Thanks for the website Lisa...gonna check it out.
Okay Vickie, I'll try and drum a tall, dark, handsome, caring, rich man for you for the weekend. You know what they say, "If the trailers rockin, don't come knockin!"
Later to all!
Denise -
Dropping in at lunch to say hi; if I don't there are too many posts to read at night.
Shirley, when we retire, hubby is going to have the four car garage - so if he's not golfing, that's where I'm putting him so we don't interfere with each other. Shirley, I barely have time to read this space let alone start another with myspace! I'll think about it though.
Mandy, I used to be a clean freak and as the kids and hubby got older, the dust seemed to linger longer. Now I get to have a cleaning lady, which my son pays for since he doesn't pay rent/food/nada, nothing. He complained about it the other day and I told him I could bundle it into the rent. He shut up.
Karen, I need that bubble wrap on the magic carpet, especially when Cheri drives. I sure am sore on boot camp days.
Wild/Jan, I like that, I forget who used it but that's what I'm going to use for you since we have two Jans.
Nicki, hope the job you saw works out for you. You never know, sounds like you were supposed to see it.
Liz, how was the retail therapy?
Colleen, it wasn't pad thai I made but it was a salad, and it was really good. Someone made larb which was really good and she's going to give us the recipe. I will definitely make that again; she said she cooked it at 11:00 am, showered, and was at the cooking club at 12:00 pm, that's how easy it's supposed to be.
Suzfive, that scan sounds like what I need since that dreaded colonoscopy is Thursday.
Mandy, this is for you:
Cheri, I've seen my son's myspace and he even has a song he wrote on there. I don't look.
Back to work. Love you all.
Margaret -
Pinkstock is sounding like more fun all the time LOL...make sure he can't talk Denise!
I am so buried here at work...I guess it's really nasty outside, rainy and gray...good sleeping weather!
Love ya all

Hummm, wonder where everyone is at. Pretty slow day on here.

Good Afternonn Everyone: Well from my picture, let me just say I had a terrible day. My administrator and assistant administrator talked to me - telling me Im getting too involved with the patients. Now mind you, this is because when I went with her to her doctor she complained about the care and the food for 1 1/2 hours. Was very disappointed in a tomato and mozzarella cheese salad that we served. She got one tomotoe and one piece of cheese. So on Friday. I went to an Italian Deli and got her capri tomotoes with balls of mozzarella. We both got a good laugh and she loved me getting it. I swear, Im much better off just going out to the hospitals and coming home early. So thats my frustrating story for the day.
And of course, even though it has bee a slow day, there are 2 pages of posts for me to read and I cant do it now.
I did get a laugh though. All of you are so funny inviting me to be your myspace friend. Now I have to figure out how to find the time for that.
Anyways, hoping by now Karens surgery is over and sending lots of love her way.
Send hugs to all of you too - not an early day tomorrow, so Ill see ya in the morning.
Nicki -
Dear friends, My family needs your prayers right now. My sister just called a bit ago with the news that my nephew (19) was found dead in his car this morning. The assumption is a drug overdose but an autopsy is being preformed today to verify.
I am so sad that I am going to miss Pinkstock but I must go to be with my sister. -
Dear Shirley,
I just read and posted to you on the Pinkstock site. I am truly, heartbroken with your news. You, your sister and your entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
Denise -
Hi Nicki-sorry that you had a bad day;sounds like you did a really kind act and that is wonderful. I used to get that all the time in teaching, taking it to personally. Glad I did and glad to know you;Nicki.I watched an elderly,nicely-dressed lady as she struggled at the opthamal's off this aft. She was so polite and finally, got herself situated-others were helping;just small deeds of kindness are great. Anyway, took home ec in 9th gr and it ruined me for life;rather have had agric w/boys-those were the 60's;reminded me w/your post a few days ago. Horrible tchr and horrible one size fits all attitude then;hope it is not that way now Time traveling here...
Enjoy the evening;morning,Peter.

going to walk the perimeter of our sad little circle tonight and see who needs hugs and extra attention.
Have to stop and see my dear friend Shirley first...be safe sweet sister. We will miss you dearly at Pinkstock but you will be in our hearts and prayers. Not sure when you are leaving for Florida but try to get some sleep.
Going to see how our girls in the center are doing. Angel...now look here missy...I see you posting again. Now don't get me wrong...I love to see you posting but you had better be resting too. I'll tickle the babies and make em giggle for you and tuck them in. Sweet, no pain, peaceful night to you.
Puppy...so glad you got your pictures. He loves having his picture taken so I have lots of them LOL. Keeping you in my prayers for Thursday...get ready for the magic carpet ride and know that we will all be with you and holding your hand.
Amy...yup...got you in the center too. Just gonna sit with you and Mazer for a minute and give you a hug. No tears now...deep breath...know that you are loved here.
CY...how are things going with you? Haven't seen you (may have missed it) but worry just the same. I posted on your myspace today. Hope you are feeling well and I'm tucking you in with an extra hug.
Karen...very gentle hugs to you and hope that all went very well today. We will be wondering until we hear from you. Sending love and wishes for sweet happy painless sleep.
Gina...October before your done! Oh my...I'm so sorry. I so wish I could get the time to come to NYC. I know that the college has trips in the winter that come down and go to various places so maybe I could hop on one of those and you can meet me for a Broadway show. Tucking you in with a hug.
Mena...haven't seen you in a while...you are still in the center and we are holding your hand all the time. Sleep tight.
Now on to the outer circle to see what's up...
Denise has no undies!!! heehee...oh you just wait till Pinkstock missy. Myspace is fun you should give it a try.
Sheri...I will add you to my yahoo IM tomorrow.
Jankay...I have you on my yahoo IM but wasn't on today...got seriously buried at work...scary. Sweet dreams and see you in the mornng sunshine girl.
Aww Nicki...To involved huh? I could say a few choice words about that but they would get deleted....lets just say thats like being told you're too nice! Tell em to kiss off. I just have no patience for stuff like that anymore. Tucking you in and swiping hubbys remote so you can sleep in the peace and quiet!
Suz...oh my a colonscopy for you too! What is this an epidemic! Now I'm afraid to go for my checkup. Geez. Hugs and happy dreams.
Margaret is in her wagon wondering if she should attempt a myspace account...come on Margaret...it's fun! Truly. I haven't figured it out yet and my daughter does most of mine. Nighty night.
Cheri...LOL...My DD myspace is a bit risque too...her best friend has her password and she has her best friends password so they go back and forth and change each others space all the time...its actually kinda funny but I tend to stay away...sometimes i just don't wanna know LOL. I am thankful that most of it is made up though.
Madison, Odalys, Tricia, Lisa, Liz, Susan, Deb, Shel, Vera (come on...I know you were here...come visit with us a while you little snot you!), Gus, Colleen...awww heck...falling asleep...everyone...have a wonderful night and sweet dreams...
an angel to watch over us all tonight
Love and hugs

Sweet ladies and gent-
Its only Monday, and its already been a hard week. We lost a sweet man from our church on Sunday to the beast. He had been fighting cancer so hard, for so long. At least now he can rest.
I was helping at vacation bible school today at church and his widow, Judy came in to the church to make some plans for the funeral. She is such a sweet lady anyway; we have the whole church decorated like a giant space station complete with flashing lights and robots. I was talking to our pastor about timing so we could get all the decorations down for the funeral and Judy came in and laughed a real belly laugh. She said not to move a thing we would just give Dick a cosmic blast-off straight up too heaven! She seems so strong and at peace amazing.
Shirley- I really dont have any great words of wisdom or comfort for you and your family. I hope it helps to know we have you wrapped in a hug that stretches, literally, around the world.
It is raining a fine misty kind of rain tonight. I think I will go for a bit of a walk and listen to see if the coyotes are out in the field below my house.
Peace
Deb C -
Shirley - Oh I am so sorry to hear about your nephew. Sending up prayers for strength and peace for you and your family.
Hugs,
Sue
