100 Days of Gratitude

Good Morning Ladies,
farmerlucy - we used to have a heron that visited our pond. It was wonderful Moved , no more heron! But grateful for the less stress in the condo vs the house.
Just grateful for the simple pleasures to be up, here and feeling well today. Plans with a friend this evening Both of my teens home last night and watching the Butler with me.
-
I am grateful for my Christian upbringing and strong faith.
-
Today, I am grateful to be on Cayo Coco.
Today, I am most unhappy that my DH could not come with me. He brought an expired passport with him. They said go home get your proper passport and we will put you on the next flight. Next thing you know, he was gone and i was on a plane.
He can't find it anywhere. He'll have to get another and nothing is open till Monday.
There has to be a silver lining somewhere, girls.
Keep smiling.
-
(((((Red))))) Praying his passport turns up!

for yesterday, Day 17: so grateful the winds have died down allowing the fire fighters to get some control over LA/Glendora fire
Day 18: I gave in and attended a new yoga class this morning - at the city's senior center. Not ready to accept "middle age" status (no comments please!), but I guess I'm happy to still be here to reach that chapter.
Clickchick, beautiful, hoping you realize you have a wonderful talent
Curveball, glad to hear it was a minor leak
Rakovina, I'm envious! DH never rubs my feet (shoulders or back occasionally but expects something is return )
Chrissy, I think we're experiencing the same situation with heat, winds and fire (almost songs like a singing group). We're being told that water rationing will probably happen, they want us to start reducing usage by 20%.
Red, was looking forward to no posts because you're so busy enjoying your vacay. Not happy to see your last post, hoping it gets resolves quickly.
Wyo, got the steel cut oats, now eager to try it out.
-
oh Red, hope he joins you soon!
Grateful for a lovely lazy day! Other than a nice half hour walk on treadmill, I've done nothing!
-
Grateful today for a wonderful visit from an old friend of my DH. We had lunch here which I prepared for the three of us. Old friends are a treasure.

-
I am grateful that hubby enjoys visiting new places and walking outdoors with me.
-
Oh Red - That really sucks. I hope it gets resolved ASAP Monday.
-
Ok I have another one for today...is two allowed?
I am grateful I am learning how to create and feel more joy....that is the best thing that has come out of this whole BC ordeal. Praise God for joy!
-
I just now saw this thread. I read the first two pages and will have to read the others as I have time. I hope it is ok to jump in mid-stream since I didn't start back on Jan. 1.
I am thankful to have water that I can take a shower in. (Says the girl from WV who has been affected by the chemical spill in the river that contaminated our water supply and went for a week without being able to use the water. Still only bathing and washing with it. Don't know if I'll ever drink or cook with it again. At least not for a long time. A scary week!)
-
Faith - Welcome! Ick!! re: water. Glad it is improving.
-
faith. Stay safe
Grateful for friends and being able to talk to folks who get what this is like
-
I am grateful I was able to get my grocery shopping done today without becoming exhausted.
-
Awe Red, hope hubby gets that passport sorted and joins you soon, in the mean time rest and relax so you will have loads so energy when he get there..............okay, okay.......I meant for taking walks and things........lol.
I am grateful that the temperature today is mild and my old animals (cat 21,dog 13) are more comfortable and able to go outside when they want.
-
Today I am grateful for my silly kids - who brought a smile to my face this morning with this picture!
-
I am grateful that my BF cleans the snow off my car and that the weather is nice enough to play bingo!
-
Faith, hope the water situation is totally safe! That must be scary, and we also forget how much we depend on having clean, fresh water available.
Today I am very thankful that a dear friend of mine is doing a lot better after having a heart attack on the 10th, being on ventilator for 2 days, having a big blood clot that the drs tended to, getting pneumonia, then discovering she has a-fib. As soon as the a-fib is under control, she starts rehab for a couple of wks, so will be a long time till she is home. And Thank God for facebook, as I wondered why I had not heard from her for a few days, and yesterday saw a post asking for prayers for her. SO glad she is on the road to recovery!!!!
Hoping Red's DH can join her soon!!!!
What a gorgeous, happy picture, FarmerLucy!
-
I am grateful I was able to go to church this morning.
-
I am grateful that my friend, who dislodged her femur Friday in a freak accident, made it through surgery OK and is doing as well as can be expected.
-
Goodness - all these friend health issues!
Curveball - me too.
lovewins - I love BINGO!
Red thinking of you and hoping your DH found his passport (along with the silver lining).
-
Grateful for the farmers who produce kale and cauliflower and for the fishermen who catch haddock.
-
Curveball - I'm glad that you were able to make it to church today, just getting out of the house and being able to do things that once seemed so simple can be a wonderful blessing.
Red - I hope your husband will have is passport early tomorrow & be with you in time for dinner.
farmerlucy - that's a great picture -
I'm behind a day so..
Day 18 - I am grateful that my wonderful friend Abby came over and brought flowers and sushi. We have been very good friend since I was three & she was an infant. She and I were diagnosed 2 days apart (luckily she is DCIS).We're both grateful that if we had to go through this that we had each other from the get go.
Day 19 - I'm grateful for what has been a very quiet day.
-
grateful for the day
-
me too farmerlucy...I lost but was glad to see my friends and get out of the house!
-
Grateful to have had my youngest child home from college for the past 5 weeks. He goes back tomorrow.
-
I'm so grateful for my son loving his mother enough to always phone me. He is such a blessing and always makes me laugh! I am equally grateful for my daughter as she is the sensible one who steers me in the right direction when needed!
-
Day 19: grateful I made the last-minute decision for a "quick" trip to meet the San Diego ladies for lunch. Grateful BCO made this happen, such brave, incredible women!
Chrissy, were your ears burning a couple of hours ago? Of course your name came up, you inter-continental traveler, you! SoCal Lisa was asking how you're doing....
Farmerlucy (name change?), that's a really cool and wonderful photo! What a treasure!
Curve, happy you got out today, hoping it wasn't too much.
Faith, hoping he isn't too far away and gets to come home soon.
