Vickie: Kinda sounds like the place we rented in Cocoa Beach a few years back. I'd love to go, but think DH will go feet up if I tell him I'm vacationing in FL just a couple weeks before Son's wedding in AZ!

DH just went to get our Doggie! She did fine in surgery..hope they give her some doggie vicidan (how ever you spell it.) I'm sure she will be sore.

Whoever brought the huge beef stix to Pinkstock.....DH polished the 3rd and final one off and is requesting a box of them!!!! I'm thinking it was Madison or Liz........but could be way off! He is such a trip!

Denise:thanks for asking,but I just didnt sleep well last night and got up at 5 and got on the pc and finally got sleepy and went back to bed.Slept till 1030 call me lazy.

Margaret:thank you for your kind words.I do feel quite different inside now that I have given myself permission to live,there is something very special going on right now,any of my dear friends who know my situation and want to know what it is will gladly share thru pm.I have found out what i should have know allready that all the mean things the EVIL has said to me and about me are lies from Satan...I am worth something!!!! Well I got a call from the ps this morning.Looks like I will be having sugery on Aug 29 at 6am central time.At parkwest hospital in knoxville.I dread it but am looking forward to it at the same time.I also dread the fills.I am going to do stretching exercises like Nicki said she did.Hopefully wont have any pain at all.

Will bbl.Everyone is gone for now and this is my last day of quiteness until next week.I love all you gals dearly...

Good Afternoon Everyone: Its been a long day - went to my PCP and I have Pneumonia with pleuracy. Not a broken rib. That explains why I was getting chills and then sweating. My DH has been acting like a piece of crapola. He told me he cant do this anymore and now he wont talk to me. Not that I care one bit. Oh and then he says, Im closing the pool down this week-end. Now Im taking the following week off from work. So he is just being mean spirited. To hell with him I say. So Im feeling a bit alone and weepy right now.

My daughter was able to keep a ½ cup of soup in her today…..YEA!!! Progress being made. They did blood work and x-rays this morning. She is also able to keep small sips of water down…..Thank you for your thoughts and prayers….

ok jumping in here right behind Vickie about Nicki's DH-He cant do this anymore.....WTH? Grrrrrrrr,,boy my dander is all up now. Its a good thing he is in Chicago. Closing the pool, yeah right and how long did it take him to get it open. Its freaking hot and in August you dont close a pool unless you are being a mean selfish blaaaaaaaaaaaaa--Might get booted if I type what I am thinking. You tell him the worse thing he could ever do is make all 100's of your sisters mad!

Nicki, take advantage of the peace while he is not talking to you. If he is closing the pool this early it is for pure spite. Maybe you need to start giving him a dose of his own medicine. I am sure you make good bucks being an RN. Maybe you each should have your own accounts. Bob and I always had separate accounts, he liked to spend and he said I was frugal, I am not, and I am conservative.

I had 6-month check up with onc today, everything is good, I had some hip pain that I was concerned about and he said it is the nerve endings coming back to life after the surgery. Said it can go to the back as well as to the front…. sounds good to me. Oh and best of all, I had lost 6 pounds.

Hi everyone, I just got off the phone with Cheri. Amy she wants you to know she was way off in left field when she talked with you earlier. LOL She said the dilaudid makes her wacky. We agreed though it is good stuff! She said they're making sure the antibiotic is working and she may be there 3 or 4 days. She was laughing and her DH kept telling her she was heading to left field again. She made me laugh. LOL She sounded great! Ambers biopsy is on Monday. Cheri said she's doing well though. I told her they were both in the center of the circle.


Nicki - you don't want to know what I have to say about your DH. You are a strong, intelligent woman. You take care of you!

Denise - LOL I have the pic of pinkstock and your cleavage.

I want to go to the beach. I want to go somewhere where the heat index doesn't fry chickens on the sidewalk. I'm hot and grumpy. LOL

Nicki - so glad you went to see the PCP. Read your earlier post and when you said you were having chills and sweats I got really worried - good thing got to this page and found out it was pneumonia and pleurisy. Those are not good but my mind was wandering to much worse things. You need to slow down and take care of yourself. To the deliverence tent with your DH. What nerve! I don't live that far away so if you need me just yell or PM.

Denise - glad your doggie made it through the surgery okay. Her tail must look funny. CY brought the beef sticks to Pinkstock.

Odalys - I was just telling my dh this morning that I don't think I could work in the hospital again (microbiologist). Can no longer multi-task, have a hard time concentrating - you name it, memory is all of a second long. I don't know how you do it.

Nicki, I wish you lived closer. We have a neighborhood pool 6 doors down from me so it's private for us. My kids were raised at that pool. That pool should be open until mid-September anyway. What is hubby's problem? I personally think he has it pretty damn easy.

Hi all. The surgery only took about 30 minutes but right now I feel like a Mack truck hit me. Larry fed me my own homemade chicken soup tonight. I feel better as far as keeping food down. I have one drain from this and have named him Elvis in honor of his birthday tomorrow (I think that is what Puppy told me). I see the ps Friday afternoon. I have to keep it covered up and not bathe for another day yet so I have not seen what it looks like without the implant. Not too thrilled to look anyway. PS said he may be able to put an implant back in after the infection clears up but I may need an expander first. He won't know until he goes in there.

I am too tired to go back and read but I do know from Puppy and Vickie that way too many are not feeling well. Cyber hugs to you all. If I have not mentioned you by name it is because I am too dopey from the percosets.

Going back to bed and rest. Yes, I am drinking lots of water and eating very light foods. Love you all, A to Z!!

I don't know how you all keep up with everybody! I need to start sneaking in more from the office, but my pickin' job is kicking (not pickin') my butt right now!

Hey Casinogirl...my job is kickin my butt too. You gotta grab Liz and Christine and make the hike to Florida in October! I should have a room large enough to hold ten girls comfortably. Me and Nate, my daughter and her friend and MB so far.

well son of a pickin pup i did it again! Went to get a drink outta the fridge and found that I'd put my peanut butter cup ice cream in there instead of the freezer. I swear this is NOT chemo brain...I really think they took part of my brain when they amputated my boobs...damn.
I'm heading back to MB's house and trying again.
