ROFLMAO! Mena...you're too cute!
-
Shokk, I missed the wildjan post but will have to go check it out on the humor board. Sounds like a good one.
This is just so exciting watching all of you get ready for pinkstock. Makes me so jealous that I cant be there but so glad to see all of you getting together.
I've officially lost my mind and headed to White Water tomorrow in Atlanta. Son wants to go so what the heck?!? I figured we could all go have fun before he goes back to school. Its going to be hot so playing in the water will be nice. Who am I kidding,,its always hot here.
Cheri,,where are you today? Its 1:00 p.m. here so you should be up,,right? I'm thinking somebody kidnapped you because that was a post not quiet like you last night....hmmmmmmmmm.
BRB,,,man I feel like shokk.
Amy -
Mena - even horses patooties can be easy on the eye.
-
ok I'm back,,,
Nicki-glad to see you posting this morning. Whats up with the hubby crying? What is heavy on his mind?
Anne-glad to see you popping in and I bet last night was so much fun. Enjoy the new house and I bet you cant wait to get moved in and make it all yours.
Shel-great funny story. Hows work going besides the smells that is.
Denise-Glad to know you handled the snake and I bet the trouser snake comment made your husband get quiet.
Cheri-did they ever find out who gang rapped your dog? Reason I am asking is that Peanut has been gang rapped also. It must be going around. She would have never done such a thing. Honestly, really though, kept such a close eye on her and took her out to pee and stood with her. Well one time she was out and had slipped out the door without us knowing it. We were sitting admiring the garden and she came and jumped in my lap. Well, needless to say that one time she was foot loose and fancy free she did the dirty deed. Vet first thought it was a false pregnancy cause he couldnt feel anything but said would take a while cause she is so small. Well, you can sure feel it now and she nears the due date. We are anxiously awaiting the new arrival and hoping for an only child. I have never had a dog have puppies. All mine are spayed and neutered except for the jack russell and Peanut the rat terrier. Hmm, what would that be,,a jack rat? Oh my! Poor lil peanut. Cant wait to get it (them) born and get her spayed. Jackson already has an appointment. Geesh, I got the bad mother feeling. You all know I cant get rid of animals cause I am afraid they wont be looked after and taken care of. I mean after a brief 25 page questionaire and a home visit I would let them but we shall see.
Z-hoping things are ok with you.
Mena-I see you sneaking in here discussing horsey patooties,,I guess thats better than my ass,,oh I mean my donkeys.
ok gotta run for a bit. Will this day ever end.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CHRISTINE - HOPING YOUR DAY IS EVERYTHING YOU WANT IT TO BE!!!
I set my alarm for 4am this morning and of all days to sleep!. Luckily Miriam set her alarm and got up on her own. She came into my room at 4:10 and said I thought you were getting up at 4? She uses the stall shower in my bathroom and was coming to get her shower. I just got dressed helped her get breakfast and we were off to the airport at 5am for a 6:50 flight that was 1/2 hour late. And of course since she was an unaccompanied minor I had to wait till the plane was in the air. Talk about the charge for a kid flying by themselves - its highway (or should I say airway robbery. I just called the girls and Miriam had a good flight and they are off to a shopping mall. I got home after 8 and took a shower - OMG - did that feel good. First one since the surgery last Monday. I am more sore since the stitches came out and I am wearing a regular bra. But I was told I would be sore. i met one of my dear girlfriends from work for breakfast - what a nice treat. We always find so much to chat about. The last time we met for dinner I showed her pictures of my lopsided recon and we just laughed and laughed in the parking lot and she reminded me of that today!!
Brenda - what a beautiful video and song.
Sheri-when is the first day of school.I go back on Aug 13 -the kids come on Aug 20 which is also when my Miriam starts back to school. I work in a neighboring district to where I live - luckily our schedules often mesh, except that I am on an "alternative calendar" - modified year round - I had a 6 or 7 week summer vaction, but I get time off during the year.
Anne - glad to see you back posting. congrats on the new house - I hope it will bring you much happiness. Your dinner with Denise and Deb sounds like fun.
MB - I know we will all feel the prayers on Saturday - the power of so many CG's will be hard to miss. Thank you for thinking of all of us girls who are missing Pinkstock and thank you for hosting it for all the girls who can make it.
Angel - good luck at the PCP tomorrow. I feel like such an old lady with all the pills I take - Rx and supplements - but anything to help me feel better and help to try to keep this beast away. I never imagined that at my age I would be taking so many pills - but then again, BC was never in my wildest dreams. I still feel so numb - need to find away to get that spark back and my mojo back. I have the most wonderful husband, but my libido is almost non-existent - its not fair to him. Hope your family reunion goes well this weekend.
Shel - loved your story about your co-workers - what a great sense of humor!!
Nicki - so glad you are back and that you have your ole name back. I don't have any sisters, so I don't know what it feels like to loose one and to miss her so. I do have a brother, but we are not in contact with each other - for my self preservation!!!! I do hope that you are feeling better soon. Funny story about the button on your blouse popping off!!! I much prefer pullovers rather than blouses, but I was a good girl last week and the few days I got dresses wore blouses. Its funny, the new implant is fairly symmetrical to the prophy side, but they still don't look the same. Two scars on the radiated side - mastectomy scar and implant scar (now opened twice). I don't like looking at myself in the mirror, but in clothes I look okay. I still struggle with the recon and wonder if it was the right thing to do. I guess for now, I am keeping them.
Betty - I am so sorry that you are having such problems at work. I hope you are able to find something new sooner than later and that things at work get better soon.
Madison - good luck with moving you DD to New Orleans
Denise - glad that the snake is gone - love the "trouser snakes". You are braver than me!!!
Lots of posts since last night, yet seems like several gals and Peter are missing. Going in a little bit to the tailor to pick up my dress. Wishing everyone from A to Z a feel good day. Safe travels for those gals leaving today for Pinkstock. Hope to be back tonight. Hugs from Denver, Karen -
Anne, good to see you back, we've wondered about you!
Still trying to get the syrup out of my keyboard from Cheris post last night LOL Who called you the bad guy?? hum?? Obviously someone who doesn't know you very well!
Meaner, can I call you that? You are welcome to Chris M in the early years. He sure looks better with a little road on him.
Wild/Jan ..... thanks for the pics. You are in rare form these days! So glad to see you moving on after your treatments and the hair is looking good.
Marsha -
Good afternoon everybuddy. Another beautiful day in the Ozarks. I'm worried today but turned it over to
God and trying not to think about it. The doctor called yesterday and this is Ambers second bad pap. So she's at the dr. getting a referral for something. I'm not too pankicky because about 10 yrs ago i had some stage 2 cancer cells, not cancer just cells but they lazered them out and I was fine. So praying it isn't anything bad. I can take whatever life dishes out but not my baby.
Charlene, that was so sweet of you to hold my hand on thursday. I appreciate it. I just pray he tells me the xrays turned out healed.
Amy? Is that really you? Did you not get that my post last night was such a 'sweet' one because I had behaved badly before and I was trying to atone. I thought you knew me better than that. hahahaha
Boards been kinda quiet today. Guess everyone is packing and leaving for Pinkstock. I pray they're all safe and have a great time. I think there'll still be plenty of us staying home to get us through the week and week-end.
Mena, where are you? Last thing I knew we were pm-ing, then you were gone. Lets all go party at the party thread, somebody pick out a really good theme or place to go.
Hey to Gus, Boohhoo, Charlene, Janny, Gina, Vickie and everyone else from Amy on through.
pals
cheri -
Have you noticed a change Marsha? I guess I feel more like myself again, as close as to what the "Old" normal used to be. Maybe being able to get back on a bike/trike and taking a trip helped since we were both off of it exactly a year?
I'd like you guys to have some fun...make a motivational poster here.

Beautiful pics WildJan! I especially like the Tryke. I do beleive I could ride that thing. I could put Mena on the back and we could play "Born to Be Mild" real loud. hahahah
Cheri -
A pop in to say hi! Still have 3 1/2 more hours to go. Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Nicki -
Evening sisters, long time no post. I was really depressed about having my position at my company "eliminated" when no one elso was let go ( I really didn't want anyone else to go) Went through a serious funk, but put my big girl panties on and went out to find work at a convention and thinks look good again.
I start a new job tomorrow working out of my house selling plant material in the mid atlantic states. A salesman I have been purchasing from for many years and I were talking about my sitation and out of the blue he asked me to work for him!! He just started his own brokering company with another guy and never expected to hire anyone but when he heard I was avaiable, he called.
Life is good for me again, so when I get up in the morning, I just walk across my room to my office. No excuses for not checking in every am. Love to all xoxo -
Cheri-yep its me,,I didnt know you could be that nice is all even if you tried really really hard. Hmm, I'm thinking I want the old Cheri back cause she was much more fun. If somebody doesnt like it,,oh welllllllllllll. (I was thinking worse but held back.)
BTW Cheri-all joking aside,,hoping Amber is A-OK
Nicki-sneaking in a worktime hello are ya? Better watch it or you will be on the corner with me holding a cup begging for change.
Theresa-glad you got a new job and it sounds like its right up your alley.
WildJan-nice pics-I can tell you like to have fun.
Marsha-think that was really cheri? could she be that nice? hmmm. verdict is still out.
Amy -

Just thought I would share this with the Circle sisters, I've personally admired Robin Roberts for years.
ABC's Robin Roberts Has Breast Cancer
Robin Roberts Announces She Has Breast Cancer
"Good Morning America's" Roberts has breast cancer
NEW YORK - ABC "Good Morning America" anchor Robin Roberts discovered she had breast cancer after following her own advice about early detection in a story about former colleague Joel Siegel's cancer death. Roberts, who announced her diagnosis on Tuesday's show, will undergo surgery on Friday.
I am going to email her and tell her about the Circle and my sisters. -
One of our local female newscasters had breast cancer few years ago, they have info links on their website to help others. I found out about it accidently as the chemo place told me that is where she had her chemo and she gave them permission to share the info.
-
Happy birthday Christine...
-
Hi Z - nice to see you. I was getting ready to walk out the door this morning when Robyn made the announcement. I sat down to watch her report and felt all her emotions. Yes, now she is one of us. God I hate this disease. I'm going to also email her. Here is the link http://abcnews.go.com/ to her announcement.

Betty, don't let them get you down! Keep fighting back.
Denise, you were so funny telling the snake story, but I gotta say, I felt sorry for the snake. *slithers off*
Naniam, how kind of you to reach out to her. I was very much moved by the poem. Thank you.
Sheri, I always loved beginning of school. Enjoy.
Shirley, how are you all doing? Glad I don't have to worry about Bambi.
Suz, the heat and humidity here in So Fl are about to do me in, esp with my internal climate control issues. Sheesh. I used to love summer. Hope you get everything done.
Charlene, I sure hope nothing serious is found. I will be keeping you in my thoughts. I hope you have a great time with your family.
Liz, have a great time!

I have a lot to do to get ready for my long day tomorrow. Work is going well. I have a good number of applicants for one of the positions I have open, and I hired back a therapist I really wanted for another position, so I feel like I am on a roll.
All you Pinkstock girls, have a safe trip and a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear stories and see pics.
Sleep well my friends.
XXXOOO
Tricia -
Puppy - great to see you posting. I hope you are getting stronger every day.
Peter - Where are you? I hope you are okay.
Charlene - thanks. I always see the glass as half full, especially after dx. Life is so unpredictable and fragile I choose to not waste any precious time on negativity.
Wishing all the CG's who are going to Pinkstock a safe trip and lots of fun. What a once in a lifetime experience. Enjoy!
