GG - is that true for you with Sheep's milk or goat's milk cheese.  Find I can tolerate eith so much easier than cow.  Also tastes better.  Many of the small, "artisan" farms are selling their cheese in farmer's markets around here.  Tastes SO much better than the wrapped in plastic or filled with fruit stuff sold in stores.

Also FYI - all the "greek" yogurt is cow's milk - with added GUAR GUM to make it seem like what we used to eat in Greece - yuck.

Unfortunately, I tolerate cheese very well, Frown, so no incentive there. On a positive note, I did lose a pound this week! I'm going to check with my endocrinologist about the thyroid nodules, and accompanying issues, possibly affecting my weight.

Sunny - I don't know if the same would happen with sheep or goat cheese.  I haven't eaten any cheese in the evening for a long long time, now, as I really hate to throw up.  Mostly I just buy cheese hubby likes and he doesn't like sheep or goat cheese (though I've fed him some in the past and he didn't object too strenuously....)

All the greek yogurt isn't with added guar gum (though most is!!).  I usually make my own yoghurt and then hang it in cheese cloth to make it "greek" yoghurt.  But when I don't have time, then I will get whole milk greek yoghurt - The Greek Gods brand.  I'm fairly sure (though not 100%, as I don't have any in front of me at the moment) that there is no guar gum in it.  It and Chobani are the only two brands of greek yoghurt I will buy, and there's another brand of regular yoghurt - I think it's called The Mountain - I'll buy their plain yoghurt as well.  I don't buy flavored yoghurt, though.  Only plain.

Waving hi as I've had so much going on at work.....just coming home, doing what I have to do to get by and quick bath and to bed.

I eat cheese, but in spells......it is just too long a spell when it starts.  Maybe I could work on that.  Also, I get the Greek Choban yogurt.....nothing flavored.  I sometimes add fresh fruit myself if I want it.  Also buy StoneyFarms yogurt from time to time.

E....wow.  Why do things often work out well, when you start out with the viewpoint that "this is something we are not really going to do".  No matter.....it is all looking so good, along with you.

    Hi Everyone,

Blue .. that Cheech and Chong thing cracks me up!

Sunnyflowers ... did you see my note yesterday about what type of colored pencils you would recommend.  I have a nice set of Fantasia and they don't break off when being sharpened, but the Prismacolor ones break all the time!

Chickadee ... been thinking about you.

PIP .. are you getting settled in your new house?

Enjoyful ... the man is cute ... so glad you're really happy.

    hugs to all,

    Bren

Bren - I have Prismacolor and they frustrated me (I don't even try drawing anymore).  I wonder if they get old?

Sunny - Yes Lum A can be grade 3, though it is still the best subtype to have.  I think subtype,  i.e. comparing Lum A, Lum B, basal, Her2 enriched, luminal-Her2, etc., more than grade, is considered more of a prognostic factor for 10 year period than just grade, from my reading.  Maybe within a subtype, grade becomes a factor? Don't know.  There are so many factors involved on top of that...lvi, nodes, etc.

E- you are beautiful and so young looking! Your hair looks good too.

I saw a headline at Huffpost that IRS "scandel" is closed.  How did Fox News close it out?  Just curious.  Maybe Darrel Issa full of hot air?  The used car salesman strikes again?  I mean, do these non-scandels just quietly disappear off the zany RWer's TV sets?

Bren...we are in between houses.  My dh has been doing the new floors and some renos while I have stayed at the farm to pack.  We keep loading the truck with boxes whenever he comes back so the little things are going a bit at a time.  The plan is to make the big move next Thursady although the farm doesn't close until July 5th.

Bren - sorry I missed your colored pencil question.  I would ALWAYS suggest Faber Castell Polychromos which are oil based, so no "blooms" with lotsa layers, and their Albrecht Durer ( watercolor pencils) are excellent.

Prismacolor is available all over, which is probably why better known, but their LEAD is never centered, which is why they get so chopped and break when sharpened.  All the only art supply places have "specials" on the pencils, and the best DESCRIPTION is still, IMHO, Dick Blick.  Usually have the lowest price, and the best "coupon" offers too...

    Happy colored pencils....

Thanks for the info Sunnyflowers.  I have a few Faber water color pencils and they hold up pretty well.  Just very frustrated, like Kam, with the Prismacolor.  I looked up the Dick Blick site yesterday when I was doing a search on colored pencils.  I'll look for the Faber Castell Polychromos next.

PIP .. It's great that you're able to move a little at a time.  Are you going to have room for all your stuff at your new house?

    hugs,

    Bren

Sunnyflowers ... OMG ... the Faber Castell's are really expensive.  Going to check around and see what kind of price I can get on them individually.  No wonder they don't break when you sharpen them ... you have to pay for good quality!

    hugs,

    Bren

Prismacolor are wax based, and HORRIBLY made, lead is not centered, and they are KNOWN for breaking - what is good in that line, are the STICKS, square shaped, no wood, but I still prefere the Faber Castell Polychromos. AND, their colors match across the line: Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils, pastels,

Anyone noticed who the Food Network is not renewing the contract of???  Surprise, surprise....not that I've ever watched the Food Network, but I did read about what she said - No. Excuse.  None.

Sunny - heard the scuttlebutt about that fried chicken now diabetic woman.  I was on to her well before this wedding fiasco.  Something she said once stuck with me and I never forgot it...well I forgot what she actually said, but I didn't forget the opinion I formed about her. :)  Cancelled? Hadn't heard that.

Any clear MRI is a good one.  Congrats Mary!

Back to watch the news - used be a sign of improvement eve though onc suspects progression or no change. Next edition: xeloda and rads but I really am stronger. Still, interesting that the TAM proved a flop. Mood good, thanks goodness.

Wtching Bill Maher, though - get this: women in Saudi Arabia are now allowed to ride bikes for entertainment but NOT for transportation. Wonder what the Vatican thinks of that!

Athena - waving back at you.  Hoping for no progression, too.

Ah yes, Saudi Arabia.  That model of the Middle East, and our great ally  I guess as long as it's only women that are oppressed - who cares?  Question - when the women in Saudi Arabia are allowed to bike - are they allowed to wear shorts?  Pants?  Or do they have to do it in full veiling in the heat?  If so, doesn't sound all that entertaining to me.

    Love Bill Mahrer.
