TIME TO CIRCLE THE WAGONS GIRLS

Hi gang! I talked to Puppy yesterday and I will know tonight when I talk to her dh how she is doing. Depending on which surgery she gets, she will be in a mdically induced coma so that she keeps still. She said it will be for about 24 hours. I will get more details from dh.
She did spend some time yesterday with her sister who also lost a family pet of 12 years. But we got onto better subjects and she sounded upbeat and anxious for the wait to be over.
I do wish we all lived right around the corner from each other so we can all hold onto one another for real instead of just cyberspace. But for right now, we will be rooting for our Puppy to get through this!
{{{{PUPPY}}}} We are all joined in prayer for you, now and always. -
Everybody see the thread MizSissy started titled: Puppy is Out of Surgery & Doing Great!!!
Sounds like very good news and she was even talking to her DH! -
I just saw it after my post! Charlene, it sounds very promising!
-
Yes Angel, the news is good. I posted as much as I know in a new thread...
http://community.breastcancer.org/ubbthr...true#Post663055
They were only able to do fix one of the aneurysms, but will go back for the other three later. But they did a non-invasive procedure, so recovery should be fast.
We're gonna party tonite!!!! Woohoo!!
Mizsissy -
I am so happy I can barely stand it. Thank God! Be back later ladies (and Peter).

Good Afternoon Girls,
OK, I went for some golf therapy and I am not pouting anymore. Thank you to all those who offered advice. I am writing this on Word and then will do the copy/paste thing. See if I can still follow my notes from this morning, lol.
{{{PUPPY}}} and prayers for you. Saw that the first surgery has gone well and hope your pain is reduced.
Holly So sad about Feathers but what a great gift you both had in her last day. I also had my retriever cross put down about two weeks ago. Her leg broke walking down some stairs and they think it was cancer related and unable to fix. Such a hard decision and I wasnt even home to be with her. Hubby stayed with her to the end, dear man. I still look around expecting her to be there. Hugs for you and your family.
Liz-good thing you were at the store for that girl. Hope she remembers to eat before shopping now. Is this the bathroom job from a couple of months ago? Is it a complete redo? That is quite an undertaking, kudos.
Nicki-well I dont know if it qualifies for a happy anniversary but so glad you are here if not for the manner in which we had to get here! You make us all happy with your posts. NO HUMPY means lie down!! ROTFLMAO! Think my DH could learn that??
Vicki-I have Mr Icky written down. Trying to remember. OOOOHHH yeah, glad you could get your point across to him even with his son there, the sneaky guy. You are way too busy. I am so envious of all you guys going to Pinkstock. Is it going to become an annual?? Maybe next year.
Mandy- know you are on holidays now, maybe youll go to a computer café to keep in touch. You are so funny. Loved the shirt logo. They need to think up something for us one boobed wonders not doing recon and not wearing prosthesis (cant stand it, feels weird, have found that button up shirts cover up ok for me so that is usually all I wear now). Have a great vacation and I hope the chemo doesnt cause any problems.
Karen-glad to hear youre doing better. Careful with the meds and make sure you eat too.
DebC- Poop Police/Queen of Poop-dubious titles to be sure but I had a good chuckle reading all the references. Marsha, what did you get in the mail, sounds stinky! Have a great week and a safe trip Deb.
Tricia- yep, a jerk shield would be great. Maybe one of our picture procurers could find one.
Carrie-hugs and prayers and chants of B9 for this new lump. Man, once should be enough for all of us.
NS-keeping you in the center and surrounded with love and prayers. October cant come soon enough. Thank you for creating this wonderful spot.
Margaret-hope the scope was uneventful and that you enjoyed a good breakfast.
Denise-loved the support pick. Will have to show it to my DH.
Madison-best of luck to your daughter. Did I see that you have one a vet also! Wow. Smart girls, probably smarter Mom! Lol
Brenda-congrats on new grandbaby to come. I told my daughters to wait until I was at least 50 (next year) before making me a grandma. They dont seem to be in any hurry anyhow.
Joyce-happy anniversary. Glad to hear that things are going better for Kevin.
Shokk-that fire looked scary (yep even made the Canadian news) Glad you were out of range of those canisters.
{{{Shirley}}}-safe trip, hugs and prayers for you and your sister.
Peter-thanks for letting us know about Z. Hope your brothers meds have got things sorted out again. Sleep well.
Cheri-Aug 2 only a week away. Praying for a walking cast for you.
Boo/Sue- prayers for your friend Mel, and for you.
{{{Betty}}}
Z-glad to see you posted, Prayers for you and your family that things will smooth out.
OK, I think I got it all, now to see if I can do the copy paste thing.
To all I missed, I am thinking of you too. I say prayers for all the Circle Family every day.
Lynn -
Yippee, it worked. Thanks again for the help on that.
Love and hugs to all,
Lynn -
Thanks for the puppy update! Glad to hear the surgery is over.
Lynn-glad I am not the only one that didnt recon and walks around boobless. We need our own shirts, I agree. Maybe thats a job for us.
Deb-you make me tired just reading your post. slow down girlfriend.
Shokk-glad to hear a little gas explosion didnt slow you down. You texans are just tough cookies I believe.
Betty-sorry about the boss crap. She seems like a real loser that enjoys putting others down to build herself up. Good luck on the job search.
Nicki-a pt job? You gotta be kidding.
Cheri-sorry about the feelings of not being able to get out. I cant imagine it. I would go postal I do believe. Lets see, cooped up, in wheelchair, not smoking, you dont drink..yep postal I would be.
Holly-so sad about feathers. Sending you big hugs! I'm a mess when something happens to one of my animals.
Colleen-thinking of Warren and his upcoming travels. He is going to have so much fun.
Susan-the right job will come along no doubt. Hang in there.
Shel-glad to see you stopping by for a chat. Missed ya!
Pam-you were up early today. Thats impressive! Not me, it took all I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. It might help if I tried to be alseep before midnight though.
Had a filling to come out of my tooth so its dentist in store for me. Grrrr, I hate dentist and I know it will be a crown now. YUCK!
ok got to get some afternoon work done here. I hope to return.

Great news about Puppy, glad to hear it.
Susan, hey.

Shel, good to see you posting.
Charlene, thank you, you are such a sweetheart and so clever.
Lynn, glad you learned how to save a post. I still lose them and it does make me angry.
Margarette, good luck on your procedure. Let us know how you are when you feel like it.
Karen, glad you are doing alright, get plenty of rest.
Z, happy to see you posting. Sorry you're having problems at home.

Nicki, hahaha I mentioned awhile back that your posting habits had changed and said I thought you had another job. I do love to be right....I so seldom am. hahah
Betty, if it is financially feasible, tell her to 'take this job and shove it'
Mena, come on out and play. I tagged you last.

Hi all, I'm back. Tired but it's done. Those of you that are 50 and over, watch out - I'm bugging you to have it done.
I saw the message that Puppy's surgery went well.
Vickie, thanks for holding my hand. I definitely did not want to do it but it's done for anothe 10 years.
Gus/Sue, Your hubby is right, the prep is worse than the procedure.
Holly, I'm so sorry about Feathers. Remember her last hours and how free she was - you're right, it was a gift.
Lynn, open up Notepad or Word so you can type as you scroll down the bc.org site. When you are finished reading (and typing), press select all to highlight everything, control and c key to copy from Notepad/Word, go to the last box, press control and v to paste and hit continue.
He he he - I just woke up - 2 hours later laptop on my legs.
Hope all is well with everyone. -

Woohoo Nicki! I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed. This might be just the change you need in your life right now. Big hugs!
Margaret -- glad you are home and doing well.
Bayyore -- I'm so sorry about your dog. People who don't have pets are really missing out on unconditional love that they provide. -
Bayyore, I can't help crying reading your description of your doggy's "swan song", as we say in French, to refer to last "high" before the final down... I love all dogs, but Golden retrievers are a breed apart. Very close friends of ours, and neighboors, just lost their 11 year-old Golden retriever and it was heart breaking, too, because she went exactly that way: still very much into life things, good appetite and all, and then, could not get up... I still cry just thinking of all our deceased dogs, and I am grateful to them for those tears because, I must admit, the list is short of people whose disparition would bring so much grief...
Thank you for giving us this wonderful vision of a happy dog before the big sleep. I have been thinking about you often, hoping your family life regained serenity and good companionship... wishing you the best,
Big hugs to you from another dog worshipper...
CatherineH -
well hello circle sisters...I posted our happy dance guy for Puppy in her party thread. I am so relieved that she came through ok. Come post some funnies for her to read when she gets home...she wanted us to party for her so party it is!
Cheri...come on party girl...drag Peter along LOL. Please don't let him wear a sexier dress than me though.
Jasmine...missed talking to you (and Cheri and Jankay) today. Work is overwhelming and I have to get everything caught up before Pinkstock.
Margaret...welcome home...get some rest. Did they give you any results?
Nicki...good luck tomorrow!
Odalys...where are you?
Tricia...where are you?
MIA girls...come out and play for a bit.
I'll be back...love and hugs all around.
Vickie -
Karen, and all of you with body aches from AI, did you see this thread:
Body aches stop by eliminating Nightshade vegies?
I learnt a word today: never heard of nighshade veggies before...
Have all a nice evening (and party on Puppy's thread)...
CatherineH -
Nicki, you go girl - will be thinking of you tomorrow on that interview.
Cheri, don't worry, I'll make sure I bug you about it. We're going to have to have a big party to celebrate.
Vickie, I got the all clear - they saw nothing so I don't have to go back for 10 years.
CatherineH, I read that this morning. Have you tried it yet?
I got this today so thought I would post it. The story is a child with cancer; however, it's applicable to other situations, not just cancer.

Evening all, I did see where Puppy had great results with her surgery. I am so happy for her. One step at a time.
Holly, I cried when I read about Feathers. I love the fact that she planned her last day and you spent it having such fun and making lasting memories. I'm so sorry she's gone.
Margaret, I have to make an appt. for mine when I get back from Pinkstock. Yes, I had to do the liquid prep for my ooph. I was very sick so will have to talk to the doc about that.
Nicki, you are a wonderful nurse. You will be a wonderful asset to this assisted living facility. You will have a job that is closer to home. I think this was meant to be.
Jasmine, how are the allergies?
Madison, I have squares but will wait until after Pinkstock to mail them. Or do you want me to mail them anyway?
Cheri, you're just a young pup as is Vickie, Mena and so many others here.
I've missed many to Hugs and Prayers from A to Z.
Liz -
Liz, ask the dr about the pills - I can't imagine drinking the goop - I wouldn't have done it. I really did not realize the dr was behind me at all so I won't be as afraid if I have to do it again, plus, by that time, maybe they will have something else down pat that works; i.e., swallowing the little camera.
Margaret -
(((((sisters and Peter)))))
I am so relieved Puppy is doing so well. Ed explained the procedure to me and how well it went and it is so amazing what they can do. Puppy is fortunate to be near a teaching hospital with all the latest! Who would ever believe they could repair an aneurysm with a catheter and a coil? AMAZING. God Speed Puppy... let Jesus keep the wheel (And don't keep Pammy in the dark so she won't worry.... man I hate that)
Nicki... do you ever sleep? I work a lot of hours and I never feel like I catch up. Of course a little depression is always good for feeling tired.
So good for Mena to be out and about. She is over at Puppy's party, or was a bit ago.
Lots of good news today. Sorry to be short, but gotta headback to the party thread. Cheers to Puppy!!
MizSissy, thanks for posting info on Puppy. I got to talk to Ed myself when I got home from work and he said our girl was sitting up in bed talking and eating. YOU GO PUPPY!!!!!!
Also, thanks for the link to the memorial for Shirley's nephew. (((((Shirley))))) the days will be long for a while. Know we are here with you.
Peter.. are you around? Come on out and play... mate! ha\
Pam -
Well crap, my "bad" arm has been hurting for the past two days. Just found broken blood vessels in it. Guess I've been using it too much.
Margaret - thanks, I'll ask him. All he can do is say no! LOL -
Margaret.. forgot to say how proud I am for you getting that colonoscopy. After my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer, we all had to have one. I did have to drink the goop and threw up a lot of it and had to start again. I would love pills!!
A helpful hint someone gave me (after my procedure, unfortunately). Keep some Mylanta in the fridge. Know how it is good for stomach acid? By the end of all that
cleaning out it feels like liquid fire! ( I know, TMI)
Anyway... my friend Melody said a little Mylanta on the
toilet paper works wonders! Just thought I'd throw that in.
The happy meds at the hospital were wonderful and I don't recall anything about the procedure (except for telling the doc not to touch my butt til I went to sleep)
Anyway... I have another one when I am 50... a little over 2 years away... maybe that camera thing will be ready by then!!
((Madison)) where have you been? Have missed you so.
gott go party... love you all
