morning,
Chevy Holly, if you see all the crap I got on the mirror in my car ha ha ha I had no idea I could get a ticket, lol I will remove some of the stuff but I am planning on getting my little owl in there lol
-
pooh... Just lost my post.
All I know about chickens is how to cook 'em.
Chevy, I don't know what sciatica is. I do have a herniated disk which could be the sourc e of the pain, but I've had it for a long while and this pain s relatively new. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to nsaids so have limited pain relief options.
But today I'm on the boat with hubby. He is fishing I is relaxing. S'nice.
-
sciatica? I think this is a nerve which run from the hip down the legs
That is where my bro had c.
-
he had cancer on his hip? That sounds terrible!
-
yes, he past away last June, before he got sick I never new about that nerve either. But I can tell you it was very painful and that nerve affects the entire leg.
My bro lasted 4 months after dx.
-
so sorry, enerva.
Whatever I've got going on is very painful and sometimes my leg just collapses under me. It's worse if I walk a lot. I've not gone to the doctor about it because thru really like this replacement stuff, and I don't want yo deal with that....
-
Yes.... my disks had ruptured, and that "stuff" had coagulated and was pressing on my sciatic nerve.... It hurt all the way down my leg into my foot... So it HAD to be fixed. But it worked out well!
Sorry about your Brother Enerva.... My problem just started when I twisted my back, and I heard a "pop".... from then on, it was downhill..... Just had to get it fixed. They didn't put a rod in, the neurologist said it would fuse together on it's own.... and he must have been right.
-
Gardeng, please don't be scare of what I said I don't think you have c there in fact my bro s cancer was in the hip, I mean in the bone right beside that nerve so it cuz the nerve to hurt. Don't think you have such thing. I know that if that nerve is hurting you there is treatments for it ok I am so sorry I don't want to suggest anything I only wanted you to know what that nerve is. Try to get help cause I know how painful it was for my brother I honestly know it's so painful and your leg does gives up at times. But do not think you got c. Please it must be just the nerve.

Hi Ladies---
OK Chevy look it up about the bananas--IT'S TRUE--I don't get it but it's true.
GG as I said there are so many things going on in backs--mine lower discs are , I can't think of the words but they are like disintegrating along with the lower vertebrae so it can go all over and the pain is relentless, and no I don't set up my alarm like some people think--it's the pain that wakes me, sometimes it's in a dream that I'm in so much pain, then I wake up and find it's true. Damn dreams. And that's how I fall easily not cuz I'm doing pole dancing like some, but my one leg and back just give out so I go down.
Phylointhedust--I really hope they will help u, but if this could be done where u live that is just stupid having u drive ll that way just to approve u. Doesn't make sense, but then again what does.....
Hole u have to much on u'r mind and today is Friday and I hope u'r DH comes home in a little better state---How do u catch something like that in u'r elbow and knee? It's strange to me.
Enerva how sad for u and u'r family--I just hate cancer like sll of us do.
OK I have some work to do.

Smarrtieeeeeeeeeeeyou do look GREAT IN CLOTHES!!!.............but your description of how the girls feel, makes sense why you want to change. Glad you clarified on the Uhhums... first reaction was OhMY she forgot something, almost fell out of bed. LOLOLOLOLO.
Susieque continuing laughing---pharm clerk "you've been here allot"--REALLY--stupid person. Oh and the anatomy thingy...not much in that area. owwwwhh it hurts so much.....by now DB has probably found out what body part caused enough pain to double him over. There's enough there to cause aaaaaaaaaaalllllll kinds of trouble.
Golfgirl hugs for you and DH. Yay DS is a social worker--she will keep them all straight. Think Fentanyl patch with oxy for breakthrough.
Blessings glad you found your brain.
2pm have to get ready to meet Ds new GF. Didn't plan this well, nothing ready to wear.
Found this this morning, you will smile all the way through

Gumby, better to have it checked out. Lots of things do better with an early diagnosis. LOTS. Waiting too long sometimes causes much more damage. Then sometimes it makes it to late to fix. Take a deep breath , pick up the phone and make an appointment We can deal better with the known than the unknown
-
enerva, I'm so sorry if I implied that I was worried it was cancer in my hip. I'm really not concerned about that. I'm just sick of the pain. Not sure yet what i will do about it other than acupuncture and massage. Those give me some relief now. When I start on Medicare, though they will no longer be covered, so something will have to change somewhere.

Hi 2nd, I remember my grandpa smoking Parliament Cigarettes....never knew it was a group of owls.
Hope everyone is doing well and getting ready for the weekend. Still really hot here, and still have idiots shooting off fireworks at night. The sheriff has been called out but never finds who keeps doing this. The hills are very dry. Certainly hope nothing catches on fire.
Cooking steak tonight, with baked potatoes and corn on the cob and green chopped side salad...you are all invited

ohohoho me first, me first! I can get food now! Actually went out to a restaurant today and got chicken with zucchini. Funny, that's what I had yesterday at home.
Blessings, glad you got a brain. Hopefully they don't find too much wrong, something that can be easily fixed.
Susan, think about it, I don't color ALL my hair! How you feeling? How long do you stay on this chemo? Then do they wait awhile or just find something else?
Got a couple more bras. Tomorrow going to see if I can find some jeans. Haven't bought store-bought jeans in years.
Tanggggg, where are you? Doing better? No drain? Hopefully no more infection!
Everybody have a good weekend. Hot here, got to 108. Don't like it that hot.
-
Holy Chit Smarty all the bras u have---I have 2 stuffed but I hate wearing them so most of the time I go with a big scarf or big necklaces, I feel like even tho they were my size, it just dowsn't look right, yet yet it would make me look more normal--if that's even possible.
Enerva imagine if we went to a therapy class to watch what we say----we'd be the first to be kicked out. I told u guys when I was in my 30's I went back to school with my cousin--it was a legal course and the first nite we were asked to leave--they were all adults, but we paid for it so we showed up the next week and again asked to leave BUT we could take notes outside the door--The teacher even separated us the first class but didn't work. So u see I never had a filter and my cousin didn't either and we laughed so hard at each other all the time that we'd pee, which is frowned upon everywhere we went. Everywhere.

Update on DS... GF is wonderful. Sweet, open, beautiful, warm. They are wonderful together. I have met her ,but it was when they were high school. This absolutely, could be a match made in heaven
We were catching up on family, like old friends. Ds was much more comfortable with DBF. All in all a great dinner, and the food was great too, Macaroni Grill
-
O.K..... drum roll......
NORMAL BRAIN MRI!!!
Or maybe I should say that a different way... they found no bleeds, no clots, no tumors, no scary things in the MRI.
As for my brain being "normal", well...
Now I just have to be PATIENT as I try to regain my balance and my memory.
Hope all y'all are having a great Friday night....
xoxoxoxo
-
Blessings that is great news.
Feeling down, back pain is worse than ever and pain in skull is back, stinging, burning and to top it all off, Been fighting a migraine since last night and DH is being an ass again.
But I'll be ok, tomorrow is a new day abd hopefully things will level off.
Good night. Here's to a better tomorrow.
-
I'm like a 100 posts behind....sheesh!!
My Izzy's bday was 7/29 and tomorrow we are having her party. I'm exhausted, so I'm thankful that my parents are hosting and helping alot with it. She's turning 5
I've noticed that my face is getting really oily and I even have a couple of pimples popping up. During chemo my face was clear, so maybe it is starting to get out of my system now. My legs are so sore though! I went on a few walks this week since the weather was cooler and I'm thinking that is part of the reason. My calves are tight!!
Anyway, that's all I'm gonna get into for now. ((hugs))
-
chevy would love to come to your party.....
got predasone for the lungs hopefully it will make the beathing better...no new breathing machine, hope the steroid will work.
garden I am so sorry about your dh..
