Can we have a list of the rooms and who are in them? Is anyone not coming now?
I may have a problem and am trying to sort it out...
Jenn -
Hi Jenn - hope it's not too big a problem?
We have a three bedroom appt with:
Chrissy
Mandy
Aly
Linda
Trish
A two bedder with:
Jenn
Tammy
Kylie will be there for the Sat night only, and now that Kate isn't coming she can have a spare bed in the three bedder.
And Racy has a room on her own.
Also - Jenn - you were going to suggest an alternative to Phillip's Foote closer to the hotel? We can catch a train from the hotel down to Circular Quay so the walk won't be so bad, but if you think that's not a great idea, we need an alternative suggestion.
Trish
xoxo -
Are we near Chinatown?
-
yes Kylie.
-
looking forward to it!
-
Oh boy! This time next week I will be packing and getting ready to head to the city! Woop woop!!!!!! -
One week to go!! -
The countdown has begun in earnest!! Woohoo!!!!!! Can't wait to catch up with everyone! -
Looking forward to it -
Yay, what time is everyone arriving?
Lynda, I'm on 8.55 QANTAS flight from Brisbane!
-
Trish, Mandy and I will be on Virgin flight VA413 arriving at 11.25am. -
Chrissy and Mandy, we may get there at about the same time!
-
lmao, we must all be on the same brainwave. Ive just booked my long term parking and am starting to get excited to see you all again. acy Im on Qantas 509 departing Brisbane 7.25 and arriving in Sydney at 10 (their time I guess). I think the bet thing I can do is wait an hour for you to arrive as I have no idea how to get around in Sydney. -
I think we've all been hanging for this get together, hence the excitement that is building! -
Definitely Chrissy, this time next week we'll be together - truly cant wait. -
Must admit that I'm getting a little antsy and the days can't go quick enough for me .....lol......I'm usually wingeing that the days go too fast and want them to slow down.....not this time! -
I'm sorry I haven't found a restaurant guys... Life has been very very stressful these past weeks. I am more than happy to go with Trish's suggestion down at The Rocks :-) And you guys might all spot something during that first afternoon on Friday (I can't make it in until early evening after work).
Jenn -
Unfortunately, I will be very late on a Friday night due to a work commitment. I am very much looking forward to meeting everyone -
Hey there you lot. I get in at 12.15 on Friday hopefully so wait for me.
Trish, where are we headed just in case I get delayed? -
I can't wait either :-)
So Linda gets in first at around 10, then it sounds like Racy, Chrissy and Mandy get in at 11.25 then Aly at 12.15.
I can't fit everyone in my car! I can take three at the very most and that might be a squeeze depending on how much luggage everyone has lol.
I think the best way for us to handle this is, I'll pick up Linda on my way past the airport into Sydney.
Racy, Chrissy and Mandy - if you guys share a cab, the cost won't be too much each, I'm not exactly sure how much a cab into the city is these days from the airport, but between three it won't be exorbitant.
Aly - the easiest thing for you to do is get the train from the airport into Central, by the time you get in we'll have had a chance to settle in and some of us can walk up to Central (not far away) and walk back with you. The one way fare for the train isn't very much either.
We are staying at the Oaks on Castlereagh. No-one can check in until I get there though.
I would offer to pick up some and come back and get more - but by the time I do that, you'll all be waiting at the airport forever, so I think that would be the best use of time.
I'll make a booking at Phillip's Foote for the Friday night for 7.00pm. Jenn will you be able to make it by then? Let me know and I'll book you in with us. If you are going to be later, do you have an idea of the time?
Tammy - I know you are thinking you'll get in around 9ish - and you have my mobile, so we'll be able to work out where is best for you to come.
Ok - is that all girls?
Trish
xoxo -
If we get to come back in another life, can I come back as Trish. I cannot believe how organised your thinking is mate. I for one am more than happy with your suggestions
-
Rather than do the cab thing, if it's okay with the other girls I think it would be better if we waited for Aly and all came on the train together. That way I can get to go to Crispy Creme for a donut and coffee........always thinking of the stomach.....lol......but the last time I had them was five years ago and I've been hanging for another taste! Then we can decide if we use a cab or train and Trish, I can call you and let you know which. -
I will definitely be there for dinner! Will likely get into town at 6ish. :-) -
We hope you'll be taking and posting pictures of the Sydney Get Together (or sending them)! More about what BCO hopes to see, at this post.
• The Mods -
Yes and the Big Girls Panties are going as well. SO lots of pictures coming up.
Thanks Chrissy, you know what I am like and you will have to buy me a donut. -
I agree with you Chrissy. I would prefer to wait for Aly and then head off together.I can't wait!!! xxx
-
I will see you all Saturday morning. Is it walking distance from Central station? What time will you be up and out Saturday?
-
Bound to be up pretty early Kylie, in Brisbane we were usually heading out for Brekkie around the 7 - 8am -
Kylie it is definitely walkable from Central. I'm not sure I will be ready for bfast at 7am - 8 sounds much more civilised ;-)
Jenn -
Are you guys interested in a high tea on Saturday or Sunday? This one has great views... http://www.theamericanclub.com.au/HIGH-TEA1/High-Tea-Menu.aspx
