Curve, now that IS great news!
Ruth, (this may be TMI) I use a daily nasal rinse - was suggested I use a stronger dose and to lie down to let the saline reach further up in the sinus cavities. Instant relief!
-
It's not TMI if it helps somebody!
-
Tonight I am grateful for my heating pad/back massager
Happy Anniversary wyo
-
Chissy - beautiful pic!
2ta - great info! I use a neti pot all the time.
Today I am grateful for my friend Joe who has decided to adopt an elderly beagle girl from the rescue. And I am grateful that Carl the cowdog only had a broken tooth and that is why he was acting out, so he won't be returning to the rescue. Yeah I know, random.
-
I'm grateful that 2nd_time shared her headache remedy......I believe information and encouragement on these threads are like ripples in a pond....they go farther than we could ever imagine!!!
-
ni...so true
I am grateful for some alone time today.
-
I am grateful that my MIL is getting to see Charleston this weekend. She is with my niece this weekend who started law school there in the fall. She's going to take her on a horse and buggy ride through the pretty part of the city. I know she'll like that.
-
I am grateful that my mother taught me to love reading.

-
Grateful to have a new HVAC system in this bitter cold which keeps us very comfortable and is the proper size.

I am grateful my back is much less painful today.
-
I'm grateful that we are getting a very gentle rain that is watering my garden........there is nothing like the real thing to give the plants a lift.
-
Happy Anniversary wyo, thirty years - that is wonderful.
I'm two days behind...
For day 21, I am grateful to have the plastic surgeon that I have, in fact I got 'lucky' with all of my cancer docs, I believe.
For day 22, I am grateful for pain meds because sometimes they just really help.
For today I am grateful that I have a large extended family and that we all stay in touch and understand that being a distant cousin makes you solidly family.
-
Day 23: I am so grateful for the kinds words from you ladies! Have been feeling a bit down as I don't feel really sick but not well enough to go out. Pretty weather and I'm just not up to it. So I appreciate the uplifting thoughts more than you know
-
I am grateful DD calls her momma when she is upset or has had a bad day. Love that baby girl.
-
I am so far behind, but have not forgot to count my blessings on a daily basis. Things that I have been grateful for in the past few days........
Winning a raffle basket of Steeped Tea from the skating competition I attended last weekend.
My son has a great start at a career and a trade to keep him employed for many a year to come.
DH continues to show his never ending love for me every day
Playing cribbage with my 79 year old father on a regular basis. (win some, lose some)
Seeing the good in the world around me.

Didn't post yesterday - was struggling trying to be grateful. In retrospect - grateful I got thru the day without blowing up to people.
Today -grateful for good friends who pick you up when car is still not working right and an ex who readily agrees to pick up dd after school cuz I dont' have a car!
-
Ok - a real quick one cuz i'm paying through the nose to make this post! I am so grateful that my DH finally made it to Cayo Coco, but most sad that he had only 3 days here. We have been having so much fun though. Hugs'n'kisses, Deb -
Grateful for my sweet MO who always encourages me in some meaningful way. Grateful also that another Herceptin infusion was done today and that my heart is still functioning well.
-
Deb, I'm glad your husband finally made it. Pack a lot of fun into those three days!
Today I'm grateful that my cabinets are finally 100% stained. It looks so much better, not stuck in the 80's anymore.
Now on to picking out new hardware and installing it.
Also grateful for my DH who has been hard at work cutting and trimming trees in the yard.
-
I am grateful that we have been downgraded from a blizzard warning to a winter weather watch!
-
Red, good to hear! Now stay off the Internet and enjoy your fun in the sun! No sun burns!
Day 24: today I am grateful I finally got out of the house! Also happy I didn't get caught leaving a plant by a friend's front door and I remembered it probably wasn't a good idea to leave flowers as I originally planned because she's having allergy/breathing problems. Don't want to make it worse.
-
RedReading,so glad your DH made it! Your just going to have to do it again for a longer time!
I missed yesterday, grateful for my new glasses, I can see again! Chemo seemed to really mess up my eyes, which were always changing, so I had to wait to get new rx
Today I'm grateful for my second haircut-ok, "shaping" lol really want my hair to grow, but it was looking very dishevelled and needed some help!
Hope everyone has a gret week end.
