Good morning friends. Hope everyone had a good night's rest.
Charlene - you are such a good mom. God bless you. Glad to see you are feeling better. Please don't over do it. We had a great time at your party last night. Dont' worry about the mess, I'm sending my cleaning lady to take of it.
I'll be back later. Steven wants me to go get him some breakfast from MCDonald's. -
Morning All
It's a beautiful day here today, and I'm going to spend the entire day with Warren - we're going to clean the guinea pig cage (yuck), and then head to the neighborhood pool to meet some friends. Hope everyone has a great day! -
Good morning all. It is cool and cloudy here this morning after a run of sunny weather. It actually feels kind of good...like I can slow down for a second and sit. I always feel like I need to be outside when it is sunny, like i don't want to waste the sunshine
Let's see...what do I have going today?? I have to finish making some props for a play my kids are in for vacation bible school next week, go to church, take Dh to the rental house to paint, take the kids to play practice, get groceries, pick up the kids and then take them to a friend's rodeo for the afternoon, and then head home to say goodbye to my aunt nadine who is flying home to Michigan today....whew BUSY
I have been reading back and think I got caught up on most the news. Charlene, glad to see you are feeling so chipper, but don't do TOO much.
Has anyone heard from Amy? I know she must be swamped with details and stuff to do.
Amy, if you are reading I'm sending you a bunch of hugs and prayers.
It seems like there are a bunch of girls missing, but I'm going to think positive and assume they are all just out enjoying summer.
I really do have to run. I may be back this evening...
Bugs and fishes
Deb C -
Good Morning,
Missing all of you. I have been reading the posts. I use my thumb on the track wheel to scroll up and down to read posts. Think I've developed a callus on my thumb lol
Sending hugs to all from Georgia
(Can't get into the possible cruise thread (don't have javascript on Blackberry)....what is the verdict? Are our CG's interested?
See you soon. Hugs from A to Z -
well my goodness you all made quite a mess at Charlenes house. Sure hope her sister isn't too annoyed when she wakes up cause I'm guessing she's the one who's gonna clean it up.
Happy Sunday everyone.
Margaret I don't do buttons either. Or hems. Ativan, a very good idea, think I'll call and ask for 1 just one before mine. Hmmmmmm the dentist gave me 2. I was in happy land for hours.
Odalys, 50 hours? yikes.
O my gosh Denise, you and hubby so need to do a reality show.
I think that was a perfect compliment. Good for him.
MySpace is the second best place to hang out on the web. Go to www.myspace.com and sign yourself up.
Cherryl, glad you ahd a good time.
Vicki, I saw Sarahs pics on myspace. She was a gorgeous bride. The beach in California in November is not the best place to be. But all the mistiness did make for some really good photos.
Have I ever said how much I enjoy your fairy pictures. My youngest looks like an elf. Pointy ears and all. I've always told him God made him look like an elf cause He knows how much I love fantasy stuff.
Hi Gina
Liz, I'm getting the impression this bathroom is of TajMahal proportions. How much more work to do?
Christine, 9 days!!!!
Good morning Mandy, Iris, and Jankay
Cheri, hate it when I take long naps. Always wake up feeling worse then when I layed down.
Middle Aged Cow? Hmmmmmmm But I see Peter is offering you gifts so I guess all is well.
Pam, blew out the motherboard? UHOH, guess that means you get a to be on vacation till it gets fixed?
Peter, I've heard rumors that Aussies know how to party. Now I see its true.
Nicki, failed sewing? hmmmmm thats ok cause I failed everything else. Math, English, Biology(twice), and on and on. Even wrecked a car in drivers ed. Passed that one but the teacher never let me drive again. Lets just say I was a bit distracted in high school. Senior year I had to take correspondent courses just to get enough credits to graduate. I did however get a B in PE cause the coach was an old letch and us girls just had to show up in shorts for a B. Which wasn't a difficult task in Florida.
Get yourself a myspace page my dear.
I used to be a Stephen King addict. Loved The Stand. Won't read him anymore cause his books give me nightmares.
Charlene, I had nothing to do with it.
You went to a baseball game. WOW!! Your my hero! Now go to bed.
Guinea pigs ewwwwwwww.
Not sure what I'm gonna get into today. Hubby was up most of the night watching some silly car race so he's snoring away. Guess I could clean out the fridge I've been avoiding for way to long.
Have a great day one and all. -

Charlene - glad to see you post - thanks to you DH for his update the other day
Puppy - we will all be with you on Thursday. HUGS
Sheryl - I'm not a Harry Potter girl - have not read any of the books, so all the hoopla just goes over my hear. My girlfriend order 2 copies of the book so their would be enough copies in her house.
Margaret - my 18 year old son also has ADHD - he quit taken meds this year and actually is doing okay. He was on meds since the start of kdg. He jsut started a new job at PETCO after two years at Dairy Queeen. School is another story - he should have graduated with the class of 2007, but is atleast one semester behind. He thinks he will graduate end of first sememster, but time will tell - but atleast he will graduate. Like BC, its just one day at a time, but he is doing good. My oldest DD has ADD as is much more immature than her younger brother. She is also getting off her stimulants, but is on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants. Life is always throwing some sort of curve ball.
SpCalLisa- beautiful group of ladies.
Wildabouthorses - WELCOME - I need to go find your intro.
Mandy WELCOME
Shirley - DD was a beautiful bride - gee, when its time to for my DD to get married, I should have you make her dress - you area so talented.
Denise - glad you survived the family reunion
Vickie - glad to hear that Nate is better. How is the Glenda dress coming along?
DEb - welcome home. I sure wish I could get a taste of your Alaska salmon and halibut - I bet you it is delicious.
NS - glad to see you post, how are youo doing?
Shirly- enjoy visit with niece - what a brave young lady
Vickie - you are so much too good for that jerk. Too nice - never- rather have a bunch of too nice people running around than insensitive jerks. One day the right guy with find you.
Eachday - loved the I love LUcy analagy
Betty - welcome home
Biker- have a good trip to Main
Well gals, tomorrow is the "fix" surgery and I am so stressed and I am ready for tears. I just don't know what I want to do. Go ahead and do the fix or have the implants taken out. I know it makes no sense as the prophy side is just fine. My skin has held up okay and no infections with past surgerys. I am just so scared of the recovery and the pain. I keep going back and forth - fix the implant/take the implants out and leave me alone. I don't remember being so confused since my diagnosis. I know if I did not do immediate recon at the same time as bilat, I would not have done recon. I thought doing recon at the same time as bilat it would save one surgery. During the expanders there were many times I wanted to rip the things out. I am so confused!!!!! Well, I am DH computer and need to go as he has work to do. I will probably be back tonight. I love you all. Hugs to everyone. I know I left a lot of CG's out, but please forgive me - its not on purpose. I know how we all love to see our names mentioned. Hugs from Denver KAren -
Mandy,
I have been out of town and had like 5 million posts to read, came to yours and had to stop and reply. How funny are you? WELCOME to the circle. I love the 2-theme idea! LOL Anybody that can play a tune with their upper lip/nose is a keeper in my book, and if Charlene invited you, nuff said!
Marsha
PS I have a friend who can belch out a song. -
Hi! Just a quck pop in. This a a beautiful day and although its not hot, it will be warm enough to go swimming. Getting ready right now - even though the water temp is only 70's.
Marsha: Good to see you back. Hope you had a fun week-end.
Karen: good luck with the surgery tomorrow. I say go with what your heart is saying.
Sherloc: I hit a car when I was taking my drivers test! Pouted and said "does that mean I didnt pass?"
Madison: Hope your having fun in Georgia.
DecC: You are certainly busy
Hello to everyone else. I gotta go. Will check back later.
Nicki
-
Nicki thank the Drivers Test Gods I took my test on a course. No other cars to hit. I knocked over a cone parallel sp? parking tho. Guess the poor sap in the passenger seat was so freaked out he passed me just so I wouldn't come back.
-
I had to take my driver's test in a snow storm in a city in an old 1952 buick with No automatic shift..NO power steering,NO power brakes, NO turn signals etc. etc. had to put down the window to give the hand turn signal and shift and get into the parallel parking along with the traffic all at the same time..I did not pass the first time...

Useless in the Parking Lot
A woman was at work when she received a phone call that her daughter was very sick with a fever. She left her work and stopped by the pharmacy to get some medication for her daughter.
When returning to her car she found that she had locked herkeys in the car. She was in a hurry to get home to her sick daughter.
She didn't know what to do, so she called her home and told the baby sitter what had happened and that she did not know what to do. The baby sitter told her that her daughter was getting worse.
She said, "You might find a coat hanger and use that to open the door."
The woman looked around and found an old rusty coat hanger that had been thrown down on the ground, possibly by someone else who at some time or other had locked their keys in their car.
Then she looked at the hanger and said, "I don't know how to use this."
So she bowed her head and asked God to send her some help. Within five minutes an old rusty car pulled up, with a dirty, greasy, bearded man who was wearing an old biker skull rag on his head.
The woman thought, "This is what you sent to help me?" But, she was desperate, so she was also very thankful.
The man got out of his car and asked her if he could help. She said, "Yes, my daughter is very sick. I stopped to get her some medication and I locked my keys in my car. I must get home to her. Please, can you use this hanger to unlock my car?"
He said, "Sure". He walked over to the car, and in less than one minute the car was opened.
She hugged the man and through her tears she said, "Thank you so much! You are a very nice man."
The man replied, "Lady, I am not a nice man. I just got out of prison today. I was in prison for car theft and have only been out for about an hour."
The woman hugged the man again and with sobbing tears cried out loud, "Oh, Thank you God!
"You even sent me a Professional!" -
Happy Sunday,
Cheri - Sorry I was a party pooper last night. A middle aged cow!!!!! Hmmmmm I'd ask for more presents if I was you.
Peter - No eating pavement last night so dinner was good.
Nicki - I'm trying South Beach diet also but not very successfully. Maybe need to stop cheating!
Puppy - Nice to see you. Hugs to you
Karen - Sorry you are so stressed today. I did not have reconstruction so can only imagine what you are going thru. Hugs to you. Will be with you tommorrow.
Jankay - Cute story.
Well good news to share with you. My son was accepted into the Florida Youth Orchestra! His audition placed him into the Youth Symphony which is the highest of the 3 orchestras. His private instuctor tells us it is very unusual and difficult to recieve this placement the first year a student auditions. He is very excited and I am very proud of him!
Have a great day all
Hugs from Amy to Z,
Sue -
Sue that is great news..congraulations to your son!!!

Good afternoon everybuddy. Hope you all are enjoying your sunday afternoon. I'll be awfully glad when I can get out of this house..literally. I went as far as the front porch to watch fireworks and other than that I've been a hermit. But I go back to Iowa the 2nd of Aug. and hopefully will have a camboot so I can walk.
Peter, of course I knew you were teasing, silly. You might want to check out the Cyber Party thread because I dug up a pic of you but it's 20 yrs old was wondering if you'd send a recent one. Surely middle age hasn't hit you, too. lol
Nicki, hope you enjoyed your walk with your dog. Rover is a big dog, too. Great Pyrenese. Mork & Mindy no longer look like puppies even tho they're only 3 months old. I'm going to have to give them away I just can't handle them all. I have our Rat Terrier, Oliver, that we've had for 8 yrs, Ethans new cute puppy, Cuddles, Rover and Mork & Mindy. I can't get out and take care of the big dogs so Amber feeds & waters them every day. They're like bulls in a china closet in the house. Plus, they deserve more attention individually. Sending you an invitation to Myspace.
Denise, I think I sent you an invitation to Myspace but not sure, will redo.
Charlene, great party. Welcome back but don't over do. I missed you cause we have such fun. Percocet makes me hallucinate. Me thinks 'Peter' is getting a bit...feisty. lol
Colleen, enjoy your day with Warren. Playing in the pool sounds wonderful to me. I love to swim and I haven't been in the water in so long.
Deb, my goodness I'm worn out just reading all you have to do today. I don't know where you get the energy.
Shirley, saw you hangin round Myspace this morning. Sending invites to Nicki and Denise. It is fun. Not nearly as much as this but my second fave.
Puppy, good to see you posting and hoping you feel better. When is your surgery?
Karen, so sorry you have such a tough decision to make. We'll be there with you tomorrow via Magic Carpet.
Marsha, gee I'm so glad you're home. I miss you when you're gone. You missed a good party at Charlenes last night. lol Check it out.
Jankay, thanks for the funny. Hope you're feeling well today. We didn't do the IM thing right cos you're still not on my list. Let's try again.
Mena, hoping you're feeling better. I miss your posts.
Gina, I wish you'd post like you used to. I thought you'd be one that would never leave the Circle. You started it and I am so thankful that you did. Do hope you are feeling better on the chemo, how much longer?
Iris, you need to come home now. lol
Madison, good to hear from you. This board addiction sounds like it's taking it's toll on your digits. haha
Jazz, where are you? Jankay said your sinuses were bothering you? Hope today is a better day for you. I'll be glad when you're back.
Vickie, how is your day going? We'll party wherever your little heart wants to today. I found an old pic of Peter, he doesn't look middle aged in it. hahahaha It's posted on the party thread. He'd better duck. lol This old middle aged cow may throw some 'pattys' at his assie behind. lol
Wishing everyone from Amy to Z a beautiful day.

Boo, big congratulations to your son! That's wonderful news and you must be so excited for him. I'm happy for your family.

cheri -
Boy - this is what I get for sleeping in today - a gazillion posts to read!! Actually, I had a crappy sleep last night so was thankful to be able to sleep in!
Peter - "mountain time" is a time zone - it's between Pacific and Central time. I am in Alberta, Canada - but I am only 4 hours from the mountains!! (We are one hour ahead of people on the west coast of the North America.)
Charlene!!! Glad to see you "out and about" and that you're doing well after surgery! It's so easy to overdo things but I totally understand why you chose to go to your daughter's game! You must have been so proud!
AlaskaDeb - I know EXACTLY what you mean about wasting sunshine. Our weather here in Alberta is usually pretty funky but for the past 2 and 1/2 weeks we've been having a heat wave! My motivation to do anything is pretty non existent..I just want to pig out on the sun and feel like I'm on vacation! I actually DO leave for vacation on Wednesday (assuming everything goes well with chemo on Tuesday) so this is not the time to be picking my nose out in the yard! I have much to do...it's just that our summers are so darned short - I can't emotionally justify cleaning my house, running errands when it's so nice out!!
Puppy - it's nice to see you here - hope you're feeling well! Be thinking of you on Thursday.
Karen - I wish you all the best with your decision regarding your upcoming surgery.
Marsha - maybe you're belching friend could accompany me and we could do a show together? One of my most requested tunes is "Yankee Doodle Dandy" (or maybe we could at least auditon for David Letterman's Stupid Human Tricks) We ALL have some amazing/silly things we can do with our bodies...some people are just to shy to share (or maybe the talents are just too private!?)
Sue - Congrats to your son for his recent accomplishment! I have a friend whose son performed in the Symphony's Youth Orchestra in our city - it was a wonderful experience for him!!
Well, hubby is doing the dishes (I asked him to help me with them later) so I feel a teeny bit guilty sitting here at the computer while he does the dishes...I must be NUTS!
Talk to you all later!
Mandy -
Socal, yikes. I would have flunked for sure.
JanKay, have always liked that story.
Boo/Sue, well hot dog. That means he's good right? Congrats to him. WOW!!!!
Cheri, your gonna break up Mork and Mindy. Awwwwww
Mandy, when hubbies do the dishes it is best to just leave them be.
Dearest son has invited us to his company bbq. Yehaw, another day of fun in the sun. I'll see you all tonight. -
Hey and Hi to all!
Just wanted to say Hi to all of you! Tomorrow is my day off so I'll be bugging you guys all day!!
Hoping, Wishing and praying for all to have a good day..healing thoughts to all who need them.
Knew I should have partied last night instead of 'bonding!' Sounds like quite a mess was made at Charlene's house! Haven't checked the site yet.......but sounds like Peter and Cheri has quite some time!!!!
Mandy.....boy do you fit in here!!!! Me's think you're as 'crazy' as the rest of us!!
Okay, I did a bit of 'retail therapy' today...gone all of two hours. It appears, for those who have been following my Dear Hubby's hobbies, that while I was gone he decided to move into the kitchen and do some more experimenting!! Now, he is a good cook and makes a great cheesecake.......but the credit stops there. I have a pan of something that took 5 cups of flour, was supposed to raise and didn't, (sounds like a middle aged man!) oops..sorry! Anyhow..it's been kneaded (WTH we have a breadmaker!), punched (beat the crap out of it!) flattened......spread with some mixture of onions and poppyseeds, I think rolled together (can we smoke it!), and is now resting on the counter with a note on it that says, "DON'T PEAK AT ME....THIS MEANS YOU!" Anyone want to come for dinner????
Oops, he just came in....sure he'll be pleased that I'm talking about him again!!
Gotta change loads.......clothes that is!
BBL
Hugs,
Denise -
Hi all, just a quick check in. It's been too pretty the last couple of days. Micah is pulling on my shirt to take him to the pool. Hopefully I'll have more time later. Love ya!
-
little boy opened the big and old family Bible with fascination, and looked at the old pages as he turned them. Suddenly, something fell out of the Bible, and he picked it up and looked at it closely. It was an old leaf from a tree that had been pressed in between the pages.
"Momma, look what I found," the boy called out.
"What have you got there, dear?" his mother asked.
With astonishment in the young boy's voice, he answered: "I think it's Adam's suit!" -
I finally figured out how to post a picture. Sending an angel to watch over all my sweet sisters and brother -
Hi Circle Girls!!!
Had a few minutes sitting with youngest grandson who is having a hard time with asthma. His parents and brother have come to the mountain house to go fishing. I'm working full time now so don't have much time to read and post. Wanted to drop in and say hi.
I know I have missed so much. Cherri, sounds like you have had your surgery and close to going home - WONDERFUL!!! Amy, I was so sorry to read elswhere you loosing your Dad. I know I'm late but know I am sending warm wishes for you and your family as you move forward.
Debbie/Puppy Five - brain surgery??? Aneurysm??? Surgery on Thurs??? keeping you close and sending you lots of hugs.
I posted on the Pinkstock thread too, but all of you that are going - wishing you safe trave and wonderful weather. With Alaska Deb and others there, you are going to hurt from all the laughter. Hope all goes well and and will come back to look for pictures.
I've missed many and much news of everyone as I haven't gone back and read - just saw other treads. I even see the "clique" thing surfaced again (that is one of many reasons it gets easy to just drift away). Have a wonderful week !!!
Brenda -
Hi ya Brenda! Nice to see you. You need to drop in more often. Actually the clique thread just made us all closer and also added some new girls to the circle so it wasn't a bad thing after all. Take care. BTW, if you were talking about my surgery I've been home all the time except the 5 days spent in the hospital in Iowa. But I'm still in a cast. Thanks, I appreciate you thinking of me. I miss you.

cheri -
Holy macaroni you guys have been busy! Just popping in to say hi and bye. LOL
I'll be back later or tomorrow.

Puppy -
{{{{Benda}}}}
I am so Happy to hear you are doing well sweet Sister!!
Really have missed Ya!!! Thanks for Your Prayers, they have always worked and will now!!
Cheri,, how is your foot comming along?? Susan called and said it looked pretty promising, I hope so!! Praying for You and everyone.
xoxoxo Puppy -
Afternoon all - just got back from my cooking club. Since the theme was Thai food and I made a salad with noodles in a peanut sauce and there are leftovers, guess what hubby is having for dinner.
Karen, good luck with whatever decision you make.
Nicki, hope you went swimming this afternoon.
Boo/Sue, did I tell you how I broke my ankle? I was walking into a store, looked at someone and guess I didn't see a piece of tanbark on the ground. I stepped on it and my foot slid and then I tumbled and couldn't stop myself. Then when I sprained the same foot, I stepped into a hole. Can you say klutzy? Great accomplishment for your son.
Cheri, what were the fireworks for?
Mandy, the housework will always be there - go have fun.
Denise, what was hubby making?
Hi Brenda, glad you dropped by.
Back later.
Margaret
