    I just want to try to keep track of how many of us will be there and who will need accommodation.

    We all will have accommodation - I'll try to find a three bed apt for us if Jenn is staying, or we may have to get two two bed apts as there's quite a few of us - with a seperate room for Racy

    Kylie - you may be able to come for one of the days? 

    Anyone else?  Who have I missed?

    Trish, I thought Aly said she was coming as well........you may need to check on that as she will also need accommodation.

    Hello girls


    I've done some research, and the cheapest accommodation I can come up with is Oaks on Castlereagh.  For a 2 bed appartment with 4 people staying it's $676 for 2 nights.  That's $169 each! For 2 nights!  That's cheap!  Especially for Sydney.

    Based on the names we have so far, we would need 2x2 bed apts and a single room for Racy - Racy a 1 bed studio is $396 for 2 nights. Racy I did look at the Hyde Park Inn (I like it there too) but it was nearly $200 a night more expensive for the 2 bed appts.

    So - before I go ahead and book I need defenite numbers.

    The ones I know for sure are:
    Chrissy

    Mandy

    Kate

    Trish

    Aly

    Delvzy

    The one's I'm not 100% sure of are:
    Tammy

    Jenn (I know you'll be there, but do you want accomm?)

    Kylie?

    And I also need to know whether you are willing to share a room (ie the 2 bed appts will have 4 people staying, so twin beds in each bedroom) if not and you would like your privacy (and that's ok!) let me know so I can reconfigure.

    If we have more that come along after I book, we will probably be able to get more rooms, although the closer it gets to the dates it may be a bit harder, but I'm sure we'll come up with something :-)

    Trish, I will need accom. I don't like to drive at night with these cataracts. Plus I don't want to miss out on anything :-)

    Lol Jenn - I can remember the not driving at night with cataracts, it was a PIA.  But I know the main reason is you don't want to miss out on anything lol.

    If it works the same way it did last time, when I book I give them my credit card number, but they don't actually charge the card until check out.  Will let you know if it's any different.

    Kylie, don't stress about the money - I haven't actually booked yet, and as I said, if it's like last time they won't actually charge the credit card until we actually check in - which isn't until the end of November.  Plenty of time to save!

    Trish, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I live in Sydney but I would like to stay in town with everyone :-)



    My preference is for my own room in a 2 bedroom apartment...but if the numbers work out better for me to share a room or even to take my own room I'm flexible.... Thanks for doing all the research....



    I will probably drive into the city so if anyone else needs a lift then let me know....
