Popping in before "Joe Farmer" gets home from work and starts picking those "Dang Beans!" I love them and all........but I've got another bag and 1/2 in fridge waiting for my attention!
Shirley: Glad your Onc appt went well! The famous "albuteral" My Son always calls it the "fake inhaler!" He always had Allergy Induced Asthma.......so he moves to AZ where the allergies are terrible! Hope you figure it out soon!
Shokk: Proud you should be! Going to China next June....what a great thing for her.........do you get to Chaperone?
Here's an idea, Pinkstock in China!! Think they could handle all of us?
Speaking of............think I'll vote yes on the cruise thingy too and see what comes of it. I, personally don't think the prices are all that good.........maybe if they get enough 'yes' they can get a better rate. Especially for an organization like this!
Off to Snap and Blanch the beloved beans.........
Peter: Strong coffee for you! How did the no-sleep study go?
Hugs,
Denise -
crap ..lost a big long post...and now its time to go home...
hugs MB -
Denise I thought the exact same thing on the pricing of the cruise because you can do better than that booking it yourself but hopefully with lots saying yes a better price will happen.
Amy -
ok heres the pictures of my nephew in Balad, Iraq.

Just got home from doing all my errands..it is beautiful here in San Diego..just perfect...sunny and upper 70s..light breeze from the Ocean..very typical but never boring to me!!
Yes,Cheryl in Cal...it was a very good game, but I wished the National League had won..I couldn't believe some of the sloppy fielding though considering they were All Stars ( most didn't show up in the errors column).I did see the dog with the life jacket on..what a hoot..
I join the group with the toxic sisters..she told me I was going to die and said she never wanted to communicate with me ever again..well, hmmmm
Luckily I have a very neat brother..
Shokk what good news about your daughter..China will be a great experience. My youngest went on a cultural exchange for spring break of his senior year...that was 15 years ago..
Sherloc..at least you have a DX on your breathing problems and hopefully, it will be controlled with the meds..
Amy..good to see you are safely back..
I took this pic on the Maine coast..in one of its many coves..I just loved that State!!!
Charlene..love that class outline!!! -
Good afternoon all! Hope everyone is having a fantabulous day. Work has been crazy here but hopefully it will slow down soon.
-
Good Eveing Everyone: Had one heck of a day. Had to go Northwestern Memorial and Rehab Institue of Chicago - both are right in the middle of downtown! then 6 other local hospitals. Needless to say I was one busy little girl. Home late, but DH is playing guitar so I got to grab some computer time for a bit.
Marsha: OMG Hahahahahaha - I bet those old geezers peed their pants, but they were probably wearing diapers so it wouldnt have shown up anyways.
Sherloc: Thats what I need. A briliant hair stylist. My old hair stylist is 38 miles away. Maybe I should just give up and drive it - havent been happy with any style I get.
Charlene: That happens cause the picture is too big. Just resize it after you save it to your album on photobucket. Opps! gotta go - see ya in th emorning.

afternoon all...well almost evening for some of us and good morning to Peter...you are up early. Thunderstorms rolling through and have to get Nate to vacation bible school so I'll be back soon.
Hugs to Amy...having sick parents is so very hard and heartbreaking. I've lost both of mine along with my grandparents so I know what kind of worry you are going through...praying that things will improve and soon. He sounds like a fighter and thats good.
Angel...heehee...what kids won't do or discover! I think you handled it very well. Probably better than I would have...not quite sure what I would have said.
Hey Jasmine...isn't time to go home yet?
Cheri pal...thanks for the talk this morning. Feeling a bit better...the little gray cloud is a bit further away...now if he will just stay there LOL. Love ya!
ok...gotta run...brb
Love ya all...anyone up for nightgown swimming after dark...it was so cool. never swam in my nightgown before and it was very...hmmmm...do I want to say "sexy" feeling or just "floaty, dreamy, relaxing"...I guess it was both. You may find me out there again tonight but I need to find my flashlight first! And light the tiki torches!!! -
hey sunshine sister Nicki...just got a minute to tell ya I love ya!
-
hey sunshine sister Vickie...me too!

Feeling cranky this afternoon and poor Miriam is the brunt of it! she is bored today. She wants to do something tomorrow and I'm just not in the mood to think about it. I was fine till I talked to my mother late this morning!!!! My dad came home yesterday - he was in rehab for 2 or 3 weeks after his bowel surgery and he sounded good. When I called mom wasn't home so she called backed. When she called Miriam answered the phone and of course she commented to Miriam that she was disappointed that Miriam did not send her a post card from our trip. Then when talkind to me, she goes, now I know I've asked you a hundred times, but when do you go back to work. I tell her Aug 13th and she says good, you can come and visit dad - dad would love that. I tell her that I am having recon again on the 23rd and she does not even comment. I realize my parents have had a tough year, but its not like I've been eating bon bons! She knows that Miriam is going to visit Leah (my older daughter) for a few days the end of the month just before Leah comes home for 3 weeks. Craig and I are going to go to a friends weddding and then take a weekend away together. Not sure if mom knows this. Its been awhile since Craig and I have been away alone (yes we just had this wonderful vacation, but we had Miriam). This weekend is time for us to reconnect. Craig is feeling neglected and like I don't treat him as a lover but as a care taker. We really need the time together, just us!!!! I love him so much - it is so hard when I have no sex drive and for so long I felt so crappy. Also, the get-a-way is a way to celebrate and honor our 30th anniversary that is coming up in September. I know I should feel close to my mom, but she just knows how to get to me. I have one brother, 19 months older than me and we don't talk. He was so toxic (along with his B**** wife) that for self- preservation I had to distance myself. Brother lives in Ohio and I'm in Denver, so we never cross paths. I have not seen him since 1999!!! My friends are my family. Well, I think I am beginning to ramble and whine way too much. thanks for listening. I will try to be back later. Need a glass of wine, but the last time I had a glass (actually 2) I was so sick the next day, I'm just not sure it is worth it. so would someone have a nice glass of wine for me. Hugs from Denver, Karen

Good afternoon boy & girls. The day didn't exactly work out as I expected it to. Amber had a dr.s appt. this morning and I didn't mind watching 2 yr old Kevin and she took Ethan with her. She ended up making a few extra stops. They got back 5 hours later and she sent Ethan in to ask me if I minded watching Kevin tonight while she & Ethan went to see "Transformers". He layed it on thick, too. He said since Mama had been working they didn't get near as much time together and he was missing his Mama. He goes to his daddys for the week-end tomorrow afternoon and then she'll do something with Kevin. Yes, Denise & Shokk, feeling a bit taken advantage of right about now. Although, I'm here anyway it's not like I have big plans I can't even get down my steps. And Ethan does enjoy it. And she does an awfully lot for me. But wow, a built-in sitter, that is free, and you don't have to take them home or pick up your kids either one at the end of the evening. Plus, you can rest easy because you know your children are in loving hands. Wouldn't we have all loved that?? One good thing about it, Nicki, my little GS is really warming up to me. Today is the first time since he was a tiny baby that he let me rock him to sleep. It was great. He'd sat on my lap and we'd sang songs and counted and made animal noises and it was like he was an ordinary baby that liked his Grandma. He's so much better when Amber's not around. They always are. Bedtime may be an issue cos I can't get my wheelchair back to his room to put him down. I'd have to turn all kind of funny ways to get back there on my walker. So I'm going to try and put him in bed with me to sleep. He goes to bed in his own room really well but he's not used to sleeping with anyone so we'll see. How I do ramble on.
Shokk, a cricket in the house is always a sign of good luck...cept for the cricket, he usually gets smashed.
Karen, welcome home and glad you enjoyed your trip.
Z, nice to see you popping in to post.
Janny, yep you sent that great ecard 6 times. I had to check each one just in case you'd gotten on a roll and sent me a whole deck of cards. lol
Charlene, thanks for the condolences on my brother, he was older than me so it was several years ago. I also lost my dad to stomach cancer and have 2 bc survivor sisters. One (that I'm very close to) has been NED for almost 12 years now.
Shokk, congrats on your daughter. Wow, those are some big bragging rights.
Shirley, what's this about a cruise?? When? Next year? I want to go! Don't make it real soon. I've always wanted to go on a cruise but I want to be able to enjoy it. I missed that along the line. Shirls, fill me in.
Amy, prayers for your daddy. I do hope he starts feelilng better. Also for your nephew...which is quite good looking and how old? Does he like children? How tall is he? Just curious. hahaaha
Hey Marsha, Nicki, Vicki, Jazz, and all my friends from Amy to Z, have a nice evening.

Great pics of your Nephew, Amy. So sad to see all these young men over in that Hell Hole.
Charlene: Yuk! Never had my kids confess to finding "the hole!" Your Funny was to Funny....had to send it to my DD!
Gotta read the next page...............beans are snapped, but the dang things are still sitting in cold water right where I left them!
Hugs,
Denise -
Hey Girls and Guy!
The cruise is a post from Melissa and Tami....at the top of the main forum. It's something BC.org is thinking about. If the price is right I think we should look into it. I went ahead and put yes in their poll...........but I think the price is high. Think it's next April. Look into it!
TOXIC FAMILIES............WTH! We need a big deliverence tent! I wrote my sister a little email today (the one I said was so laid back).....told her Mom has an appt. AUG 24 and asked if she could take her, cuz my Son is coming home and we want to go up North......................Her reply:
PROBABLY. No beginning, No end.........just 'probably.' As I mentioned earlier...........for some reason, I'm the one that always takes her to appts.
Shokk: Yup............35 pounds!! And guess what? I used the VISA Card yesterday and bought a couple pairs of Capri's! I ain't scared of no murky pond!!!!
Okay, Really have to do my beans now!! I am officially the Queen of Procrastination lately!!!!
Hugs,
Denise -
-
I found the perfect place for my Toxic People, pic above! Then I decided to add to it............plenty of room for all of our 'family' and 'friends'!
-
hmmm...we'll have a toxic waste dump way over the hill for toxic family members...they don't even deserve the deliverance tent! Way out of sight and out of mind!

Hello All,
Found this on another forum. Had to share it with the Circle Group. Hope it brings a smile to your faces.
Cherryl
Having a Bad Day?????
In a hospital's Intensive Care Unit, patients always died in the same
bed, on Sunday morning, at about 11:00 a.m., regardless of their medical
condition. This puzzled the doctors and some even thought it had
something to do with the supernatural.
No one could solve the mystery as to why the deaths occurred around 11:00 a.m. Sunday, so a worldwide team of experts was assembled to investigate the cause of the incidents.
The next Sunday morning, a few minutes before 11:00 am., all of the doctors and nurses nervously waited outside the ward to see for themselves what the terrible phenomenon was all about.
Some were holding wooden crosses, prayer books, and other holy objects to ward off the evil spirits. Just when the clock struck 11:00, Pookie Johnson, the part-time Sunday sweeper, entered the ward and unplugged the life support system so he could use the vacuum cleaner.
Still Having a Bad Day????
The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdez Oil
spill in Alaska was $80,000.00. At a special ceremony, two of the most
expensively saved animals were being released back into the wild amid
cheers and applause from onlookers. A minute later, in full view, a
killer whale ate them both.
Still think you are having a Bad Day????
A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen shaking
frantically, almost in a dancing frenzy, with some kind of wire running
from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to jolt him away
from the deadly current, she whacked him with a handy plank of wood,
breaking his arm in two places. Up to that moment, he had been happily
listening to his Walkman.
Are Ya O.K. Now? - No!
Two animal rights defenders were protesting the cruelty of sending pigs
to a slaughterhouse in Bonn , Germany . Suddenly, all two thousand pigs
broke loose and escaped through a broken fence, stampeding madly. The
two helpless protesters were trampled to death.
What?? STILL having a Bad Day????
Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn't pay enough postage on a letter
bomb. It came back with "Return to Sender" stamped on it.
Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.
There now, Feeling Better???? -
this is to keep all the toxic people away
-
Holy Smokes I cut off all my hair. My husband is gonna freak. I think I'll like it after I get used to it.
Peter thanks for the rain. We need it badly. I'm glad they got the info they needed. When hubby had his done he said I sure hope I don't ever have to do that again. If you do need to use a bi-pap or C-pap they have great masks now. Kinda like the oxygen thingys they put in your nose in the hospital.
Amy, praying hard for you daddy and you.
Pictures only loaded half way for me. My puter is acting weird today. But from what I can see you have a handsome nephew. At least his head looks great. That first helicopter shot is cool.
Charlene, Kilz is paint. Primer to be exact.
Asthma indeed. Cripes. I've never had allergies in my life till last year. Hopefully when we get rid of the bats the problem will disappear.
Found her hole? hahahahhahahhahahhahahah o my. I think you handled it beautifully. Mine never did stuff like that but I would hear on a regular basis "MOM!!!! Kenton pooped in the yard again.
Denise, to funny. That is what the doc called it too. I can't use the steroid ones cause of my bad bones.
Definately vote yes on the cruise. I think the cost is a bit high too but hopefully they can get that down if enough people show interest. Or maybe Holland America is just an uberfancy cruise line that costs more?
Jeannie didn't you go on Holland America? I've only cruised on Royal Caribbean and that is about what we paid for full price non group rates.
Too funny Charlene, my aunt sent that to me this morning. I crack up everytime I read it.
Yes Shokk, we are going on a cruise. Can you just imagine how much fun we would all have on a caribbean cruise. O la la. The post says Arruba and Caracus. Haven't been there yet.
Socal, so so pretty. One more med to add to the list. Yeah for me.
Denise 35lbs!!! Wowsers. Thats fabulous. Bet Farmer Joe aint whining about the Visa bill anymore. And go get yourself more than just a couple of pairs of capris. You my dear have earned it.
A toxic dump? hmmmmm a good idea but we'll have to bury them really deep. Hope the back hoe is available.
CherylinC, hahahhahahhahahahhahahahha
Have to start dinner. Making fried chicken and macaroni salad just for hubby to help him get over the shock of my new do. -
Good evening sweet sisters and dear brother.
Is it Friday yet? I so wish it were. I am sooo tired. Sick of fighting with the doctors trying to get my thyroid test refferal...that has to be the problem...I have ever one of the symptoms right down to brittle nails!
Cheryl...ppppfffftttt...guess I didn't have a bad day! I love it!
Lisa...thanks for the fence...if I get one more nasty email from psycho sister I'm gonna go to her house with a baseball bat and take care of her computer for her. (not really...wishful thinking but geez).
BC.org is thinking of a cruise...oh that would be cool! I will have to check it out.
Peter...where did you go off too! hmmm...maybe the coffee didn't wake him up...someone want to blow the trumpet.
Shirley girl...yeah...not bad news! Controllable problem that isn't the "c" word! I think its a bad year for allergies and asthma...I know its affecting everyone here that it has never bothered before.
Cheri...just say NO...LOL. Hugs to you.
Waiting for Nate to get home from vacation bible school so I'm gonna go sit on the porch and finish up the afghan. Too tired to type any more...know that I love ya all and sorry to all I missed.
The sun has gone to sleep
moon and stars are shining bright
May you have peace and rest
pray your dreams will be sweet tonight
I'll stay here for a little while
and hum a song by your bed
And before I tell you goodnight
I'll place a kiss upon your head
Goodnight!! -
howdy circle girls and guy...
i am headed to my Mom's house for fresh fried clams YUM! They went clam digging this morning and got 100 clams...28 pounds of clam meat! WooHoo...we are eating GOOD tonight
I spent about two hours working on my pinkstock surprise and IT WORKED! I was trying to make something I had not done before, so I was happy it didn't just make a huge mess.
Let's see...no other big news. we had a pretty day and I was lazy a big portion of it....some days you just have to chill out.
I hope everyone is doing well. Hopefully I'll have time to read everything and catch up later....
Bugs and Fishes
Deb C -
Oh, Deb...how wonderful..I just LUV clams..and how fresh can they be... just harvested!!! Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
-
Well I cut my hair off. Not sure if I'm going to like it or not - most of the curls are gone.
Looks like Shirley did the same thing. How short did you go girl? Thanks for telling Charlene what Kilz is. I didn't get a chance to read anything today.
Yum Deb. Hope you ate some for me. Nothing like good fried clams. You are just so creative.
Denise - I voted yes also. Not sure I could swing those prices. Maybe they'll get a better rate. It would really be fun. Woohooo! Congrats on the wonderful weight loss. Glad you aren't afraid of the pond anymore. LOL
Charlene - you handled the situation perfectly. I just knew I was going to have a girl and was going to name her Audrey. I've always loved that name.
Cheri - hidey ho girl. I was fortunate that my mother took care of my son when I worked. When she kept him at night, we wouldn't go out until he was asleep and would always be there early the next day to pick him up. You are a blessing to Amber and the boys.
Lisa - as always great pics.
Peter - love the toxic fruit.
Vickie - I hope you get the thyroid checked. Don't you hate having to fight to get things done? You sound so much like me when I was diagnosed. Hang in there kiddo. Thanks for being you.
I haven't heard from Madison yet. I'm sure she arrived safely and is enjoying visiting with her DD. I'm sure she'll call tomorrow or the next day.
I had a really good thought but chemo brain took it so I'm going to say goodnight.
Hugs
