake ring. Guess Tim is just flat out of luck. Serves him right.

Karen, I thought it was just me...I can't cry either. I've been on Arimidex for a little over 2 years. I have an onc appt on Thursday and will ask her about that. I felt so much better last month when I got to go off it for 2 weeks. Guess we'll be discussing my options then, also.

I have 3.5 days left. Yippee. Actually, I have less than that. That appt. on Thursday means I use a little of that sick time I've accumulated.

    Cofffee cup is empty...oh my.

Have a great day everyone. And Cheri, just look out your car window and wave to all of us on the carpet. Wonder if we can beat you to Iowa.

    Hugs,
    Betty

Good Morning Everyone: We are having a thunderstorm in the Chicago end of the circle this morning. But its a gentle one, just thunder is the distance. Having to leave for work early is going to drive me crazy. I really hate road construction.

Colleen: I dont know anything about law and courts. Im thinking what if you had sold that ring months ago. What would he do? I have always believed that an engagement ring was a gift, that need not be returned. What did bother me was his letter to you. "Right and proper, Conscience, tasteless?" He must have been standing in front of a mirror and looking at himself. He surely is a jack ass. Did he not move out while you were away, having you and your son come home to an empty house? Did he not take the dog with him, making the loss even harder. I guess he thought that was the "right and proper" thing to do. He broke 2 hearts and didnt have the guts to even tell you in person. Does he have a "conscience." And then to send this nasty letter to you. I guess in his mind that was the tasteful thing to do. He sounds like he is a big mean bully and that you would have had a terrible life with him. Is there anywhere that you can get free legal advice? I mean, what if you got so angry you threw the ring in the garbage and didnt have it anymore. Would a court of law make you give him money? Something doesnt sound right about this MA law. Sometimes law is a matter of interpretation. If I were you I would try to get some free legal advice before you decide what to do. This guy deserves nothing. He is a subhuman being.

Cheri: Gosh darn it all! I knew exactly what was going on with your leg. See things like this everyday when I go out and evaluate people. I wish I was more forceful in my posts to you. Your gonna need some strong IV antibiotics. I have also seen people respond well after treatment. They might have to remove the hardware, but the immediate concern is the infection. Dont want it getting into your blood. So take care sweet lady, another bump in the road for you. Hoping all goes well.

CY: So sad to hear your cat needs surgery. My animals are my family.

Christine: Oh my lord what a day from hell. A costly day at that. Seems like when it rains it pours. Im still swimming everyday. Hate to even think that we will be closing the pool in about 3 weeks. Seems like we just opened it. Hoping today is a better day for you.

Brenda: The blood test has a fancy name and can only be done at the hosital. It specifically looks at all the growing stages of the white blood cells. So we are both hoping that comes back normal. I wouldnt want anyone playing around with my bone marrow. As far as me? My blood tests have always been very normal once I stopped chemo. I dont know what in the heck is going on that made them elevated. Im thinking maybe it could be from all the swimming Im doing? Who knows, but Im not worried about. It was just a flukey thing - mine being higher than my sisters!

Well how quickly time flies when your having fun. On a normal day, I would have yet another hour of computer time. But the shower is calling me. Have to hit the road by 6:30 am to avoid a massive traffic jam. Sending love and hugs to everyone. I know I miss saying hello to so many of you - but know that you are in my hearts.

I THINK EVERYONE NEEDS A MAJOR LAUGH

    Husband: Oh, come on.
    Wife: Leave me alone!
    Husband: It won't take long.
Wife: I won't be able to sleep afterwards.
Husband: I can't sleep without it.
Wife: Why do you think of things like this in the middle of the night?
    Husband: Because I'm Hot.
Wife: You get hot at the darnedest times.
Husband: If you love me I wouldn't have to beg you.
Wife: If you love me you'd be more considerate.
Husband: You don't love me anymore.
Wife: Yes I do, but let's forget it for tonight.
    Husband: Please...come on
    Wife: Alright, I'll do it.
Husband: What's the matter? Need a flashlight?
    Wife: I can't find it.
Husband: Oh, for heaven's sake, feel for it!
    Wife: There! Are you satisfied?
Husband: Oh, yes. Wife: Is it up far enough?
    Husband: Oh, that's good
Wife: Now go to bed and from now on when you want the window open, do it yourself

    Goodmorningg-

No sleep for the weary or those in pain.
It id judt turning light outside. This is not for me.

I told the ER doc, no pain meds, of course I have an arsenal of stuff if I really need some. But I opted for a few cocktails instead, now the pain from the sutures and the tetnaus shot has woken me up.

Shel- you always make me smile. Gotta keep laughing or you'll cry, my mom used to say that. Enjoy your trip!

Nicki summer goes too fast as we get older, find an indoor pool

Vickie- I'll copy that playlist of songs and post them soon. I am glad you liked them
    Jankay thanks for the laugh.
Betty hopefully those cue roofers will work sans shirts, it is so hot up there.
Cheri pryaers for you as I lay back down.
I am gonna try to go back to sleep. I do not have to be at work til 1pm, so g'nite.

    Colleen,

I had to laugh at Gina's post cause I was thinking the same thing. Tell him you sold it to me to pay your breast cancer deductible. My brother is a judge and I don't think Tim would do very well in his court or anyone elses either! Marsha

    Good Morning!
Nicki: I don't recall seeing the post about your Dr. visit or your sisters. Yesterday when the cyber monster was testing my last bit of patience I swear I saw post from you between mine..and then it was gone.

I think some of my clients have rubbed off on me.......and that is not a good thing!!!!

Christine: Yikes girl! You need to go on Vacation.....but looking at the bright side, you get to look for a Cute Roof Guy!!

Gina: I told Colleen not to sell you that ring. She did anyways and now you've lost it. Good thing it was a fake and the only thing you've got to show for it is a permanent picture of "plumbers crack" and the bill for having him (plumber) remove and install the drains looking for the thing.
    Cheri: Prayers to you.

I feel like I'm leaving so many out......when I write long post, even if I copy, the 'invalid creep' always pops up on me. Must be cuz my words are always dripping with sweetness..and he eats them! Hope he chokes!!

    Hugs,
    Denise

Colleen, He is bluffing but remember he has given it to you before and wanted it back and you always returned it. The last time you TOLD him that you would not be returning it again. REMEMBER and that he had better be sure. He assured you he was and then repeated his old behavior.
But again, he is bluffing big time.

Good morning to all. My ITM's have grown to just 220CC's and they Hurt! Advil Smadvil, I want Vicoden!

Liz - Congrats on finishing the bathroom! Now the fun part of decorating begins!

Elaine - Glad to hear you're feeling better.

Wild Jan - Cool pic of Tiger

Jan - Where in PA are you again? I want to meet you someday .. I love a good par-tay!

Mandy - What's a vacation? lol Didn't you just get back from one? Hang in there and enjoy your anniversary with your hubby!
Looking to see you post a pic!

Nicki - It's great that you have so much trust in your onc. What do you mean by a smear on you...bone marrow?

Denise - thank you for hugging my family! Regarding the angel pics, I love them .. I wonder sometimes if people here don't get sick of seeing them but I find them calming and glad that you love them! I bet you have a beautiful collection!
    How is your dog doing?
    Dang cyber monster!! Use Notepad!
hmmmmm I wonder if I can find a lilly livered ass pic....

CY - Well said regarding the circle. It is my support group as well and nobody outside this circle gets it. As Gina said I'm grateful to BCO for being here. I'm indebted to Gina for starting this wonderful thread. And I'm thankful for all my sisters here for helping me keep my sanity.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your cat I hope they can help him.

Vickie - now you're 46 and one day old .. woo hoo!!!! Seems to be much confusion on where to go for the Pinkstock website! I think we need a committee... lol

Madison - so glad your daughter has all those airmen buddies watching over her.

Christine - God Girl, what side of the bed did you wake up on? You had enough bad luck today to last you a year! Sorry you woke up in pain. I did the same thing but can never go back to bed when I do. I hope you some good rest as you lie down again.

Colleen - What a jerk...good thing you sold the ring to Gina! If you can, don't waste too much energy on him. He's not worth it!

Deb - Great job getting that bear! I want to be on your side..Always! lol

CherylnC - Dr. Feelgood ... how cool! He'll even play his guitar and sing for Cheri!

Suz - Great to see you. Notepad works best. I never have to fight that dang cyber monster!

Karen - my SO has a home office also. It's one of the only rooms in the house without A/C! I don't know if this old house could handle it anyway if he had one. When they are all on upstairs it always trips the breaker and all the power goes off.
Sorry to hear about your Rosey.

Gina - like a sprinkler! lol How you are handling all you have to deal with ... you are an inspiration!

Betty - Good morning sweet sister.

Jankay - Good one. I hope those meds kick in and you start feeling better soon!

    Jazz - Missing you here!

Marsha - Thanks for your research post for Cheri. That was good for all of us to know.

Well I have to go see the urologist today .. have a possible ureter junction obstruction that showed up on my scan back in april that needs further evaluation. I don't know what to expect today but I'm not in the mood for anything as I'm still in pain from my fills yesterday!

I woke up around 5 am and didn't Cheri log onto IM!! I thought the pain from my fills woke me but now I know it was because Cheri was wanting to chat! I was so glad to talk with her. She seemed in good spirits considering everything and I'm sure she was calmed by all her circle girl friends.

Well I posted the above pic on the wonderful Prayers for Cheri thread that Susan started but I thought I would post it again here .. we're all angels on earth circling around Cheri as she has her appointment today.

    Love and Hugs to all

Popping in at work with little time to spare (as usual). Still waiting to hear about the other job which is still open and I am supposed to get a call about any day now...geez. If it takes them this long to hire someone I would imagine it would take forever to fire someone LOL.

    Thanks Christine.

Madison...hope your DD is better today...sending hugs...miss you.

    Liz...miss you too.

Cheri...will be thinking of you and Amber all day.

I took the Pinkstock myspace down...too confusing (and too much work for me) to have two sites going. Cheryl posted a link to her site. If anyone doesn't want their pictures posted please let Cheryl know.

Oh...DD bought me the Glenda Barbie!!! She hasn't arrived yet but I'll post a picture when she does.

Guz...where are ya?...Denise..thank you sweet lady. Angel...thank you and hope you have a grand day.

    gotta work...darn

I will blog and post pics on my personal myspace account for anyone interested.

    Morning ladies!

Angel ~ ITMs? Please don't post a pic, but what does that mean? Or, maybe I should be telling Marsha not to post a pic. LOL!! Saw that blob thing in the box. OOOOOO!

I have a vaginal ultrasound scheduled in 3 hours and it's that time of the month. It's too early to call and ask, but does anybody know if you can still have one or not??
I'd hate to drink all the water, drive 45 minutes for nothing. I'm thinking that it's a no go which is a bummer because I scheduled two appts. within an hour of eachother to save work and drive time. Probably looks like I'll be making two trips.

Everyone have a wonderful day!! Well, at least a better on than yesterday.

Morning all, have some catching up to do.

Cheri, your post crossed with mine yesterday and I haven't been back on since lunch. I read back and saw what you posted about Amber. I have tears as I'm reading because I feel like she is my daughter and I can only imagine what this is doing to you. Is there anything I can do to help? I'm sending up prayers for you and her. You know that the waiting is the hardest part. You and Amber are definitely in the middle of the circle.

Wild Jan, cleared out my mailbox so you should be able to PM me your travel plans.

Vickie, I cleared out my mailbox and did check out the site. Love those pics.

Mandy, I'm so sorry your chemo was delayed; how frustrating. Mandy, PM me if you need instructions on posting photos. I cleared out my mailbox.

Colleen, Gina is excellent at writing letters that get results. If you want to sell the ring to me, I'll buy it for $1.00 so you can give him the proceeds, then I'll send you the ring back (ssshhhh, don't anyone say anything). You can also log onto lawyers.com and check their message boards; I'm sure you will find something.

Nicki, you know that the slower you lose weight, the longer it stays off, so 6 lbs. is good. You are more toned than your sister. I didn't go to boot camp this morning - haven't slept well at all in days but I'm going tonight. We will do this together. I know I weigh less than I did two years ago when I had my surgery.

Charlene, that is one gross picture first thing in the morning.

Gina, is there a recipe for your cookies? I just read your eye is bleeding into your nose and you are like a sprinkler. I admire you so much - you have spunk and humor even when so much crap is being thrown at you.

Karen, once you start on fixing up the old homestead, you keep going. Crown molding is going into the last bedroom this week and then the carpet will go in. Room has been painted twice - hubby painted it a sage green but when it dried it was more like sherbet green so he repainted it the same color as in the rest of the house and sage green carpet will be installed. Oh, do you have a cookie recipe too?

Christine, I hope today is a better day than yesterday.

Missed many but it's shower time. Thinking about all my sisters and prayers for those that need extra love and attention.

Cheri, praying praying praying fo Amber. I'm thinking along the same lines as everyone else. Haven't read past this page yet to see if there is an update, but many eons ago I had abnormal pap. I can't remember what they told me exactly but they froze the cells and I haven't had an issue since.
Nicki, the non nurse is going to speak to the nurse for a sec. There is a condition called Sinushysitiositosis(sp?). It creates inflamation in your body. Which in turn creates an elevated white count. In some cases it causes swollen nodes. I have this very strange "condition" for lack of a better word. My WBC hovers between 10 & 13. Anywhos I don't know all that much about it except that my bod is in a chronic state of inflammation sort of like arthritis but it doesn't attack your joints. Am I making any sense?

Shoot and now I have to go.
Elaine, looking forward to your call today. I left a message for linds but haven't heard back from her yet. Hoping you have spoken with her. Marsha and I are meeting on thursday. Marsha will be letting me know. Of course you can join us.

Love everyone from A to Z to bits. Yikes 4 pages in 24 hours. Hope someone is keeping good notes to give me an update when I get home.

    Morning Ladies

Thanks for your kind words. Unfortunately, he is not bluffing, he has sued many a person (for business reasons) and I know him well enough to know he won't hesitate. He will also win, and in addition to giving him the ring back, I would have to pay court costs, attorney fees, etc. I would not put it past him to request that I pay his fees as well (as Madison I think said he could.) The MA law is clear, the ring goes back to the donor. It's a "no fault" state, which means they don't really care who did what to whom, or what a jerk anyone has been. Unfortunately, when I replied to his e-mail asking for the ring, I said I'd be happy to sell it to him. If I had simply said I had sold it, it would have probably been the end of it. Oh well, what can you do? I'm at the point now where I am over my immediate gut reaction, and am just feeling like it is so sad and twisted. My plan is to tell him to come pick it up at my house and have as many of my friends here who can make it to greet him. The whole thing is just so stupid and sickening.

Cheri - I'm sorry to hear about your leg and about Amber. I'm hoping like everyone else here that Amber's news is good.

Christine - Yikes, what a disaster! I'm sending you strength and a continued sense of humor...

Sorry, didn't take notes. Much love to everyone else - Iris, Nicki, Vickie (did I say Happy Birthday?), Robin, Marsha, Charlene, Adrionna, Odalys, Brenda, Amy, Deb, Suz, Puppy, Mena, Karen, Susan, MB, Shirley, shokk, Susan, Gina, lini, shoot - this is why you should do A to Z (oh Z!), sorry if I left out your name, it's a lack of short-term memory, not a lack of caring...

Lini - ITM's = Immoveable Tender Mounds .. the things growing on my chest that some day in the far future will eventually hopefully turn into boobs. God they hurt today, I wasn't expecting so much pain. My breasts hurt and it goes the whole way around my right side to my back and down my arm. It must be aggravating my pre-existing chronic pain conditions, which are always most intense on the entire right side of my body. I'm only on the 2nd post op fill and wondering how bad fill 3, 4 and so on are going to be if this one hurts so much. Damn, I thought I'd breeze through this and handle the pain better... Karl had to help me get my shirt off this morning and I'm going to have to have him brush my hair. I hate being helpless! Don't worry, no pics this time! LOL

Jankay - Loved the husband post. That was very funny

Christine - Sorry to hear of your "Monday the 13th" troubles. Hopefully you will be able to get some sleep soon

Charlene - your angels are always nice to see. They are calming and make me smile. Hope you have no (or at least less) pain from your fills and that your urologist appt. goes well

Vickie - sending you good vibes that you get that job!!! I think it is wonderful that DH bought you the Glenda barbie. The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie

Lini - Good luck with your ultrasound. I had one last year and I know what you mean about drinking all that water and holding it.

Mandy - Sorry to hear your last chemo was delayed. Mine was too back in March but only by a day - even that was too long in my opinion

Emelee - loved the dog picture. My what big lips he has...lol

Happy Tuesday to everyone. Have a great day!!!
