If MB has any signal on her hill, and you want to e-mail us during the day....just let me know. I can PM you my e-mail addy and we can talk during the day (oe evening).
Madison -
Susan - After seeing Madison's Blackberry I want one now.
Sorry girls, MB said that cell and internet service is scarce. She did say that sometimes a signal could be picked up in the middle of the road or her neighbors driveway. LOL
Now back to try to read and see what's been going on today.
Hugs -
Evening all. Time to catch up.
Pam, now you tell me about the TP - could have used that tip last night!!! I didn't recall anything about the procedure - remember meeting the doctor and then I was being rolled out. They tell me I'm good for 10, yes 10, years.
Jankay,
Nicki, I don't think I was asleep but I don't remember a thing! Done now for quite awhile. I will keep you company during Pinkstock. Two years huh? I say light the candles, hop in the tub, turn out the lights, have that glass of wine, and go for it. The mind is a powerful aphrodisiac.
Charlene, thanks for the update on CY; she is missed here.
G, I could see you in the candy apple red Mustang flying around town.
Z, glad to see you dropped in.
Shokk, are the crickets as bad as Nicki says? Ewwwwww. A shiver goes mup my spine just thinking about it.
Marisa, welcome. I've seen you post on a few other threads. Glad you made your way here.
Cheri, hang in there - you are doing great on the non-smoking - 106 days!!!!!
Karen, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Roll call - who besides me and Nicki is not going to Pinkstock?
Vickie, it's hard to picture those storms when I was in a tshirt and shorts at the Gilroy Garlic Festival today; I didn't burn this time.
Ok, I see Sheri is staying behind too. Like your idea of our own cyber party.
Madison, I had a Blackberry Pearl and had a hard time with the roller ball. Is the Blackberry like that?
Back later.
Margaret -
Boy I'm getting bad at taking notes....or reading what I've wrote! So, we'll just do a general post tonight!!
Vickie: Hope the storms have moved on out.......sounds like you may need help from a 'nice' neighbor to get your stuff picked up!
Charlene: Glad the foot is doing better. Sounds like over all you are doing pretty darn good! Just don't do to good...you need to be pampered just a bit more!
Karen: Feeling better?
JanKay: I know you're a bit down........just try to remember how far you've come with your walking and swimming!! Chin up Dear.........you can do it!
Nicki: I'm in charge!! Like that one! You bet we will remember you at Pinkstock and make sure you get some goodies! TGIS......Love it!
How's that headache coming? Hopefully good enough to get you out of your 'quandry!'
I like 'nutty nurse nicki's constipation remedy........I'll have to try it and get back with you!
Marsha: No comments about the above!
Madison: I know you've been here, but don't know where! See you in a week!
Betty: Hope you are feeling better........the Boss sucks. A new job for you...........you work to hard not to be appreciated!
Lynn: Don't know if I have even welcomed you! Glad you joined us........we're crazy but lovable!
Alwayshope: Always glad to read your posts!
Pam: Thanks for the Puppy update! I am so glad she is doing so well.........and the headache is gone!!
Margaret: Have I seen a post from you?
Cheri: Sorry Amber got layed off..........more free time for you.......but I'm sure the money will be scarce for a while.
Surprise arrival with the DH, eh? Hope you had all the stud muffins gone and the evidence thrown away!!
Susan: All packed and ready to hit the road! How long of a drive is it for you?
Gina: That would be sooooo nice if you could come to PinkStock!! If you are up to it, we will make it happen!
Nicki: Still thinking and plotting to get you there!
Suz: Hey....see you in a week!
Peter: I do hope that we didn't run you off........you're not scared of us ladies are you? Also hope the infection is getting better and hope things are looking brighter for your brother.
Z: Problems at home? Sorry to hear that....you've been under enough stress at work. I miss your posts.
Cy: Can you slow down now and rest up before you hit the air for your trip to Pinkstock??!! We want you to enjoy yourself!
Cherryl: I think I remember (ya, right!) that you were going to be gone for a few days...have fun! Did Pinky make anyone happy yet??
Shirley: Still thinking of you and what your family is going through. Thanks for checking in and letting us know you made it.
Sheri: Sounds like you had a decent day with your 'school organizing!' You start up pretty soon don't you?
Liz: How's the arm? Think you may have overdone with the re-modeling?? See you real soon!
Okay, To all I've missed, it's cuz I'm brain dead....Hugs to you from Amy to Z!
Speaking of Amy......Hope you're doing okay. Still thinking of your family.
Colleen: Does Warren leave this weekend? He'll have a wonderful time..........and hopefully you can enjoy some down time, too!
See you all in the morning! I've got the 'last' of the beans in the fridge..atleast that's what the man is saying! Gotta get the buggers blanched and frozen. 4 zucchini on the counter waiting to be turned into something tomorrow! GD is coming over in the afternoon....maybe we will bake some zucchini cookies..(don't puke..they are good!) Been a long time since I've baked with a 3 year old!
Hugs,
Denise -
Shokk: How could I leave you out! Crickets...yucky....but they are good luck!
Margaret: Now I see a post from you!! Nice advice for Nicki! Hop in the tub, light the candles and drink the wine. I like my idea better though..........piss him off, claim a headache and go to sleep!!
Good Night!

Good evening everyone
I just had a wonderful visit with MB on the phone. Shes getting ready for Pinkstock and is anxiously awaiting everyones arrival. She did say to tell everyone who cant make it you will truly be missed. I agree.
Betty I hope youre feeling better. I think you just overdid and with the stress your boss caused you it did you in. Take care of yourself and rest.
Jan (wah) I think I mentioned earlier but cant promise that I did that Im not far from you. Im in Ponca City. I have met several others from Oklahoma here also. So nice to meet you and I look forward to getting to know you.
Jankay Okay Janice Kay you are a strong, determined and hard headed woman. I know you are sick of being in the chair. I also know that you are doing fantastic at PT and you will continue to get better. I just know it. Big Hugs
Gus cant wait to meet you. Hmmm I think I need a laptop. LOL
Nicki I love the cat and the guitar. My dad was in a band when I was young and enjoyed going to watch them play. I sure miss him. You are a wonderful nurse and you will find the perfect job for you. Sorry you pooped out today, you just need to rest.
Ill be taking digital pics and have extra memory cards. Youll be overwhelmed with pictures! Sorry I dont get to meet you when I change planes just not enough time now. Youll have to plan on coming to next years gathering.
Marsha congrats! Your plans sound like so much fun. Im glad you get to go. Please give Shirley a big hug and smooch for me.
Marisa nice to meet you. Your mom is lucky she has such a wonderful supportive daughter and friend. You have found the perfect spot to come laugh, play, cry, whine, throw things etc.
Pam thanks for the update on Puppy. Im glad her head doesnt hurt and theyre keeping her until everything checks out perfect.
CY you amaze me. You are in chemo and still manage to do so much. I hope you get to rest and relax during Pinkstock. We will pamper you.
Cheri Im sorry Amber lost her job. That just stinks. As far as DH ranting etc. I sometimes think Aliens get into mens heads and they just take over. I usually just look at mine and start laughing. That doesnt usually go over well though. Glad he went to bed and you have some quiet now. Good for you for throwing the cigarettes. Hang in there, I know its tough.
Karen hope you are feeling better now. Im sure you were miserable.
Jasmine so is this the beginning of your vacation or do you work Monday/Tuesday?
Vickie wow sounds like you live in Oklahoma. Please be safe and make sure you dont get hurt. Im so sorry you have so much damage. Compost is good. I actually like the idea. Dont stress out getting it cleaned up it will be there until its done. Gentle hugs and I hope you have a restful night.
Sheri oh my! What do they expect you to do with all the stuff in the room? Surely theres someplace else they can store it.
Gina I looked at the mustangs before I bought my car. I love cherry red cars. Hope your Mr. gets fixed properly this time. Drive safe!
Margaret Im glad you dont have to do the colonoscopy for 10 years. I wrote down about the pills. Well miss you at Pinkstock with everyone else.
Lynn Ive never had any problems with my arm before. It could be overuse and sore muscles. Ill just have to wait and see. Glad you are getting a new sleeve. Nothing should interfere with our play time.
Susan you, dh and your puppy travel safe. See you soon.
Denise zucchini cookies. Ive never had those. Love the bread though. Yes, I think Ive overdone and have really made this arm mad. I also have a torn rotator cuff on the same side thats hurting again. I need this vacation to Pinkstock. LOL
Shokk an old Texas wives tale is that killing a cricket inside the house is bad luck. My mother to this day will not do it. I cant imagine having so many that youre having to walk on them. I have had fried crickets. I know ICK but they taste like French fries. I did it for a TV/radio promotion thing when I worked there.
I know Ive missed many and Im so sorry. I didnt take good notes and cant read some of them.
Hugs and Prayers to you all,
Liz -
Liz - FRIED CRICKETS uggghhhhh. and you ate them!!! Oh the thought even makes me queezy. I know - I'm a wimp but I insects are not on my menu.
Puppy - Hear you are better today. That is so wonderful. Praying for each day to be better.
Shirley - You are in my prayers during this very sad time.
I won't be at Pinkstock either so add me to the list. Actually I will be out of town for 3 weeks starting the 1st. Don't think I will have any board access. Oh my that will be tough.
Cheri - Now listen here. Don't you dare have a ciggaret. You are my stop smoking hero. If you give in after over 100 days I will completely lose faith in the belief that it will get easier with time. You see today is day 14 for me without a cig. Haven't said anything cause I failed so misserably last time I tried. So hang tough. I need a good example to follow.(Am I making you feel guilty enough yet?)LOL Love ya
Well I skimmed but didn't get to read back on all I missed.Sending hugs and sweet dreams to all.
Sue -
Hi Peter We've missed you
-
Hi Peter - where ya been? LOL
Sue - it was a challenge type thing, I was on live TV and didn't want to whimp out. I just didn't think about what it was. Would I do it again? Only for big money! -
Stopping in to wish all a good night and Peter a good morning.
Madison -
Boo, you're doing so great! Two weeks is great! Don't you dare smoke. You have it whipped now. I am so proud of you.
pals
cheri -
Good evening sisters and brother,
Seems I get on here later and later. Tired but can't stay away.
I feel llke this isn't cyberspace but the real world. So grate-
ful to have such a wonderful family.
Another long day finally over... another long one tomorrow if the
Lord allows it.
Jankay, the funnies were indeed incredibly funny. I was
truly laughing out loud in my office. I hope today was kinder
to you and that you feel better this evening. A soft, gentle
hug headed your way.
Vickie.. so sorry about the mess in the yard. Perhaps tomorrow
morning in the early light your neighbor will surprise you
and clean up your yard... or come over and make you
think he did...lol. Could he be the reason for all the late
night swims? (in your nightie no less)
Glad you stuck your head in Mate! Hope to see more of you back
in here.
So sleepy i must go.... love to all from A to Z and special hugs
to jankay, CY, Puppy, Shirley and anyone else in need!!
g'night my friends and sisters!
Pam -
Liz I have the same reaction about husbands. Sometimes I think he has been taken over by an Alien and when I laugh he gets mad. go figure. well you will get to meet my alien at pinkstock. you will have to wait to meet cheri's alien sometime later.
Boo, two weeks congratulations!!!!!! You hang in there, ok!!! I am proud of you too.
What Amber lost her job? what?? howcome?
shokk how many crickets are in your house? you are stepping on them? I must missed something somewhere. We have huge numbers of cicadas. they are so loud but at least they are not inside the house.
Jankay, more big hugs for you. I hope your day is a little better. -

gm sunshine sisters and hello long lost brother
things do seem to be going better, and Liz u know me so well-ty
Pt went alot better, so much so that my therapist told me to bring my suit on tuesday, areward for bouncing back.
My therapist is from polAnd andis very good. He, like liz, knows me well. today i will be starting yoga, took classes before and the teacher got pregnant and had to guit teaching. Pam if u need more jokes there are alot i cant post on the boards.
take care janice -
Good Morning (and good night Peter...sending the sandman
your way with special sleep dust).. we all understand!
Could it be that today is the day I am a sunshine girl?
NOT. LOL I have risen, but I am not shining. (Makes me remember when I was a little girl and Daddy would wake
us on Sunday mornings with "Rise and Shine!", followed by
a loud chorus of "Get up, get up the sun is up, the dew
is on the buttercup" He had a real gravelly voice and my
sister and I always put our pillows over our heads to
drown it out before we eventually ended up laughing at him.) Sweet memories.
Jankay...what is "bouncing back?" Forgive my ignorance.. but do have a curious mind. The jokes you can't post on
here are the funniest I am sure, and I will reciprocate in kind. So glad you did better today.
Reading about the crickets remind me of the plagues in
Egypt before the Israelites were freed by Pharoah. Does
this happen every year?
It is another very cloudy day here and I am suited to the mood of it. The biggest sunshine for me is that my Miles
will be home in a bit until tomorrow evening. Just hope
I can keep my cool and not cry this weekend. It has been
a tough week and I would love to be off today.
Hope all is well with all of you. Nice to see more of you posting. I don't think I welcomed all of you newcomers, but welcome! We are glad to have you here with us.
Looking forward to maybe Puppy going home today. I better get moving so I can get to work on time. How did the end
of the month get here so fast????
Hugs and love from A to Z !!
Pam -
Peeking my head out of the pissy tent to say good morning all. My my we had a quiet night last night. where is everyone?
Cloudy and gray at this end of the circle. I guess I'll start some coffee and breakfast and maybe wake a few of you sweet girls up. Good morning Jankay...wanna give me a hand. I think french toast, bacon, homefries, scrambled eggs and of course cinammon rolls for all this morning.
Good night Peter...don't know how you're going to sleep with the smell of all this wonderful food!
Boo...yippee and congratulations on two weeks! Cheri was my "guit smokin hero" too and so far so good. Not to say I don't want one every now and then (like last night lookin at my yard LOL)but I've held out.
Susan...thank you! I really appreciate it.
Nicki...where are you my sunshine sister?
Hoping for a wonderful day for all...I of course have tons to do. Gonna make a list and see what REALLY needs to be done and say to heck with the rest. Probably lose the list but oh well.
Love and hugs to everyone
Vickie -
Ahhh...sweet Pam you are our sunshine girl this morning too. I'll do my best to keep you from crying this weekend. Love ya and big hugs your way.
-
Pray for us today dear friends. Today is the funeral. The viewing was last night. Watching my sister sob over the body of her son was probably the saddest thing I have ever experienced. I feel powerless.
I'll check in tomorrow. -
Popping in before work.
Shirley - Oh I am so sad for you. Sitting here with tears because I can just imagine the pain of losing a son. It has to be the hardest thing in life to lose a child. Praying for you, your sister and all the family for strength and peace.
Many gentile hugs,
Sue -
OH Shirley...I am so very sorry. For you and your entire family. Sending lots of prayers for you all. Lump in my throat over just the thought of what you are all going through right now.
love and hugs
Vickie -
Shirley
we will all be with you today. I think it will take the magic carpet, my scooter and mazor but we will be there with you. My prayers are with you my dear friend.
Pam-bouncing back is what i call it when i do bad andhave a hard time-so when ido better i say i am bouncing back.
i will see if i can keep u from crying today so u can feel better, u have been throu a lot and u will probably never get over it, but laughter can make it easier. -
Morning All....I feel like the drive-by poster these last few weeks. Sending all hugs and warm wishes. ...anyway...off to drive to the folks house.
Shirley, sending hugs to you and your family. I will keep you all close to my heart today and pray for strength and peace. We realize we can't be there with you and your family, but sincerely hope you can feel our love through the miles.
Vickie, please be careful when you clean up the damage at your home - no scratches or cuts allowed!!!!
Morning Boo, Pam, Jankay....I know Nicki is probably making coffee right now.....Have a good rest Peter.
Cheri, it is hard to not smoke with family members do smoke (DH still smokes in front of me)....hummmm sometimes I want to put water on his cigs....anyway hugs to you and dear Amber (losing a job is tough).
Susan, be careful driving to Pinkstock.
Liz, a few more days....then we are in the air,
Pam, so happy you are posting often....and giving us updates on Puppy.
Puppy, big gentle hugs to you.....when I return tonight, hopefully you will be home resting.
Boo, congrats on 2 weeks....it is so hard....
Margaret, glad to colonoscopy is over .and all went well. Had mine in December-go back in 5 years.
Shokk, I have been reading about Texas and crickets .and eating them or crunching them under your feet ..This may be one of those tall Texas tales!!!
Betty, sounds like your nerves need a rest .a hostile work environment is never good. We spend more waking hours with co-workers than we do with family
Cy, Gus, Denise - onward to Pinkstock
Marsha, congrats on the house sale .I do closings and post-closings all day long and the end of the month is always crazy
Karen and Charlene, do hope you are feeling better. I have been keeping up with your progress. Take care and please rest.
Sheri, good luck with teaching .and cleaning your room ..organization is the key to a good work environment (well, maybe-cause you should see my office lol)
Amy, how is Mazer and all doing?
Well, my time is up and I have got to hit the road to the folks ..be back tonight for another drive-by post. DD finished her bar exam yesterday. The class was drinking champagne in the parking lot after the exams. Daughter moves to new city tomorrow (Mom-can you help me move and rent me a U-Haul so ready for this one to be independent)
Sending hugs from Amy to Z -
Morning all.
Boo, congrats on the non-smoking. What a great job you are doing. Keep it up.
Peter, you've been missed. Welcome back. Hope you get some sleep soon.
Jankay, you sound like today is a better day. Hope things are going well.
Pam, soft, gentle hugs to you.
Vickie, I'm up and I'll be over - yum, breakfast sounds great this morning, especially the cinnamon rolls. Hope the neighbor has surprised you and cleaned up your yard.
Shirley, our prayers are with you and your family today.
Madison, they have you go back in five years for a colonoscopy? Mine said 10, which I find surprising.
BBL, going to breakfast at Vickie's.
Margaret
