Mizsissy, maybe you should post that over on the Pinkstock thread. Although I would love to help that hypothetical person, I don't believe she would fit on the motorcycle with DH and I! No seriously, all those going to Pinkstock have been posting over there and maybe someone would see it and be able to help.
Well, I'm getting my poor old fart butt ready for bed, so I'm going to say good night to all you lovely ladies!
I'm just howling at the moon ! -

Wow, I sure wish I was going to Pinkstock. It sounds like such an adventure. Too bad I don't have any time off accum yet. Well, I decided this week to stick to working only eight hours a day. Ha, two months of working two jobs is enough! They still haven't compensated me for taking on the additional job. They need to hire someone else to cover the other facility. That's all there is to it. But of course they are cheap. An old expression comes to mind "Why pay for the cow when you can get the milk for free"...right?
Mizsissy - I too think Mena should go. Can someone help our dear Mena?
Gina - You are overdue a big break. So sorry you have to deal with so much. As another bc sister likes to say...Chin up!
Nickie - I hope you are feeling better.
Charlene - hope the pain goes away and it turns out to be something minor like indigestion or gas.
Denise - I stopped the spanish lessons cause didn't see much interest from the group. Glad to see your GD is learning spanish.
OK, got to go back and catch up with today's posts. BBL -
Odalys, I emailed Mena some info.
pals
cheri -
Hey Mizsissy............and FRIEND!
I know for a fact that if a certain person could make it to Buffalo that certain person could manage a ride. I also know a couple of the girls have extra bed (or did) in room. And I talked to MB last night and she has EXTRA Campers/trailers. I know at one time, MB said that her DH would make airport runs!
So tell that FRIEND that I have MB's phone number and if she would like it she can give me a call!!
I will pm both of you!
Hugs,
Denise
Is anyone else getting half of a screen right now???? -
Here you go sweet Charlene...........I thought this would be faster than snail mail!! Enjoy!
Hugs,
Denise -
Cristine...a belated happy birthday!!
I have been out on the lake for a while so missed too much entirely..sorry for that...
They had 75,000 people here in Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame inductions. That is alot of people considering the town is only a couple of thousand population.. We went to the Hall of Fame today and there were still alot of people still in the area and at the Hall..It still is always a treat to see it all..I really liked the exhibit of the Girls Baseball that was in the movie "A League of Their Own"
Sherloc..still sending my hugs to you and your family
Nicki always good to see your shining face in the mornings..
Margaret,..I need to join you a boot camp after this vacation...just call me Blimp
Betty..we are on the retired military health care program...

Mizsissy and Cheri - thanks ....Go Mena.
Socal - sounds like you are having an awesome time this summer. I've really enjoyed your pics. You are always going somewhere that is so cool. Nice to see you on the go.
Wishing everyone who is traveling tonight a safe trip. Good night everyone. Talk with you mañana. -
good evening sweet family,
good morning Peter,
Well I am all packed, the car is ready, everything is loaded and I'm beat. Whew...probably packed enough for two weeks but oh well LOL. I have the camera's and the camcorder along with the tripod so look out ladies!
I do believe that a certain lady whose name begins with an M would have no problem whatsoever getting where she needs to go and having a comfy place to stay and lots of wonderful people to take good care of her should she decide to come.
Well all...here goes my nightly tuck in...I'm gonna miss tucking you all in for a couple of days and waking you up in the morning. I so very much wish we were all together...maybe next year...I will have each of you in my thoughts and prayers throughout my stay.
Karen...sending you a gentle hug and hope you enjoy the wedding and get back on an even keel. Sweet dreams;.
Cheri pal...I'll be sure to be having some blue drinks for you and toasting you the entire time dear friend. Take care and have lots of stories to tell me when I get home. I will be on the magic carpet with you tomorrow and holding your hand, praying for al the best news. I missed what's going on with Amber...I have an idea from what little I've read so I will keep her in my prayers too.
Angel...I'm glad the swelling went down and I would so much like to see you. I'll have to see how far you are from where we live. Tucking you in and sending you a hug. Kiss those babies for me.
Shokk...oh how I will miss your posts. Stay safe in that wild world you live in LOL. Hope you don't have to spend any time in the closet for a while. Love and hugs to you.
Odalys...hugs to you and wish you could be with us. I still have something to mail you...I am so slow sometimes. Geez.
Jankay...I'll miss your early morning funnies. I will be thinking of you and will call you when I return. Hugs.
Nicki...I'm glad you didn't take the second job. You work too hard now. Whats up with DH...does he need a couple days in the deliverance tent? Sending you a hug and hope your week is an easy one. Love ya sunshine sister.
Gina...oh how hard it will be to all be together without you. Planning a little surprise for you if I can make it work. Just to cheer you and you can dream of next year! Love, hugs and sweet dreams.
Margaret...take care and don't overdo boot camp! Yikes...we lost a resident yesterday and I walked our trail three times and found out just how out of shape I am! Thinking a bit of boot camp wouldn't hurt me a bit.
Shirley...a condo on the beach...I would almost trade you...I so love the beach. Sending you hugs and I'll be missing you.
Marsha...wth...I would think that decision would be your decision not his. I had no problem and I agree with Cheri...change surgeons to one who does what YOU want. I'll be sure to dance on a table for ya...hugs and sweet dreams.
Sweet Puppy...we will call you when we get home. Nate is thrilled with his sweet surprises. Tucking you safely in and wishing you happy dreams. Love and hugs to you.
Iris...hmmmm...a broken window and the alarm didn't go off! Did I read that right. Sending Bubba over to take care of you...no one would get near him (including me...regardless of what Marsha tries to tell me). Love, hugs and sweet dreams.
geez Robin...we miss you when you go AWOL on us. Cut that out! For all we know you could be sittin in jail waitin for us to come break you out. You know...the "Evil" plans LOL.
Brenda...wish you did live closer...could have used the help today LOL. Wish you were with us...see you on Sunday...hugs and sweet dreams.
Marisa...just saying welcome...this is a great place to be.
Betty...saying a prayer that you can find some affordable insurance and get out of that horrible job you are in.
Hugs to Tgirl...sweet dreams.
Amy...I may sneak by and borrow Mazer for a ride around town from Pinkstock...I'll wear my goofy dress and see what the townsfolk think heehee. Wanna join me...wish you were going to be there. Take care and pleasant dreams.
Tricia...I must have missed your post but sounds like you are doing well. Have been wondering about you and sending you a hug.
Lisa...I can't seem to keep myself in line...can't imagine trying to do so with everyone else LOL...especially that Cheri girl...you know how she is!
Well it's getting late and I want to head out by 6am. I will drive safely but say an extra prayer for us in the morning along with all our other travelers. You will all be in my heart on this wonderful adventure.
Sorry to anyone I missed...not intentional...just tired, hot and sticky...time for a dip in the pool and off to bed...
I love my cyber family...I'll miss ya but will check in if possible.
Take care and I'll try to post in the morning before I leave.
Love and hugs
Vickie
sending lots of angels to watch over you all. -
Want to hear something depressing - the radio annoucer today said that he had 9 paychecks left before Christmas - haven't checked to see if that's right, but it sounds right. Yikes, I better start saving. I see the boards changed too.
Marisa, I would so love to have that job. Dr. Scarpetta is my favorite character.
Colleen, glad you are posting. I have days when I don't feel like posting either.
Cheri, good luck with your appt tomorrow - if I still had my chamoboot I'd send it to you.
Denise, great pics of you, Deb, and the rest of the gang. If I had the energy to bottle some boot camp for you, I would.
Karen, I hope you are having the most wnderfu of times at the wedding with DH.
Marsha, I can't believe your surgeon is refusing the surgery.
Robin, good to see you post nd another birthday coming up...
I am missing many. Hoping Mena makes it to Pinkstock.
Everyone traveling tomorrow, be careful.
Margaret
Peter, I miss you being here - if you ae lurking, please drop in. -
Dropping by to say goodnight on my way to bed. Have been watching the stuff on the bridge collapse in Minn. Can you imagine driving on a bridge and it starts to shake and then just gives way under you?? Just hope the death toll doesn't keep climbing.
Denise, you ask what kind of business. We bought 10 years ago a pizza, sub and salad shop in a small town. That pretty much says it all doesn't it - most days I know we were crazy. I definitely liked the money and benefits better when I worked for someone else.
I finally got to take my brothers dog home tonight - I've had him since June 17. My brother had a total hip replacement and got the OK today on his check up to drive and go to his house (he lives alone). You know, that dog has so scratched my hardwood floors and I was so ready for him to go - gave him a bath and made him smell good for bro. Then when I got ready to leave and got in the car to come home, dang if I didn't tear up. I know - he was a good dog and well behaved. With the hours we work and the length of time we are gone each day, I felt bad for the dog so I am glad he is home now. Am gonna miss his nose nudging my arm while I am on the computer and wanted in my lap. He's home though.
Robin good to see you, glad that you are OK. Mena, do you have something wrong with your ankle too???
Cheri in case you don't check in early tomorrow - good luck and hope you get the cast off; if not, well it will be just OK for a few more weeks. Will be thinking of you.
Vicki, you turn that cam or camera on to much and the girls might just decide to hide from you. You pack like I do - take lots and be prepared for anything.
Angel - if OUR friends win the lottery, I'm expecting them to share - seems only right since I wished good things.
OK, my eyes are getting heavier and I can't really see what I'm typing - Good night everyone. Hope you rest well and wake up tomorrow fin'er frogs hair. LOL, Brenda -
Good Morning Everyone! Its official. I am now getting up in the middle of the night. We finially brought my DH car into get the breaks fixed. He wanted to get up early, but not this early. It was praying on my mind all night. Kept having dreams he could only make right turns. So when I woke up - ne was awake and I said lets just do it. Got the and back safely. This is gonna be my early day at work so things worked out good.
Its still funny when I first sign on to our discussion boards. I like the new look - but my eyes are still used to the old look. Initially when the moderators told us they were gonna change the boards I was a little worried, but wow - this happened so smoothly and is so nice.
Things are still a little weird when it comes to hair growth. While I was swimming yesterday, I now have underarm hair growing back. Havent had to shave under my arms for 2 years. Still totally blows my mind that 2 years later I would have hair growing back on my arms, eyebrows, and now underarms. That chemo is really strong stuff.
Cheri: Hoping you have a safe trip and that you get good news at the doctors office. Life would be so much nicer for you if they give you that camboot.
Brenda: I have always wanted to have my own small business, but the hours and responsibility that go with sound too much for me. I may whine and complain alot, but when I leave work, my time is mine. I dont like our insurance, but otherwise I have good benefits. Get 3 weeks vacation and 9 personal days. This summer I am actually enjoying the paid time off - before I was using it to recover something - surgery, chemo, more surgery!
There was alot of talk a fw weeks ago on another forum about Universal Health Insurance. Although I used to be against it, now having to deal with major health problems, it doesnt sound so bad to me. Im so tired of the insurance denying claims and playing with our money. I sure hope the next president addresses why the insurance companies are making record profits and providing less coverage. I payed $750 a month for me and my husband. My last visit to my onc they denied my CBC, CMP, and CA15-3. Now come on, I had multifocal bc that was er/pr negative and her2+ with one positive node. Ah - I just walking away from this subject shaking my head.
MargartB: I just read your post. Then I counted on my fingers. OMG! You are right. 9 paychecks till Christmas - say it aint so. I had to evaluate a 65 year old lady yesterday who has a new diagnosis of Colon Cancer. She told me it was so shocking. She went for her routine colonoscopy and they found something. So despite all the joking around we do about colonoscopies - heres proof of how important they are.
Actually Im seeing alot of people who have cancer for some reason. Have a retired social worker I have been evaluating who has lung cancer. Things dont look so good for her and for some reason she has touched my heart. I visit her everyday, even though I dont think she is gonna make it to our sub-acute rehab.
Vickie: I am so like you. I always pack more than I need. Havent bee on an airplane since 911 so Im sure I would get stopped. I need all my hair stuff, at least 3 outfits a day, different shoes for those outfits. Oh the list goes on and on. If your having a cup of coffee around a campfire - please think of me. Enjoy your trip and have lots of fun.
SoCal: "A League Of Their Own" is oneof my favorite movies. Here in Chicago we were hoping the Ron Santo would get inducted. Maybe 2009.
Jan: I loved your picture and Im laughing. So do you change into a werewolf at night? Glad by time you get to pinkstock the full moon will be gone.
Marsha: I thought about this all night. I just dont understand your surgeons decision. Mine totally agreed that a bil. mast was the way to go. When it was all over, my good breast show ALF and the beginnings of LCIS. He told me it was a ticking time bomb. So Im thinking maybe talk to your onc and see if there is the name of a good breast surgeon you could have a consult with. Me thinks we should put your surgeon through everything you have been through. Surgery, chemo, rads - who wants the fear of having to go through that again. Good luck!!
Odalys: Hoping you have a grand day at work.
Jankay: Good to see you post. Hoping today is a better day for you.
Peter: This is so ridiculous. I am now having to get up and make my own coffee. Where are you mate?
Well - Im hot and sweaty. Its gonna be another warm day here. I have just enough time to jump in the pool before I hop in the shower for work. Hoping everyone has a wonderful day.
Nicki -
Good morning all,
Well we are packed and ready to go...had to pop in one more time with love and hugs to all.
Good morning sunshine sister Nicki...see you soon and I'll be thinking of you.
I'll be thinking of you all!
lotsa love and big hugs
Vickie -
Vickie: Have a safe trip. This is my sunshine hug for you.
Nicki -
Odaylys - thanks I hope it's gas or indigestion too! mmm, thanks for the yummy drinks...they Do contain alcohol right? lol
{{{{Jankay+}}}}}
Denise - thank you for the lollipops, they came Just in time!
Vickie - that would be awesome if we met. I think we're a good bit apart though! Thanks for kissing my babies. We'll miss you, have fun!
Brenda - that was a sweet story about your Bro 's dog. -
Good Morning dears. Wilbur is on the move so we are heading to the hunting camp today. I THINK!!! This darling family has always been indecisive. But I must say I am proud of them all. Mom and Dad could have chosen to lock themselves in their house and left nephew and niece to grieve on their own. Instead yesterday we went shopping, fishing, walked on the beach at sunset. Absolutely amazing for someone who lives in the mountains. Tears falling at any given moment and still many left to come but they are hanging in.
Cheri praying for a camoboot today. Also praying all is well with Amber.
Gina praying for you also. As everyone else has said "ENOUGH ALREADY"!!!
Marsha, whenever I have a doc that doesn't agree with what I want to do I sic my onc on him/her. The man is quite the negotiator and always seems able to convince them.
Chralene not sure what is going on with you but praying for you also.
Love you all to bits. I THINK we will be at the hunting camp till friday. But the plans change from moment to moment. I just say "Yes Maam". She is my OLDER sister afterall and I always respect my elders. -
Yesterday this new get up looked good......but since last night I can't get a full screen...........Say it ain't me!!!!
Be back in a bit!
Hugs,
Denise -
Shirley .. my sister who is staying with me is the oldest of seven kids....and I'm the youngest. She's like my mom...so I know what you mean lol. I'm trying to figure out what's going on with me too. A bunch of diff. doctors are going to tell me. lol Thank you for your prayers.
Cheri - waiting to hear from you with good news -
Hi
Margaret, I'll let you know if it's that exciting..to start I'll be taking calls from all over the state to get the info for the bodies, accepting and releasing bodies, and creating death certificates...I just don't know how excited I'll be if I'm there overnight!
Hello to all -
I am back
Mike was going to be married to Karen, so his father sat him down for a
little chat. He said, "Mike, let me tell you something. On my wedding
night in our honeymoon suite I took off my pants, handed them to your mother,
and said, 'Here - try these on' She did and said, 'These are too big I can't
wear them.' I replied, 'Exactly I wear the pants in this family and I
always will.' Ever since that night we have never had any problems."
"Hmmm," said Mike. He thought that might be good thing to try.
On his honeymoon, Mike took off his pants and said to Karen, "Here, try
these on." She tried them on and said, "These are too large. They don't
fit me. "Mike said, "Exactly. I wear the pants in this family and I always
will. I don't want you to ever forget that." Then Karen took off her
pants and handed them to Mike. She said, "Here -you try on mine."
He did and said, "I can't get into your pants." Karen said, "Exactly. And
if you don't change your smart ass attitude, you never will."
And she lived happily ever after. -
Jankay..lol - very loud actually - I'm printing that for my husband
Does anyone like other animals? I don't want to assume you all want to just see cat pics - I specialize in any animal -
I THINK HORSES ARE A FAVORITE
AND DONKEYS
AND REALLY ANY ANIMAL -
-
Morning everyone,
Love the donkey pics. Donkeys are so loveable! Mazer is pouting cause she isnt at pinkstock I do believe. Of course, I am pouting also cause I so wanted to go.
ok now Jan and Shokk,,watch it missys! Peanut would never do such a thing willingly. Shes a precious little angel and was totally taken advantage of. Geesh, you two better be nice or there might be a jackrat on your porch one morning. Hows that for getting even?
Shirley-So much for the beach huh? Have fun in the deep woods of South Georgia. I am NE Alabama so not close but sure wish we were. We could have our own mini pinkstock.
Cheri-crossing my fingers for good reports today. cam boot or not we want no infection!
Mena-hey there missy. Sure hope things work out for you to get to pinkstock.
Jankay-good morning. Loved the joke.
Emelee-dont believe what some of the others said about peanut. She is a sweet lil rat terrier that got taken advantage of. The nerve of them calling her a hussy! Bless her heart, I'm glad she cant read boards or she would be damaged forever.
Nicki-Glad you are certainly enjoying your pool. I love swimming and also did the swim team and life guarding when I was younger. My son loves the water. I keep thinking we need a pool but havent gotten there yet.
vickie-drive safely-
ok brb phone is ringing.
Amy -
I'm a dog person .. like elephants and lions also. horses of course. and fish.
man it's quiet around here today -
Angel, that's not a list of your pets is it
Amy, I never believed for a minute that Peanut was a hussy..not with such an angelic name...my mom and dad got a calico and her 6 month old baby last year right after the calico gave birth to a 2nd litter - she is a hussy - she still mesmerizes an unneutered neighborhood cat with her black eyelined green round eyes - he comes around and they sit together and chase each other - she's a slut, what can I say? hehe
I think I know what happened with Peanut...she was tricked!
This dog here wore a wig and she thought it was a new lovely girlfriend...boy was she wrong!! -
If Peanut did this dance....it explains what made her so alluring -
{{Angel}} Praying very hard for You Sweetie!!
{{Nickie}} Who Loves Ya Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish i had the words to say to express how much You all have touched my heart, with your prayers!!!
Thank You so much for the wonderful cards and gifts!!!
"Thank You for being My Sister and Brother"
I love you all!!!!!
{{ Emelee}} Thank You for Your Special Angel! She is so special! could you please tell her story to the others ?
{{Denise}} I have My gifts from you with me always, where I go they go!!!! "Thank You Sweet Sister of mine"
Gods Speed, and I so hope My Sweet Mena got to go to Pinkstock, I know vickie has a dress she can use{ HEHEHEHE}
xoxo Puppy -
I'm so glad you got it and like it Puppy - hopefully it brought you luck...it was such a pretty orange color and it's perfectly small to fit in a pocket or purse
Love Marisa
I like how it matched the butterfly/dog card too - I always try to color coordinate... -
Marisa, How dare you imply that my peanut would dance in such a provocative way. She had her legs crossed the entire time,,I swear. Shes just like her mother,,,a mere angel. LMAO!
Amy
