I just talked to Cheri and she's getting ready to post. I'll let her give the details but as Marsha said she needs to be in the center of the circle and given all the support and love we can give her. Cheri, I'm holding your hand right now and won't let go until you do. Take care and try and get some rest.
Hugs and Love
Charlene -
Cheri,
We love you, and you can count on us to help you through this. I'm holding your hand too and saying some heavy-duty prayers. Please let me know what else I can do to help you.
Hugs and Love,
Sue -
Cheri I just wanted to chime in here and tell you I am praying for you. I also want to let you know I had the cryosurgery on my cervix in 1986. I have never had a bad pap again. Amber will be O.K..
BMD -
Cheri - hugs and prayers for you and Amber. You stay off that foot and do as you're told! Amber is going to get through this also. We're here for you!
Hugs
Liz -

well Damn! I had a bad feeling your leg infection sounded nasty! I hope that they have started down a path to get it under control. I am sending you hugs and prayers for both you and your DD. We have you both in the center of the circle...let us know what is going on when you get a second...

Deb C -

lini - unfortunately .. ewwwwww
-
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.......changing my saying!!!!
Hugs,
Denise
ps....can anyone tell me why I got the same post I had already posted when I copied and pasted the second time?
I'd say, "Well Doggie DooDoo" but I can only imagine the picture that would be found!!
Cheri: Post if you can and let us know what is going on, please. Hugs to you.
Hugs,
Denise -
LOL Denise! I was only answering Lini's question .. no doggie doo doo pics, unless you ask me if there Is such a thing!! Then I'll go find one!
I wonder if you didn't actually hit copy and just thought you did?? That could explain it... -
That's just gross, Angel!! You've been cracking me up with your snappy sayings, Denise. What was the one yesterday about my space?? I've been laughing out loud all by myself because of you. I've been losing posts left and right, accidentally blocking people. This new "better" site set-up is driving me nutty.
-
LOL Angel....I'm not asking!!!!
Lini: God only knows what came out of my mouth yesterday!! I've always been one to speak before the brain thinks!!!!
I'm with you........the "better" site is a pain in my "worse" spot!!
Charlene: What, you think I could have possible made a mistake on the computer!!!!
Hugs,
Denise
I'm gonna check in before I hit the hay....waiting to hear from Cheri. -
I think rats are cute (butts and all!) "Doggy doo doo?"...not so much! And old men in Speedos??? YIKES! Now that's scary...although my own reflection in a bathing suit these days is pretty much on par with all of the above!
Charlene - if you want to post some more pix - please make one of Viggo would you - just for me? I need to get into photobucket!
Continuing to think about you Cheri (and your daughter)
Mandy -
Do I dare ask, what's a Viggo??
-
Cheri, I do understand what you are saying and sometimes-bad things can turn into blessings as in my daughters case.
She had uterine cancer, had to have a hysterectomy and when they got in there, they found she had early stage ovarian cancer and we all know that ovarian is a silent killer, no symptoms until it is to late. No other way to look at it except that it was divine intervention.
My sister was dx with cervical cancer when in her 20s, had a hysterectomy and is now 60 years old.
Not trying to make light of your daughters situation, but please understand that this is not a death sentence at all. I have had many situations over the years, had to have freezings, coneoscopy, etc ..these are very common occurrences.
Lister to what Pam said, the best advice anyone could give you.
Bless You and Amber
Doris -
Lini,
I don't want you to think I'm jumping all over you,but if you don't know who Viggio is, you don't know what you're missing.
Drooling,
Cherryl -
ready to do the nightly post but gotta go see if I can find out who or what Viggio is...
brb -
Lini, yes, dare ask! He's my bf .. but Mandy thinks he's hers. Well, we share him. lol Here ya go Mandy!

Everyone - I'm home from my girl's weekend (great fun!) and my darling baby boy is back home. Unfortunately, he came home sick, so today was pretty quiet. I haven't had a chance to read yet, but I have a request for some advice - any lawyers in the group? I came home to a letter from Tim informing me that if I do not return the ring to him immediately he will take me to court. He very helpfully included the precedents in MA, so it appears that he will in fact win the case and I will be required by law to return the ring to him. Here's my question - if he sues me (or whatever it is he will do) do I have to pay for court fees or something? I'm more than happy to let him bring me to court to get the ring back. I could care less about the stupid ring. I would however like to give him a big fat dose of public humiliation along with it. I figure having all of my friends come with me to court that day to see him stand there and sue me for the ring might just do it. But I don't want to have to pay money to do it.
OK, crazy I know, but the letter he wrote me was so nasty, and full of comments about me not doing what was "right and proper" and my "conscience" and how "tasteless" it is to force him to take me to court. I swear, I really think the man has had some sort of complete and total breakdown! Anyway, it's just burning me up, and causing me to dig my heels in (and I know, reduce myself to his level, which is never a good thing!)
OK, feel free to tell me to cut my losses, quit the nonsense and give him the ring back. Or if you happen to know a lawyer and don't mind asking, let me know if I can get away with making him pay to get it back, even if it's just attorney/legal fees.
Hoping everyone had a great weekend, and that this promises to be a wonderful week. Much love to you all, A to Z.... -
I am so grateful to all of you. I cannot express what you all mean to me. Yes, Amber is being scheduled for a biopsy. I am praying hard for pre-cancerous cells. The biopsy will tell much. I just hate that she has to go through all this. I thank you all for putting her in the circle and sending prayers.
Oh geeze. My leg. Well now, that't a complicated story between talking to all these dr.s. My regular dr here called and talked to my old infection control dr. and he said he needed an ortho to tell him about the surgery and etc. He's afraid with it still oozing that it's either gone to the hardware or bone. So he told my md this and so my md calledtl....you know, I'm just gonna cut to the chase here, the bottom line is that my dh and I are fetting up in the night and leaving about 2 A.M. to go to Iowa City which is where my surgeon wants to see me and may be hospitalized or maybe let the infection guy handle it down here if it's not gotten real bad. But I talked to the dr in Iowa and he said rather than try to get up to the ER there tonight, late morning would be soon enough. They may have to do another surgery, crap! Susan called me and I had just gotten home and in between dr calls. She said something, i can't even remember what but i got the 'giggles' and i could NOT shut up! I tried, I just remember looking down at my leg propped up in front of me and thought of how it looked like a bear had been gnawing on it, has 2 holes and nasty ooze coming out and it's so swollen it just shines like ice, I can't even get my camboot on. The urgency is what frightens me. Anyway, back to my laughing jag, it was like a dam burst. I just couldn't quit giggling at the absurdity of the whole day. Life in general. I may have hurt Susans feelings and I apoligized cos it was nothing personal, whatever she said didn't matter i just lost it.She had to go abruptly, so Suzola if you're reading this, it wasn't you. I'll try and call you. Nothing personal. The stress is just getting to me. Janny just called. This is such a caring, loving group and I love you all so much. Thanks for putting me in the middle of the Circle. And some of you knew my leg was bad, I guess i just stuck my head in the sand and thought surely no more was going to happen. I could tell by the way you wrote. Well, I'm rambling. Thank you for everything. All of you. I could sure use some big old prayers. Amber will be in contact if they keep me, plus , I'm taking her laptop with me.I know if it comes to surgery again, you will be holding my hand. I appreciate you all.
Your Friend,
Cheri -
Just checking in on Cheri - am worried about her leg.
Worried about Amber too- but at least I know that she can be treated VERY successfully!
BCO, has been very good to us - if not for them we wouldn't have this little corner of cyberspace. I am indebted to them for all they have given me and the hundred of thousands of women they have helped around the world.
-
Denise..I sent you a PM about San Diego
-
hmmm...interesting dreams could be made from those pics LOL.
I want to thank each and every one of you for a very special birthday. Wow is all I can say at the moment with a lump in my throat. Never have I had a birthday like this one. Both at Pinkstock and here on the boards. You are truly the very best of the best. I love you all. You made my day.
Worrying about our Cheri and Amber...into the center they go. So wish everything could go well for them for a change. Sending prayers.
Lini...seriously wondering why you wondered if rats had butts LOL. You should have know what was gonna happen! That picture is a serious ewwwww.
Nickster...good night and sweet dreams.
Jankay...got your pm and thank you sweet lady.
Too tired to post to everyone as badly as I wish I could...I love ya all.
Hopefully my thryoid test will tell if I am so stinkin tired because of that...if not then I don't know what the next step is...sleep maybe LOL.
I know there are some girls who need the password to the pinkstock site...if you see someone who needs the password feel free to give it too them (as long as they are "safe" heehee...no lurkers or scary men...oh wait...Bob is there). I tried to get all the pictures to play on one slide show but didn't have any luck.
Ok...fallin outta the chair I'm so tired.
thanks you all...sweet and happy dreams to each and every one of you.
Love
Vickie -
Cheri,
Oh, I'm sure Susan understands. I'm no psychologist but I understand that crying and laughing are very close emotions and you were probably uncontrollably laughing to keep from crying and due to the stress and absurdity of it all. You ought to borrow my tagline. Praying hard for you sister. If you need a distraction while waiting to leave read back a little ways. Laughter is good medicine and I think you'll appreciate the humor. Take it easy girlyfriend.
Lots of love and hugs
Charlene -
Charlene,
Thank you so much...Viggo - yummmmmmy! I'd lick the computer screen but I'm afraid I'd get electrocuted!
Cheri - have a good night - hope all goes well tomorrow - glad to hear you are laughing - even if it is a reaction to the stress of the day - hope tomorrow is A MUCH BETTER DAY!
Good nite Vickie!
Mandy -
Mandy get your tongue off the computer screen LOL
-
