-

-
I some how forgot to post yesterday so I will do two.
I am grateful for the love of family.

-
I am grateful that my son is home this weekend.
I am grateful our extended family dinner tonight.
I am grateful for my little dog that's a sleep in my lap.
-
@2TA, I think I may have overdone it a bit yesterday and today, but I have to stay home tomorrow and Tuesday waiting for final electrical inspection, so I'll have a chance to catch my breath.
-
Puppy I am minding has been bouncing off the walls all day and getting herself into all kinds of mischief, so today I am grateful I have patience.
Maddy sorry I couldn't make the San Diego lunch, next month for sure and I am super grateful that I got to be Chrissy's tour guide on the Southern California portion of her trip to the US.
-
Chrissy - I hope you're having a fabulous time, you world traveler you!
Hbcheryl - good for you for puppy patience! They're too much for me.
Curve - Have a restful, restorative day. Thinking of you.
Grateful for another great night's sleep. Is ten hours too much?
-
Lol Farmerlucy that trip was in September 2011 and I enjoyed every second of it and I do wish I could do it all over again.....
-
I am grateful that Denver is going to the Super Bowl because my sister is a diehard Broncos fan (one of her cats is named Champ Bailey after one of their players), and now she is happy, happy!
-
Today, I am grateful for new friends just met, and for the sun that finally decided to show up. With luck, my DH will also show up today! :-) -
So much gratefulness to get caught up with - love it!
Red - sure hope DH can make it today.
Grateful that I made it home safe and sound from road trip yesterday - winter weather is so unpredictable.
Today I am grateful for jujubes! So tasty.
-
Grateful that the "fix" on my car was cheap and easy today. Over 230,000 miles and know I will need a new one soon, just hoping to get thru the New England winters
-
I am very grateful I fell asleep without my sleeping pill first time in 6 months...
-
I'm grateful to find that perfect color for my kitchen cabinets. Now the hard stuff begins, applying that perfect color. But, I do love my little projects. They take a little money and a lot of work.
-
I am grateful for the new cardiologist that has been assigned my mothers case ......finally.......Hope he finds a solution to her congestive heart failure issues .
-
Grateful for my teeth cleaning today and for enough energy to walk a mile this morning.
-
Susie, what is the perfect cabinet color?
-
Nel, I'm in a similar situation -drive a 1996 with 214,000 kms! She still goes though! Today I am so very grateful for my sister. It's her birthday today and is the best sister in the world. She has supported me emotionally through a difficult year and I'm so grateful for all she has done for me.
-
Grateful today for good friends that have dropped by unexpectedly for a lovely visit.
-
My gratitude today is a long story. Minor abdominal pain has been bugging me all day but I was waiting for an electrical inspector to come and do the final sign-off for my electrical permit. Pain kept on and I finally decided I was going to go to Urgent Care, but first called the City to reschedule the inspection in case I got admitted to the hospital. Got the recording saying "City offices are closed today for the Martin Luther King holiday". At first I was peeved because I waited all day for an inspector who wasn't coming. But I'm definitely grateful for all that Dr King and others in the Civil Rights movement went through and the improvement it has made in my life.
-
Ruth, for me it's Bombay Mahogany. A really pretty deep brown with a reddish tint. It's a badly needed update to my 1980's stain. I'm pairing that with the small square glass tile backsplash. Keeping the neutral colored countertops, for now anyway, because countertops are ridiculously expensive.
-
Curve, I hope your pain subsides.
-
Susie123 - I love to put a coat of paint on things - it's like magic. Whatever it is that you paint can look so different.
Curveball - I, too, am sending best wishes for you to get relief from that pain.
Today, I am grateful that I get to get up in the morning and go get this drain out - hopefully - but even if it's not tomorrow, it will be soon.
-
Curveball hope you are feeling better.
Today I am grateful that my friends Grandbaby arrived safely into this world
-
Day 20: grateful for the pain meds and sleep that helped me with my sinus problems that turned to a migraine. A friend was going to come over for lunch but plans got mixed up, so I'm also grateful it worked out that we'll reschedule for another day.
Curve, hope you're feeling much better.
Red, hoping DH gets passport issues completed and joins you soon
-
Grateful that our grown kids not only love each other but are really good friends.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
-
Grateful the worst of the snow will be after I am home for work today. Will work from home Wednesday - well stocked, brownies, wine what else does one need in a blizzard!
-
Grateful that I was able to go to my fun exercise classes this morning.
-
Day 21: was surprised last night that I got a text from DD saying she would be home early. So, DD came home about an hour ago, 9:30. (Turns out her BF got called up for his military duty, he's in the reserves.) Glad she's home safe and in a good mood.
Edited to add: seeing how many flights are cancelled, so very happy DD is home
-
Today I am grateful for the hope in my heart that my DH will join me tonight. I am praying that the new passport went through and that i can pick him up at the airport.Curve, sorry for your pain.
Maddy, miss you.
Kathy, how is your daughter? Your dad? You!!!!!???
