anyone else?
-
Now I thought there were already some rooms booked by Trish?
Trish - can you confirm if we need to book or if youve already done it? I've definitely still got it in my calendar.
Jenn -
Oh yeah, me and Mandy too!
-
Hmmm.... yes I know - I still have to book them. Don't panic though, last year I left it to somewhere around this month and got an even cheaper room than I thought I would.
One thing I really need to know is if Kate is still coming - I'll text her to make sure, then we have to nail down the number of people in rooms. It's getting a little complicated as there are so many of us lol. But I'll work it out!

Ok - getting there!
Tammy wants to have a bedroom to herself if possible - anyone else specifically want this?
I can put Chrissy, Mandy, Ally and someone else into a 2 bed apt if they are all happy to share a bedroom (2 people per bedroom)
I can put Kate, Linda, me and someone else into a second 2 bed apt.
Jenn and Delvzy - are you guys happy to share a bedroom with someone, or would you like your own bedroom in a 2 bed apt?
Kylie - how are you placed? Do you want accomm?
Trishxoxo
-
Just put me anywhere I don't mind as long as its not two to a bed!!!
-
Lol Aly
No - definitely not two to a bed!!! We all get on so well, but not that well!
Still laughing at that :-)

Trish, I'm happy where ever you put me.......with Aly and Mandy is just fine and whoever the fourth is is okay with me.
Yup Aly, still giggling at your two to a bed.......lol
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
I'm ok with sharing but would prefer my own room - mostly because I still wake at about 4am every night and fire up my ipad. Also, my hubby tells me I snore terribly loudly...
Jenn -
Thanks for organising this Trish. I am happy to share a room wherever suits. Let me know how much and how please.
-
I have booked my room at Oaks, Castlereagh St for two nights from Friday.
LOL Alyson!
Looking forward to seeing y'all! -
Thanks for all your hard work Trish!
-
Ok - rooms are booked!
I've booked 3x 2 bedroom apts, so there is one 2 bedder that will have Jenn and Tammy, and the other two will have:
Chrissy, Ally, Mandy, Delvzy, Kate, Linda, Kylie and me.
There's an event on that weekend in Sydney (Stereophonic I think she said) so the rooms are $799 each per night. So Jenn and Tammy - you'll pay $799 each for the two nights. For the rest of us it's $400 each for the two nights. I hope that's ok with everyone? The bookings can still be changed, or cancelled up to 24 hours beforehand. It's not actually charged until we check out - so with regards to reimbursing me - if everyone could bring cash, and we'll pay the bulk of the bill in cash and the rest on my credit card.
For those of you who live in Sydney - car parking is available at $25 per night - let me know if you want me to book a car park for you.
I think that's all ... but let me know if you want to change anything.

Thanks Trish that's fine with me.
Love n hugs. Chrissy

Trish, thank you so much for organising. That sounds great to me. Looking forward to it.
Blessings

Hi trish can you give me the dates for the weekend I have read through the dates and can't seem to find them judy delves
-
Judy dates are Friday 29th November to Sunday 1st December.
-
Great....can you please remind me about the name and address of the hotel......
Re parking, unless people need me to pick them up in my car I will catch a bus to the city.... -
The hotel is Oaks on Castlereigh 317 Castlereigh Street
We'll try to organise picking people up from the airport a bit closer to the time, once everyone knows what time they are flying in etc.
I can pick up a few, so girls we'll need to remember to post flight numbers and arrival times a week or so beforehand. lol let's see who remembers, I'll need a reminder.
Trishxoxo
-
Thanks Trish for organising this. I will probably catch a train down, but will sort out details closer to the date. x
-
Delvzy has sent me a message, she's in the Gold Coast until early Dec, so won't be able to make it.
Anyone else want to come along?
Trishxoxo
-
Looks like I can redeem points and get free flights to and from sydney. Just need to get some idea as to what the best time to arrive and leave would be to fit in with airport pick ups. Are we all arriving early late etc, should we try to avoid peak hour in desparture and arrival cities? I know it wont matter as such, but Id rather not put anyone out so if I can arrive and leave around the same time as others, makes sense to me to do so.
-
Yay Linda :-) !!! So glad you are able to come down!
From my point of view, I can only carry three people in the car at a time, and I'll be driving up from Canberra, so not too early lol. I should be able to get to Sydney comfortably around 11.00am on the Friday. I would like to be home on the Sunday somewhere in the mid afternoon, so would need to leave Sydney in the morning. I think we have to check out by 10.00am anyway. I think I'm still taking Aly and Kate to Canberra with me, so will have one spot left in the car to take someone to the airport. It will take around half an hour (or so) to get from the hotel to the aiport.
Sydney airport actually has a pretty good rail link from the airport to the city as well, for anyone who wants to go down that route, it's not too expensive either.

Oh - and also, now that Delvzy isn't able to make it, and Kylie won't be able to get there until Saturday, I'm thinking it might be better for us to have a three bed apt rather than two two bed apts.
That will mean we'll have Chrissy, Aly, Mandy, Kate, Linda and me in a three bedder. Is everyone happy if I try to change that?
Kylie - it would mean you'd have to get just a room for the Sat night - would that be ok? I can book that for you if you are happy for me to do that - just let me know.

Trish I'm easy the three bed apt is fine. I think Mandy and my plane gets in about 11.30 am but we won't be leaving until 3 pm on the Sunday as our flight was changed by the airline. If its okay with Mandy, we will take the train on Sunday as we will be later leaving but Trish, still okay to pick us up?
Love n hugs. Chrissy -
Yes - will pick you up no problem Chrissy. I think the three bedder is the best option for us all, so will try to book that instead.
Trish

-
Good. I'm getting rather excited about the get together and seeing everyone again.......look out Sydney you are going to be invaded!!
-
Trish, do you know if there are two beds in each apartment?
Kylie, if there are two beds you could share with me on the Saturday night if you don't want the expense of a single room. I'll try not to snore too loud :-) -
Tammy, they will put single beds in if hats what we want.
I'll wait to hear from Kylie
Trish xoxo -
I looked at the piccies of the hotel, very very nice. I think we'll be spending lots of time on that verandah haha. I had to update my breast form a month or so ago and while I was at it, I bought a swim form and a swimsuit. Hope to try them both out when we get together. Think I'll need to lose about 5 kgs and a heap of inches off my thighs to look any good though
still for me its a huge step even thinking of wearing a swimsuit in public, so Imreally glad I went and bought it and the form.
For those who love their privacy and who are thinking of paying for a room to themselves, by all means do so if you wish, but I can assure you, from our wonderful time in Brisbane you will spend only the time your actually asleep in the bedroom. If you wake up early you can go into the lounge or balcony or wherever. it wont bother anyone unless you do so screaming at the top of your lungs (and to be frank cause we're having so much fun I doubt even that would wake us up lol)
