100 Days of Gratitude
There are days when it can be hard to find something to be grateful for in the midst of all that surrounds us. So I am starting this thread to celebrate the good things in our lives.
You may find the first 20 or so are easy but there will probably come a day when it seems impossible to find a single thing to be grateful for. On those days I concentrate on the little things. The laundry is done, a stranger said hi, didn't burn dinner.
So join me please!

I am grateful for the blessings of each day. The birds outside singing and playing in the birdbath. My little dogs sleeping peacefully by my side.
-
I am grateful for the beautiful lady who was my counselor when I fell off the edge after dx. I just spoke to her this morning. We will be forever connected.
Red - thanks for starting this!
-
I'm so very grateful to be here, to celebrate another New Years with those I love.
-
I am grateful that I enjoyed today.
-
(For Day #1) I am grateful for technology so we can have BCO and all our cyber friends, for cell phones with Internet, text and email so I can communicate with friends without saying a word out loud,
And like CCFW, grateful you started this thread!
-
I'm grateful that my 93 year old mom and breast cancer survivor is still going strong.

Day #2
Today I am grateful for a decent job to go to.
-
I am grateful for the love of family and friends.
-
Day #2 today I am grateful for snoring beagles - two in the bed, two on the floor, and a hot cup of tea as I enjoy some early morning quiet time.
-
Missed yesterday so will add 2 today
1. Grateful I was able to catch a snooze (or two) to help me get through the day.
2. Already found something - DH made my brekkie for me.

CCFW-brekkie = breakfast! Mmmmm ;-) I'm grateful that I actually looked forward to 15 min. on treadmill!
-
I am really, really grateful that both my mammogram and DEXA scan looked good today.
-
Snoring dogs, brekkie made by anyone else (was it in bed? Lol), the strength to shovel (yuck), the will to exercise, family and friends, good mammo (what's a Dexa?). All excellent things to be grateful for ladies. :-)
-
DEXA is a bone density scan....good idea to get a baseline in your early 50s and then have one every other year once you turn 60. If you have had chemo and/or are doing anti-hormonals, you should get them every other year even if you are younger, because both can be hard on the bones.
-
grateful for my crazy spin instructor who tonight pushed me beyond my limit
-
(day #2) I am grateful I shut my mouth when I wanted to get angry at both DD and DH today.
Ruth, best news! Perfect way to start the new year!
-
what a great idea. I am grateful for being alive and well. Life is good
-
I am grateful that I had the energy to organize, pack, and move DD out of her apartment AND I didn't think about BC once!!
-
Great thread!
I am grateful for sleeping teens, hot chocolate = quiet time
Be well

Day #3
I am grateful for my DH, who tries really hard to get it, but mostly doesn't. But he TRIES!!
Thanks for starting the morning off ladies, I hit snooze too many times this morning and didn't have time before I left for work.
-
I am grateful for my nice, hot cup of coffee!
-
I am grateful I am done with chemo! 12 days out and feeling good!
-
I am grateful for feeling well.
