    Our Vegas trip is amazing.... :)     There are always between 40-60 of us.... This is our 5th year. I wish we could post pictures here, on BCO for you..... as we all met here, but for safety reasons... we cannot. Just know........... that we are STRONG woman who have fought the battle... some lost. We will continue to stand in strength....... year after year.. for ALL the TATA SISTERHOOD that comes out of BCO.  We thank you for this site. It was our lifeline. Blessings! Laura

    11 days till Vegas...ok some fo you only 10 then there is one of you by this Sunday & those getting there on Friday.....no matter how many days...were all so pumped & excited!!!

    Getting excited! Was able to get out yesterday and bought some new PJs....pretty sad that new pjs makes me happy, but it does! Childhood thing I guess, lol. I'm reading your posts here and on FB, and loving the excitement! Busy with packing up my house to move 5 days after I return home from Vegas. I'm getting it done!!!

    I've been working on the line dance...YA all got it down yet??  Remember, Mary is giving us a shot for doing it on Thursday nite at Gilley's...Will have to keep tabs on me, not for the drinking, but for the Dancin....once this gal hits the dance floor I can't help myself & my feet take total control over my bod Surprised!!

    It is almost here........OK Ladies here is the schedule again.....

     ..              Thursday, September 26thCool

    9:00pm – Pre-gathering – Gilley’s at Treasure Island

    • ·         Friday, September 27thCool

    10:00am – Cabana available at Aria pool area.  Mary H. will be hosting this.  If you are interested, you can pay her for participating when you arrive.  She will not have the specific cabana information until the morning of, so just look for a cabana that is “marked” in some way to signify BCO.   If Mary cannot get a Cabana we can hang out by the pool.

    7:00pm - Meet and Greet – The Pub at Monte Carlo - Whatever we order will have to be paid on one check that will include 20% gratuity. So, PLEASE bring CASH!!! The Pub is located in the Monte Carlo which is attached to the Aria Hotel. To get there you walk toward the "Roasted Bean" in Aria, go up the escalator, turn right toward the tram and enter Monte Carlo. Go down escalator toward Starbucks and next to "The Crepe" is The Pub. (FYI - Happy Hour is 3-6.)

    9:30pm - Dancing – Mizuya Lounge in Mandalay Bay - $5 per person fee (to be collected at the Meet and Greet) and two drink p/person minimum at lounge.  Mizuya Lounge is located in Mandalay Bay (you can walk through Monte Carlo, into NYNY to the bridge to Excalibur and then take the tram at Excalibur to Mandalay Bay) and is on the casino level towards back end (look for signage).  Opening band will be playing when we arrive, main band (called Phoenix) will start at 10:30.

    • Saturday, September 28thCool

    10:00am - Group Breakfast - Kahunaville at Treasure Island; everyone orders individually off menu; approximate cost is $15 p/person (more or less depending on what is ordered)

    8:00pm - Piano Bar - New York New York; $10 p/person cover charge

    • Sunday, September 29thCool

    1:30pm - Brunch at Wicked Spoon - gather outside buffet and be ready to enter at 1:30; cost has been pre-paid to Tracey ($42.60 w/o alcohol; $55.51 w/alcohol - either unlimited Champagne, Bloody Mary or Mimosa).  Please contact her if you haven’t sent in payment yet.

    5:00pm (or whenever the group decides to go) - Freemont Street; we usually grab a limo or bus at a designated area a couple hours after brunch for the whole group to go downtown together; approximate cost $15 p/person; on own for return using cabs - cost is around $20 (shared by 4 or 5 people = $5) - so around $20 p/person

    10:00pm (or whenever) - Farewell gathering - Rhumbar at Mirage - no reservation, just take over space.

    We will find a place to eat breakfast as a group on Monday for those of us leaving late or leaving on Tuesday...

    I cannot wait to see all of you ladies!!!!

    VEGAS TIP:  24 hr bus pass $5. 3 day pass $20.  Take the express down the strip, up and down, and all around town.

    VEGAS TIP:  If you plan to walk, wear good shoes.  Things are farther apart than they look.  See bus pass / above.

    VEGAS TIP:  If you drink, seriously drink, buy the "yards" and fill em up.  Carry them with you everywhere. Or, bring a flask, buy a bottle, fill it in your room.

    Sitting here at Las Vegas McCarren airport, waiting to fly home, just to drive back in 10 days. Maybe I should just stay?

    Jancie:  I dropped some serious coin at Mermaids.....try to pick it up for me when you get here.

    Remember, I'll have a car if anyone needs to get out of town. 

    I found something new this trip:  the World's Largest Chocolate Fountain at the Bellagio.  I didn't even know it was there.  Pretty cool.  The chocolate shop in there has some good stuff!!

    Just catching up here and getting SOOO excited!!! I did step 2 of packing tonight.... narrowing it down and planning the clothes I actually need, then adding a few more... ;-) making the final lists to pack, to do, to prepare, to call, to finish.... Oh, and taxes, too... Calgon... (Vegas Sisters), take me away!!!!!!!!!

    LOL.. Love this thread...... Vegas here we come !!!!!!!!!!

    Hubby and I will get there the 25th.... We will pack everything late night of the 24th...LOL....... I am so busy here... :).......... BUT.......... my day job and my hubby's extra curricular pastime( Drummer in a band)... makes our closets full of all cloths needed for ANY venue....I hope the weather is HOT so we can all enjoy the pool like the past years. ( minus one rainy trip).....

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ready for a VACATION....... pulling 60+ hours a week for months has been rough for me ( even though I have loved it all...aka.... Permanent Makeup to train  soon with JUDY..to get the art of 3D areola tattooing down...)...... I , for the first time, feel closer to 50 than 40. Whew...  XOXO

    SheChirple, thanks for the tips! My problem with the yard is that I drink more that way 'cause I feel like it should be empty! Yup, real discipline problem here! Love the bus idea. Wonder if those passes are for sale at Aria?

    You can buy the Buss passes right on the busses.....  But we all seem to take cabs together... and  split.... so you might wanna wait and see what " We" are all doing... My hubby and I always do the bus passes when just us......... it is a great deal !!!!!!

    Neen & Mar - I love to dance!!!! That said, I am not a "dancer" and those moves will most likely be beyond what I can retain!! LOL!  I'm gonna give it a try this weekend but I don't hold out much hope. So, I'll probably be on the sidelines cheering with you two!

    Marlegal-one of the girls(sorry can't remember who right now) was just there playing the mermaids slots on Fremont & had shared that either herre or on the TA TA site....I don't recall her posting how it was there.....

    As fer the line dance....we'll all be having so much fun stomping, clapping & kicking up our heels won't matter if ya know the dance or not-just being together & creating our own will be a hoot!!
