Marisa,
Here is his normal pic:
Here is one of him doing his favorite things- sunbathing! -
Emelee-well Peanut did sneak out of the house because we had no idea she was out. She is so small she can be out in no time when you open the door. Needless to say when we noticed she was out they were caught in the act. Not a pretty site mind you. I have another rat terrier that is neutered and Peanut thought he was really cute also as he did her. Its a 3 ring circus around my house as if you had not figured that out.
NS-I'm bummed also that we arent all there. I'm going next year by golly. I sent a package also and I hope its arrived.
Eachday-glad you stopped by.
NS-thats a pretty cat!
SO got a new truck yesterday. Theres a story behind that. ok we live in the woods and some type animal, something small according to the little foot prints got up in her motor of her truck. It chewed every electrical wire that exisited consisting of brake wires, transmission wires, wiper wires and etc. Estimate of over 2000.00. The truck was a 2006. She got in to go somewhere and had no power steering and it said trans fault where the mileage is supposed to be. Had it towed in and found out what all had gone on. We both felt that since it was all the wiring it made us nervous so decided to see if could work out a trade. Now she has a 2007 truck and its nice and we feel much safer with it. About the only difference is swapping from red to black. I told ya it was a 3 ring circus at our house.
ok off to pretend to work some more.
amy -
Gina,
I love your cat - so cute and fluffy - I'll have to try to post mine..
Amy,
hehehe at least your on your toes at home...that's horrifying to catch them in the act!
I also pretend to work
Hi Claire -
Tracey, how good to see you, glad you love the new job.
Cheri, sounds like you are on the road to recovery; hoping for a speedy recovery. No more loose screws he he he. You will be dancing on the tables with Marsha soon (it was Marsha that does table dancing, right - chemobrain). By the way, scared the crap out of me before coffee!
Nicki, I second everyone else on you quitting the second job.
Peter, I'm on West Coast time but didn't have time for coffee this morning before I went to work. Can I have some now if there's any left? Sweet dreams.
Brenda, you eat the same food groups as me.
Gina, I'm going to find a guardian angel for you because I think someone said your old one isn't doing a very good job. Now that Cheri's foot is doing well, she'll be revving up the magic carpet to be with you on the 27th. Will you be hospitalized and if so, how long?
EachDay, glad you dropped in to say hello.
By the way, I finished boot camp this morning - went to all classes this month - missed one last week and made it up this week. Do I look any skinnier - no but I think I can run a little further and faster.
Ok, now I have to work. Hugs to everyone.
Margaret -
Posted this on the wagon gathering but wanted to be sure all saw it. Pic from Pinkstock.
-
Amy, what kind of critter can chew up electrical wires like that?? I am glad your SO didn't get stuck with it on the side of the road- or worse, MEET the critter who did the chewing!!!
Marissa, his name is Mr. Fluffy. His real name was Max- that is what the woman who abandonded him called him. He got to be a pretty fierce cat fending for himself until I found him. I gave him that poofy name to try and rehabilitate him. He does not like it one bit! LOL!
Margaret, I am glad boot camp it over.
I love that pic of Cy.
Please keep the pics coming Pinkstockers~! -
Shokk, thank you for the compliment. Uh...Thelma is the one with the gun, right? I enjoy your posts so much.
Amy, back in the day Oliver was quite the little body buider type, perfect specimen. However, he has gotten older and packed on a few pounds. I attribute part of that to the fact that he never met a girl as...uh...friendly as Peanut. He's watched the neighbor dogs but his little Rat Terrier legs were just too short. They were even shorter than his...never mind.We had an old 4 wheel drive pick up once that dh took hunting and etc and we drove it to N Mo. where his folks live to go hunting one fall. We got stopped by a police officer 4hrs from home with no brake or tail lights. Our Great Pyrenese had chewed the wiring into.
Hey Margaret, expect I'll see you at the party tonight?
Hey Marisa.
Gina, we'll be there for your surgery with you. I bet you are a cool mom to your cat. I am a cool mom to my 3 dogs but back in the day I was a very cool mom to my daughter. All her friends liked me, our house was like the coolest place to hang out at. I think my dd was a little jealous but I told her to quit being a Diva and just accept it is what it is. She had her Designs set on being the center of attention. Isn't it funny how when they're still so immature it's like they have split personalities and you never know which one you're really talking to. Whew, i'm so glad the teen-age yrs are over.
Marsha, where are you?
Jazz, where are you?
Janny, where are you?
Iris, where are you?
Wishing all my friends from Amy to Z a wonderful afternoon.

Cheri, Bwwwwaaaaahhhhhhhaaaaaahhhhhhaaaa!!! You crack me up! I am sooooooo happy that you got your cast off and are healing!!!!!!! I was hoping that would be the case! Leaving for Pinkstock tomorrow. DH wants to wait until the afternoon, but I just want to GET THERE!!!
Nicki, we are about 5 hrs. from MB's. It's just a quick trip compared to Maine last week .
Amy, I wish you were coming also . Take care of your little Peanut.
Gina, I can't believe how much Mr. Fluffy looks like my poor deceased Manny!!! They could be twins. Really!!! He is beautiful!
Okay, I'm getting ready to pack. I really can't take much on the bike though. We have to travel light. Just a change of clothes, tent, sleeping bags and my trusty bottle of Vodka. I'm bringing a mix for blue drinks too ! We will have a toast just for Cheri!
I shall see all of you when I get back!
Love and kisses! -
Drink one for me Biker Jan.
Cheri-They think it was a chipmunk that got the wiring. He was busy whatever he was but according to the lil muddy foot prints he left they think chipmunk. Needless to say it was the talk of the Ford dealership. It even chewed a transmission guard thing whatever that is and to fix it you have to pull the motor.
Whenever peanut decides to have her puppy (yes I told her she could have 1 and only 1 cause mom has a hard time parting with animals) I will post a pic. If she doesnt mind and has more than 1,,,any takers?
Amy -
I'll have a beer for you, Amy !
-
Janny girly friend, where ya been? Glad I could give you a grin. You partying with us tonight? Of course you are. lol
Hey Amykins. Havin a drink yet? -
Hi sisters! Hope everyone is having a good friday. TGIF!!!
It looks like the Pinkstock crew is having a great time.
I am already starting to save for next year!
Cheri - glad you are on the mend - I miss you when you don't
post, but I am glad you are getting better.
Thank you all who sent your addy's to me, I will be sending the gift copy of the dedication of soon.
Hugs to you all! -
Hi Cheri, you know, I was the coolest mom on the block too! And so was my mom. It must be genetic !
I'll see if I can hit the party later! -
Good Afternoon Everyone. My computer decided it needed a virus scan, so as a result its moving very slow and I cant post a picture till its done.
Its the week-end. Im so happy - just gonna relax and have a good time. No work, all play. Sure sounds like those at Pinkstock are having a grand time.
EachDay: What a pleasure seeing a post from you. You just lit up my heart. Are you still on vacation? Hope you come back again cause I miss you around here.
NS: I love the sunbathing picture of your cat. Hope your counts get to where they need to be for the surgery. I think alot of us are sad, missing out on Pinkstock - but there is always next year.
Amy: Its always fun getting a new car or truck. And black wont attract the police like red will anyways. Chipmunk - too bad you didnt catch it, cause you would probably have named it. Im with Shokk - peanut knew exactly what she was doing. Licked herself pretty then went out there and stuck her butt up in the air - those males dogs probably got her scent from miles away. I really laughed hard when you said only one puppy!! 3 ring circus reminds me of my favortie television show right now. John From Cincinatti. I just love the show. The same people who wrote Deadwood, wrote JFC, but you have to watch it from the beginning or it wont make sense.
Well - I just created a new drink for me. I was outside swimming and my husband asked if I wanted anything and I said yes, a glass filled with ice - then pour pinot grigio on it. He said - thats awful, you will have water in your wine. I said - well its like a wine spritzer. He said - you needs carbonated water for that. Well I always have a case of LaCroix flavored, carbonated water. I like it cause its not sweet but there is a taste of berry, orange, or whatever flavor you buy. I happened to have some orange here, so Im having an orange spitzer! And its great. I also like LaCroix cause they will donate money to the Susan Komen 3 day walk. They are a sponsor, and you can fill out a card and they will donate to the group you choose. Thats pretty cool.
I had 2 surprised for my 2 favorite boys. That being my DH and my dog mister. Told my husband I got him a surprise. When I came home they were both standing at the door waiting for me. Mister got a hard boiled egg, and DH got this special licorice he likes. They look like sandwiches - very hard to find. I stopped at Whole Foods and there they were so I couldnt resist since its his favorite candy. That is usually a Christmas present.
Marisa: You get to sneak on from work too? I really need a new job. Either that or bring my lap top with me and stop at Starbucks for lunch. They have wifi.
NS: Awww that is CY? Right when I started pouting cause I didnt know who was in the picture and then your next post says CY. Thats a pic that will be treasured for life.
MargaretB: I havent lost any weight from swimming, but some many people are telling me I look thinner. Even my husband did for goodness sake. So I think Im getting better muscle tone and I know I get conditioned. I can swim 10 laps now without stopping. Couldnt swim 2 when I first started. Actually the boot camp sorta sounds like fun, except for the 5:30am time.
Cheri: My poor Mister hasnt had the likes of a female dog either. Thats why at night I had to start saying No Humpie, cause honestly he looks pretty ridiculous when Im getting into bed. Tries to hump the blankets. Anyways, like I said earlier, now no humpie means go lay down.
Jan: Vodka? Well bring some green olives, put them in a glass with your vodka and have a dirty vodka martini on me. Gosh with all these different drink dedications, you will be smashed before you know it. Tell DH you want to get there earlier than later! Afternoon? Bah humbug.
Z: A big hello to you.
Brenda: Came home and ate a whole bowl of M & M's. OMG, I just spit my wine spritzer out all over the place. Now that was funny.
Odalys: Ya see, thats my problem, I pass out before all the fun begins.
Peter: I really did goof off this week, but my job is flexible and I needed it for my sanity. I worked a pretty good day today. Now that they fired our Corporate Marketing Director, I found out today, I am the chosen one, will be doing all of our CEU presentations. Now I have to come up with 4 topics. They are presentations to social workers and nurses who work at hospitals. Im gonna do 1) Elder Abuse, 2) The hidden enemy, Alcohol abuse in older adults. I still have to come up with 2 more topics. Im not whining though, I can do this from home.
Charlene: I love me and my sisters onc. I was a young staff nurse when he came from a big teaching hospital. He wanted to do community based oncology. We are the same age. Love the same music. Whenever I see him we talk about Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones, and DaBears. We have been at the same concerts! I hand picked him when I actually realized I myself needed and Onc! Anyways, I dont know when they get worried. Hers is high normal. I will know alot more after we have our appt on the 13th. For me, Im a patient. For my sister, Im gonna be that crazy nurse with her hands on her hips pushing him around for a bit if I need to.
Shokk: Not only are you a sweetheart. You always make me laugh too.
Peter: Time to WAKE UP!
OK, Im getting hungry. I will try to check in later.

This has been a stressful week. We are moving into a new facility this year for our 7th, 8th and new 9th and 10th grades. The church we are moving into has been very slow to let us get our classrooms in order. We had open house last night and I still don't have a teacher's desk, student tables and chairs, or any other classroom furniture. All my stuff is in boxes or stacked on a table that was in there. There were things from Sunday School that had been there all summer and no one had done anything. I had talked to the teacher and he was nice, but out of town. All the pastors had been out of town, it's just been hard to picture it as my classroom! Plus, we had under ordered books because we didn't know we were going to have so many kids! It's great, but terrifying not to have everything organized.
The open house went really well, so I felt a lot better after. This morning the custodian was there when I went in and I got her to move a lot of the church stuff either out or into a better place. Now all they have to do is bring in my furniture and I can set up. I am feeling a lot better, but am still stressed to the max. My dh has been terribly sick and I had to take him to the dr yesterday, too. Plus, my son, Joe, has to have his wisdom teeth pulled next Wed so it can be done before school. He just got his braces on 2 weeks ago and had to have a bracket fixed. Like I said, I am totally stressed!
Sorry, probably too much info, but I needed to vent a little. I had Pinkstock on my calendar, but with all this going on I had to mark it out. There was just no way! I sure wish I was there drinking some blue drinks with the girls right now.
Send some xanax, please! -
ok heres the latest pic. Dancing on the table starts early at Pinkstock I do believe. Wooohooo
-
I will check my email during the weekend even though I usually dont so I can post pics if I get any.
Nicki-yep only 1 pup. I sat her down and we discussed it. I can feel her tummy move though and it sure feels like more than 1. Would mister like a friend? Speaking of no humpie,,I had a male dog that was in love with a bear slipper. Not sure what the fascination was but he thought that slipper was something else.
Sheri-glad you are getting moved and I know that is stressful. School will be here before we know it. Aug 9th for Tucker. The summer has flown by.
Jan-I just get 1 beer drank in my honor? Geesh, 2 at least. I would say leave early cause I would be like you and want to get there. Hope the weather cooperates. Take pictures. If you have a cell phone you can text me them and I will post them. I'll pm you my cell #.
Work is almost over and it will be officially time to have a drink. Nicki is making it rough on me just talking about it,,lol.
Amy -
Amy: If I didnt love you so much I would kill you. OK - who is that a picture of. Is it Vickie in her Glenda dress?
-
Whatttttttttt,,why would you kill me?
Yep I'm thinking Vickie in the Glenda dress. All I'm getting is pictures and no info with it so its all a guess.
Amy -
Ok I wouldnt kill you - I just hate puzzles and now I realize you dont know the names either. Oh those girls at Pinkstock. Tease tease tease.
And poor poor peanuts. Just found out that she isnt a hussey. She picked her man!!
Love ya
Nicki -
A picture of Vickie with her skirt on her head!

Eachday, I agree with Nicki, I get lit up when you post, too.
Sheri, at least Open House went well, it'll all work itself out. Although, I know it must be stressful.

back from the hunting camp. Wilber is safe. For now. We did see he and Porky from afar running as fast as their chubby little legs would carry them.
In reality the "hunting camp" is a stunningly beautiful peaceful place. 700 acres of wild cypress along a lovely little river. I do believe it was a marvelous healing time for the sister, BIL, and the kids.
I see Cheri got her cast off. YEHAW!!
And pics are coming in from Pinkstock. Very exciting.
Peter, EachDay, and Z, its good to see you back.
I'm pooped, have a blue drink for me friends, I'm going to bed.
