Good Morning dear sisters. Happy evening Peter. I do hope in spite of a sleepless night they got the info needed and you don't have to repeat it.
Got more crappy news yestereday. My older sister has separated from her husband. Very very long story short, oldest child is most likely involved in a gang. After a year of one episode after another, the latest involving guns stolen from dads gun safe. Guns found in raid on gang members house. Of course traced back to dad cause they are registered in his name, who had not reported them stolen. Anywhos sister said no more, time for kid to leave. He is 19. Her husband said if he goes I go. I am completely baffled by this. They have two younger children. It makes no sense to me. I've heard of mom's who will stand with their children no matter what they do but this is the first I've heard of a father doing it. He's going to throw away a 25 year marriage because he refuses to accept his kid is walking a bad path? That just blows me away. So my heart is sad this morning. I will catch up with you all later.
PS, you all can come hang out on my porch anytime you like.
Denise, my porch is decorated better than my house too. -
CherylInC, you just popped in to say hello. That makes you a Circle Girl. Tell us about you.

Update on Puppy:
I called Puppy;s house yesterday and she answered the phone! I was soooo relieved to hear her voice! They did a brain cath. yesterday. PUPPY DOES NOT HAVE A TUMOR.
This is good news for us. However...... she does apparently have 3 more aneurysms and she will probably find out next week or so the game plan. Please continue to keep our (((((Puppy))))) in your hearts and prayers as
she goes through this difficult time. She is experiencing an awful amount of pain.
(((((Aunt Puppy))))) if you check in, know we love you!!! Pam -
Pam...thank you so very much for the update on our dear Puppy...NO TUMOR...WOOHOO!! Praying for no more pain and a quick and easy fix for the aneurysms.
Hugs and love

Good morning everyone. Babysitting again today. I think it's nice to have Kevin stay home with Ethan and I so he sees his brother. They were both really good yesterday. It's alot tougher watching them through the day than after they go to bed at night. lol I've learned a few tricks tho. When the baby's in a decent mood he'll come sit on my lap in the wheelchair and I wheel him around and then up to my bed when he needs a diaper change. Ethan feeds and waters the big dogs outside and the little ones inside. Amber leaves food out where I can reach it. It's doable. She scheduled her 2 days off during the week so she can spend time with the boys. She's off the next two days.
I guess I'm going to have to read my Quit Smoking book again. I haven't smoked at all but I really want one. All the time. I miss my cigarettes and I'm eating like a pig. I do believe I'm at 89 days quit. One more day and it'll be 3 months and I've wanted one every day. 3 packs a day for 30 years is alot to just quit. Cold turkey. I'm disgusted because I still want to smoke. But I sure don't want to throw my quit away. I go to Quitnet but in chat all they tell me is to hang in there and then go on with their other topics. Not much help. So I had my husband leave my book at home this time. He's been quit for 3 days now. He really wants to quit badly but couldn't hang with me when I didn't ever give in. Hope he can do it this time it would help me. Sorry about the whining.
Vickie, you're plate is really full right now, upset over Sara and just in a funk. This too shall pass, my friend. You need to slow down just a bit. Maybe one of the girls on the afghan thread knows how to put the squares together and has the time to take over awhile and give you a break. I dont remember now who said it but there is no time limit on those. Just work on them when you can. No rush. Also no rush on the diarys you're working on. Nobody expects near as much of you as you do of yourself. Take it easy Toots, we don't want you sick. Thats as mushy as I get. lol
Nicki, I have to go back to Iowa on Aug. 2 but it's just one day so I'll keep you company while everyone's at Pinkstock. I was wondering who was going to be left here to talk to or if I was going to be alone. Next year, hopefully, will be better. Hoping Susan and I know Liz will help me have it here and go to Branson. It's alot of fun down there and less than an hr. and a half from here and only about an hour from Springfield. Perhaps I'll be walking by then.
Peter, get some sleep. sweet Brother of ours.
Cherylnc, welcome home. That's what this place will feel like is "home". Don't worry about keeping up, just jump in anytime. You'll make alot of friends here.
Shirley, I'm so sad that you're sad. Good luck to your sister.
Jazz, Marsh, and Pam, hey to you all.
Mena, hope you're feeling alright.
Gina, hope you are doing well, too.
Puppy, thoughts are with you
LisaE, my dear friend. I'm wondering about you but I don't want to crowd you. Just check in when you feel like it. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Iris, missing you.
Amy. when do you come home???
Janny, hey girlfriend.
Neesie, Sheri, Gus and Boo, hello to you all. Wishing everyone from Amy to Z a nice afternoon.

Cheri, I have sooooooo wanted to smoke these last few weeks BUT HAVE NOT...and one reason is because you and Vickie are doing such a fantastic job of not smoking.....
So, grab that twinkie and not the cig.....we all can be former smokers
Hugs, Madison -
OK Ladies I have been a weepy mess the past 2 days. I have no big problems. I am healthy. I am loved .yet still I manage to be sad. I guess I should be glad that it has been weeks since the last time I was a mess!
I really think this is just my body reintroducing me to PMS and hormones!
SO since I am sick of my pitiful little party .
Someone tell a joke .dance on a chair .tap-dance naked .
SOMETHING!!!
I refuse to waste time feeling like this .
So, plan for the day:
1. Go in to town for a bit of retail therapy at the craft store .the best kind of shopping
2. Come home and work on my little surprise gift for my sisters at Pinkstock In fact, if it works, I want to make enough for everyone that wants one first I have to see if my plan even works!
3. Come home and make Shrimp with garlic and red pepper alfredo sauce for dinner with my hubby
4. Open a bottle of wine and share an evening at home with just me and my wonderful husband.
I hope you all have a great day!
Bugs and Fishes and Kleenex for anyone who needs one!
