    I'm NEVER too busy for you guys!  I had so much fun at my "party!  Janie had balloons, a party hat, and all my gifts!  Also DD in Orlando gave us the Itinerary for our trip to Orlando!  Good Lord I hope things are very good by the time we get there.... the last of September for our 57th Anniversary....  she was born a week before that, so her Birthday is the 21st...  

    She will be here next month, for a concert with her Girlfriends, and to see her Sister and us!  

    AND, I got a free Starbucks, plus a Red Robin Hamburger!  DH gave me money, which is ALways fun!    I bought a cantalope, drain-cleaner and Pace Piquante Sauce.... Now WHO stops at Walmart just for THAT stuff?   But I did....

    Red Robin brought this HUGE chocolate cake/cookie/icecream with choc. syrup & whipped cream....  We all shared it....  I had to....I hate to see grown women cry like that!

    Thank you Enerva  and 2222nd!  And yes Peppermint....!  I'm just glad they didn't all sing Happy Birthday to me....  My Daughter's did this morning, and I loved that, though.

    Cami this is for you, what are you saying now, ? You are 50% banana....well nothing wrong with that. 

    DH is still in hospital, it's been a nightmare. He was in so much pain Sun.- Wed. Today is a little better. He had so many surgeries, procedures. Has a pic line now for 6 weeks of antiboctics.

    on Holeinone your poor dh. Are they controlling his pain ?  Nobody likes staying in the hospital. Surely can't get any rest. Everytime you get to sleep they wake you to see how you are sleeping.  Lol. Ugh. Hope you are taking  your vitamins. Don't want to catch sonething at thd hospital , right.

    Jwoo - thanks for the welcome back.  I've been down in the dumps lately and just stayed away 'cuz I didn't want to rain on anyone's parade.  I can't say I'm feeling any better, but decided that all you lovely ladies cheer me up, so it seems like I should stick around.

    Saw my MO last week - everything is just fine in the cancer free department.  I've got some lymphedema happening, though, and possibly some bone density issues (will know more once I have a DEXA scan). I'm hoping that it's really not an issue - but it seems like my hopes don't usually have a lot to do with reality - so we'll see....  I've been in a lot of pain, though, and that has really gotten to me.  My lower back is having fits and my left leg sometimes hurts so bad I cannot walk across the room.  I should probably go to my acupuncturist more often, but my pocketbook can only take so much strain.  I blame it all on letrozole...  :)

    Hi little owl parts, or owl farts.  And Happy Birthday to chev!  Hello to  newbies and oldies.  Just so you know, I can't keep up with all the pages you little stinkers write but I'm sorry about someone's husband's melting knee.   Can our resident cake baker help him out?  You know,  a little time in time oven to take care of the infection (like cauterizing it) THEN do a little fondant work sculpted to match the other one?   I know,  I'm brilliant! 

    I went to my appointment at MD Anderson yesterday with my MO.  Ugh,  he drives me crazy!   I can't even tell you the number of ways he ticked me off.  I have to wait to next Wednesday to see my RO about the actual trial, because my MO irritates me so badly.   Well actually, because RO's the head of the study.   I'm hoping he will give me information that will confirm that this trip hasn't been a complete waste of time. 

    MO said I could do my chemo back home. .... the same chemo I planned to do at home anyway....?.that I stopped to come down here for the trial   Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    Thank you for listening and for letting me practice my Swyping on my new tablet.

    Gardenbaby, you know you can come here anytime. Some of us need that rain!

    Chevy, sounds like fun. I'll be glad when I can have ANY dessert. My first meal was chicken and zucchini. Tomorrow I'm going out with a GF so will see how I do at a restaurant.

    I also booked airline and hotel in FL for a cruise we had booked. I thought the cruise was cancelled but it was still there, then there was a good price for the airline so we're going in nov. Since there's not going to be any surgery anytime soon might as well go.

    Smarty I will be having fat grafting another time of my next surgery so I will let you know when that's done.

    So I told my family about these tread before and today I received a parcel from one of my niece with a gift for my birthday lol (bd not till another 8 days) anyway here is what I receive, she made it herself lol

    GG, sorry you're down in the dumps! You can bring your parade and the rain here, we'd welcome the rain. Tee Hee. Anything to help make it rain. 

    Water is so important here. Came how from running errands around 4, the new next door neighbor has his sprinklers going full blast (no cars in the driveway so they probably came on automatically). Maybe he mixed up AM and PM.

    CHEVY. give us a date, Promise to not embarrass you, use a napkin. Put something on that's presentable. Will be on best behavior. Maybe get DS to drive from Tampa and meet your DGS's. They can do the bonding FSU thing.

    Enerva I'm immediately in. The owl is so precious. I love folk art. Would buy something even larger in a heartbeat. There is an organization that helps women start businesses for the very type of thing that your sister has done. The gal that runs it started it in Liberia. She won a Noble Peace Prize.  She started with the women in Liberia,  Africa. Now it's a world wide thing. Her original intent was to show that women in Liberia could be independent and use there wonderful hand making skills. They make small business loans to women.Seems we have talked of this before---yes we did when you originally came and I looked up stuff about her. 

    Smarrty------so jealous of all your beautiful curves. My curves don't go in anyway like yours. Did until thyroid went kaflucnky. Then gained 40 lbs. Why are you unhappy with foobs? If I could wear a tee like your pic,  I'd be doing a happy dance? I know we all have different preferences. You look GREAT! Actually, I was your weight when thyroid malfunctioned. I did buy some really cool stuff. Now OH WELL.

    HI1---sorry, you and DH  are going through Chit, just when you saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Sucks.

The fun part of being the keeper is you get to talk to lots of folks. IT IS great to talk. Not that we all can't talk, but it was an unknown side affect of when I did the STFU list.     SAss, I've been told that the goal is to look good in clothes. Yes, they look fine, just don't look too close. Or feel me up! The left one is misshapen and has these ridges at the lower edge like the implant has got kinked up in there. They are hard and feel gross. Not like they're encapsulating. The right now has it also maybe from the weight loss. I should be glad that they have evened out, both have dropped. 

    Bought a couple more bras. These were two for $15 at Ross. Do you guys have Ross stores?Discounted shopping. They have underwires but I just take them out.  I'll show a pic later. Won't be gross, promise. 

    Everybody have a great evening. It's finally starting to cool down a little, only 90.

    Yakkety, Yakkety, yakkety---now I reread over and over but I can only remember so much. Whew. well that sentence used up a whole brain cell.

    Welcome Sailing wind--join in a lot and before u know it u will be as confused a sme. U really made a move, but sounds good for u'r grandkids.

    Hole u'r poor DH, so much pain--that's such a painful area cuz of movement too. Hope he heals quickly.

    GG don't ever feel like not coming here for that reason, we are the dumps here so no worries there (Shut up Chevy)

    And good BD for u and of course it was fun, u make everything fun.

    OK about the banana THIS IS TRUE--Joey was eating a banana the other day and said this could have been my cousin, of course I looked at him and said What?? He explained to me about the DNA and the bananas DNA and it is 50% of OUR DNA not just mine. Sillies. Of course his explanation was much long er than that but that's the bottom line. So that's why I blamed my mushy brain to my boss on the banana, other people don't understand chemo brain really--but a banana is much more believable.,

    Smaarty u look beautiful and good thing u told us u had black panties on, cuz it didn't look like it. LOL

    OK sweet dreams and I'll probably check up during the night--I slept a lot today cuz I woke up during the nite just to take some pain meds, then I was up but then I was tired a lot thru the day. Good thing I work at home---I'd never make it to an office or anywhere else for that matter.

    smaarty...you look great....and now I am going to call you smaarty pants....of course I know that wasn't an owl.....it a birthday penguin for Chevy.....wasn't he soooooo cute ??  Anyway, I thought so.

    My side effects.....ha....I decided no matter what, this cancer can't have my sense of humor . I AM keeping that.!!!!!  When I went through the drive through pharmacy tonight....she actually said...haven't you bee here a lot recently.....really ??  My daughter was in the car and said...wow..that's a bit personal. Every day we add a new "something" and I get a new script and we see. Thanks for asking :)

    Had the MRI this morning. Tech definitely verified there is a brain in there.

    Other than that, will have to wait til Radiologist evaluates.

    good luck with sleep sas....didn't take any help myself this eve and now prob to late..don't know..maybe I will take something......mind is racing still. Long day. My moms bday and we got together with my brother to, and he got sick..I think another kidney stone.  We had to drive him home cause he was in to much pain.. When we got him home he kept asking me questions about the pain and what was located in that area and and and...all I could think of was...DO I LOOK LIKE SAS.   Lol....but I said, do I look like a doctor....he said know, but u know this stuff.  Yeah..noooo.  So I googled anatomy...low left side. Told him there was nothing Important there..lol.  Hope he feels better tomorrow

    hey doc Susan hope your brother feels better, sounds like possibly descending colon, could be many things including constipation. 

    Typing left handed, right hand sore from today's iron infusion. Not much energy yet 2nd, hopefully soon. 

    Smaarty, great pic, very glad you told us about your underwear, cause I was like omg...the mods are going to send you to the big house for xrated pic :)

    Phylissisfrustrated, so sorry that your MO is a weirdo. The RO is in charge of this trial, so hopefully he has a little more charisma. Do you know already what the trial tx is? I saw you changed your bio at the bottom, that had to be a hard thing to do. I think about that obsessively, because of my dx. Hang in there, we are with you all the way. I hope you get a chance to enjoy something in Houston, food, shopping, art, museums....

    Susan & all, thanks for asking & good wishes to DH. He is still in pain, but all drains are out, catheter, all procedures completed. They are ready to release him, maybe Friday. He is so weak, sleeps nonstop. We will see. His old Dr. Is a good friend, retired now. If we need someone to stop by for the med thing this weekend he will be around. Home health will come every day to flush & administer the antiboctics to his pic line. My DD is a social worker, knows what needs to happen. My guess is that he sleeps for a month. His knee got a new pad for his artificial joint, 2 surgeries there & 2 on his elbow. Both areas the staph infection settled in.

     So many things to comment on, now that I'm awake. 

    Congrats to Smarrty, you look fabulous. Food must taste amazing.

    Chevy & Sas, party over...next year bigger & more bling.

    Shout out to Tangadang, hope you are tolerating rads & getting that horrific chemo out of your system.

    Blessings, let us know about your scan, what a unexpected nightmare.

    At LEAST you have good news in the cancer department! You

    referral dinks at my Docs office...

    That won't help your back pain though.

    Is it your disks? So you mean you have Sciatica down
    your left leg? I had 2 ruptured disks, the Ls4 & 5... But I finally had to
    have that fixed about 25 years ago, and it all went away. But my left leg was
    really affected... and the pain had me taking 600 mg of Ibuprofen every 4
    hours.... I'm sorry you are hurting! So what can you do about
    it?

    WTH is SHE talking about? I mean Phylliwiththecure is all
    talking again! She might have a point though HIO! So YOU'RE the one who
    traveled to that TRIAL! Okay, gotcha! You say it's that "clinical" trial?
    And not that OTHER trial you are connected with????

    I did a study/trial once, I mean 1/2 way.... I totally
    flunked... It was some sort of Asthma study with pills... Well I got so damn
    sick with Asthma I had to quit! 1/2 way into it, and I'm ASSUMING here that I
    got the pill that did NOTHING...

    They were miffed that I had to stop... I was pissed that
    I got sick! I had been FINE until my Allergist suggested the clinical
    trial.

    So good luck with yours... See what's it's like..... On
    your trip BACK Thelma, you could find a Louise, and have more fun!

    Cammi, don't even ask her what "Swyping" is.... I don't
    know, so we just act like we do.

    Oh HAPPY BIRTHDAY ENERVAIN8DAYS!!!! And such a cute
    owl! Yes, hang it in your car! But don't come here to Denver in your car! I
    was stopped for not pulling over into "the furthest lane away from a parked
    police cruiser, with his flashers on!?" I just slowed down, and drove past
    him, as he was parked on the side! So he pulled us over, and told me all about
    this new bogus law that was passed that I was supposed to pull CLEAR over when
    ever we saw flashing lights, stopped or not!

    BUT since he knew I didn't have a clue what he was talking
    about, he only gave me a ticket for this little CRYSTAL I had hanging from my
    rear-view mirror! That AH! I mean here I am, old and everything, and I guess I
    needed a ticket for SOMEthing, so it was that crystal.... About as big as a
    little marble!

    So just beware....:)

    Spookie.... It's just that DD and oldest Grand-son have
    been at "odds" lately.... But they both called yesterday, and all "seems"
    fine... I'll plan at LEAST a lunch with you guys, okay? I'll talk to her when
    she comes here next month...

    Sass, I'm not sure of a date yet... but we get there at
    night on the 24th, and leave the next Tues. afternoon the 30th..... So I'll see
    what the family has planned...

    are sleeping, you don't need the meds? So I just fixed that notion of
    yours.

    did! Don't pay attention to miss SmartyPants...

    Oh? The drive-up bitch? Just tell her "Yes, thank-you, I
    am the Secret Service and I am checking up on this establishment.... ummmmm we

    See what she says THEN! And just drive through there
    randomly every day... Don't order anything.... Just drive up and say "just
    checking" and speed off!

    Okay, your Brother needs "fixin" now? Is he getting some
    sort of help, like from somebody that KNOWS something? Ah MAN! I think he
    needs help!
