Gosh! When I woke up this morning I thought I had the day off. Must have been a good dream of something. Im glad its Friday and so ready for the weekend to begin. -
I don't want to cause any discord here in our loving Circle. I just had to say something that I've been thinking about for a long time. We need to go back and remember why Gina started this thread in the first place. It is a safe haven for women who are having difficult times dealing with life after cancer, or are having recurrances. Beth, I'm not attacking you personally, I just don't understand why you come here.
Thank you, sisters. I love all of you. -

Good morning girls and Peter,
Happy Friday the 13th!!! I had my mammogram yesterday. I guess it was ok no one came after me in the waiting room after the pictures so that's a good sign.
I have a half day today. I feel like a school kid getting out early! I told Kevin we would go to the pool when I get home. He is doing really great.
Beth-I know that woman sounded rude but who knows what she is going through. We all deal w/h this beast differently. She sounds like she is still in the anger stage. I look at it as going through the grieving stages. Shock, deniel(I think that's how you spell it)Anger and then acceptance.I keep thinking of my mom's saying..pray for her.
Karen-Welcome back! Sounds like you had a great time. I am glad you made it home safetly.
I will check in with everyone this weekend. Have a great day!
Joyce -
Good Morning Peter, Jan and Joyce. Now Im looking for our other sunshine sisters. Wake up call - foods on!
Well this has been a goofy week for me. Im trying to read back on all the posts, and I am so lost. Im so glad the week-end is almost here, cause that will be my catch up time.
MargaretB: Personal Motivation Coach? Well all I can say is thank you. You will never know how much the words in your post meant to me. I was just trying to explain that to my DH before I came on the boards yesterday evening. I had to call him into my computer room and read your words to him.
Amy: Oh my! Things do sound serious for your dad. I have a dear friend who is going through a similiar thing right now here in Chicago. He is on a vent. They are saying he has respiratory failure from a bad case of pneumonia. Said they drained a liter of junky stuff out of his lungs! Just sending hugs to you. Of course you are tossing and turning and not sleeping well. This is a very hard time for you right now.
Charlene: I still havent learned not to wander away from the wagon circle. Seems like I always get into trouble when I do. When I came home and read that other post, I almost lost it. Glad I was able to calm myself down. Im not even gonna wander over there anymore.
Well this has been one crazy morning and Im already out of time. I had something to say to so many - gotta go take a shower and get ready for work. Hopefully I will catch up with the rest of you tonight.
SoCal: "hola"
Nicki -
good morning sisters...you guessed it...I overslept again. Damn.
Read back a bit and we have some unhappiness here. Jan, you know that we love you too, and Beth, we understand your decision and your complications as well. Too tired to write clearly what I want to say so I will save it for later when I get rid of the cobwebs in my brain.
Peter...off to bed with you, have a peaceful nights sleep, we'll keep putting logs on the fire for you.
TGIF all...I am so glad it's Friday...whew.
I love ya all and I'll be back
Vickie -
what kinda food...I'm starving and it's Fosamax Friday once again!
Good morning sunshine sisters! -
Karen is back?!?!?! Ok...did I miss that or chemo brain it!!
KAREN...WELCOME HOME! We missed you...I'll read back later and see how your trip went. Hugs to you! -
I have an omelet bar going down by the campfire. Made to order! Oh a a bowl of cereal for Sherloc - who hates bacon and eggs.
Speaking of bacon - can you smell it cooking. The aroma is penetrating the air around the circle. Also threw on some Italian Sausages with sauteed green peppers. Yummy!
Nicki -
Good morning boy & girls. Nicki, yes I can smell it! I don't eat breakfast but the aroma is simply wonderful. And the coffee, I haven't drank coffee in awhile. I'm a tea person but I do believe I'll share a cup with you round your campfire and appreciate your cookin. We'll sit and tell funny stories and start the day out right.
Hey to Peter, Joyce, Vickie, Janny and anyone else that posts while i'm doing this.
Wishing everyone from Amy to Z a wonderful day.

Cheri: One for coffee one for tea. -
Good morning!
I'd love some coffee and an omelet, Nicki! I need to go to grocery store, so it's slim pickins here this morning for breakfast!
Love you all!
Sue -
Sue: Handing you a cheese omelet. Actually I sauted some green onions (hope you like them) and then cooked the omelet with them. Hey, when pickins are slim, we can pretend.
Nicki -
wow...look at all the sunshine girls up this morning. Mighty foggy on this end of the circle and only 51 degrees...ewww. Breakfast smells wonderful.
love ya all...have a grand day
Vickie
(yeah...I'm late...waiting for Nate now!) -
I hope the kids like their pretend breakfast! I'm probably not going to get nominated for Mother of the Year today!
-
Good morning!
I have some leftover blueberry pancakes from yesterday, so Nicki if you could pass some bacon over here, I'd appreciate it!
Good night, Peter. -
Got any cheese grits to go with that yummy omelet?
Darn, I can't stay though. Have to jump in the shower, another soccer morning! BBL girls, enjoy breakfast! Sue, that was funny! -
-
well good morning everyone and good night peter
i am doing real well in the pool. yesterday i walked in the pool and out (i didnt have to use the lift chair), i was able to get out of the pool to use the bathroom and while i was there i dressed with no assistance.
My therapist did tell me that my last day will be August 25.
I am going to have to do some thing on the discord going on here, i dont like confrontationds so i may try to remain neutral. I can kinda understand both sides-
because of dealing with both diseases.
i love all of you all very much and hope that this doesnt change anything
love janice -
JanKay, congratulations! You did really well yesterday!!
-
Hey just remember! The circle is a safe place. Let things go and move forward - we have a wonderful weekend approaching.
Nicki -
Happy Friday everyone!
Peter -- I haven't seen the lizard again so I don't know what happened to him. I'm afraid he's going to pop out when I least expect it but my dog isn't going crazy anymore so maybe it moved on. -
Good morning,
Today is my DS 15th birthday! I will have 10, 15 and 16 yr old boys to deal with all evening and night. Yikes! Wish me luck. Have been in the grumpy tent lately so not around too much.
Hope everyone has a great day,
Hugs, Sue -
thank you jan
i feel pretttttttttty good
AMEN NICKI -
Sue, yikes!!!!! The only thing worse than teenage boys, is teenage girls, LOL! Good luck to you!
I'm enjoying my time off from work this week. Of course, I had to mow the lawn yesterday. No vacation from yard work! I have to get ready to go down to the dungeon soon and work out. No vacation from that either .
My DH saw a motorcyclist hit by a car yesterday. A woman pulled right out in front of him. She never saw him. DH thinks the guy broke his hip, but other than that seemed okay. Everyone be careful out there. Remember, there are bikers on the road and it can be difficult to see us. You are looking at the bigger vehicles and the bikes blend in. -

Morning everyone,
shokk - get ready, storms are headed your way. They're not too bad though.
It's cloudy and dreary here but I'm so excited. I'm going to get ready here in a bit and go meet Madison and her DD. I'll take the camera and will try to remember to take pics. LOL
Everyone have a blessed day.
I'll be back later.
Hugs
