War is war and really isn't ever good. Besides the casualties, there are things like Agent Orange, PTSD and maimed solders. I heard a quote and have run across it several times...." War does not determine whose right, it determines whose left ".Sadly we will nver love enough to stop war.

E - I might have heard gabapetin takes awhile to take affect? Like after it accumulates in the body for awhile? I was like you....took it (for my neuropathy) and it didn't really solve any problem I had there.
Blue - your daughters are so beautiful. Italian? Pictures are stunning.
GG - I hope your move goes ok. Big changes for you equals stress. Maybe reframe it as an adventure. A good friend reminded me the other day, it's not the situation, it's how we react to the situation. Ofcourse, it is the situation, but if the advice helps? It helps me on the small stuff, atleast.
(I know, moving is not small.)On the Keystone pipeline...what bothers me more than anything is shipping oil across our country to be exported out of the country. Admittedly, this isn't something I have studied, but I think there are good economic arguments against it besides the environmental.
-
Lovely pictures, Blue - made for a wonderful runway show! You have lovely cubs.
Drones? The real problem is that they are OBAMA drones. BUSH drones are ok, folks.
Gun touters criticizing drones - hahahahahaha!
Seriously, the real scare to me are nuclear weapons. Modern war always takes civilians with it. If only there were an international convention to return to pre-Crimea War tactics - two sides on a battlefield, duking it out. But of course, asymmetrical/terrorism warfare alters the rules.
But remember - it's not drones they don't like. It's commie pinko ones.ETA: I am agnostic on the issue - I see things the way Lindasa does here. It's all awful. Hard to say which weapons an empire uses are worse. Agree with ((((E)))) - pain is a bloody pain.
E - ask your doctor about cyclobenzeprene. Also, those Medicare monsters do pay for acupuncture, I believe. Apologies if you have already tried both.

As I understood it, the filibuster question was something about drones killing Americans on American soil and not in a war. There was no question about drones killing everyone else. There was no question about the number of Americans (anything over 0 is too many to me) being executed by the state via the legal system. Those issues were accepted as OK. To me it sounded very much like "I don't like this President, don't trust him and I want his word he won't have a drone kill me or my ilk".

Lassie, looking for my "like" button on your post.
-
Blue - just saw the question - rofl!!
-
Our central mall in the city is in lockdown mode - the cops have a gunman surrounded - so much for safe Australia.
-
All over, they wounded him. Now I can go and have lunch outside.
-
E - I just tried gabapentin(sp) for the second time - first time was four years ago - it didn't work last time and this time it damn near killed me - laid me out on the couch for almost a month - PCP has put it in my "allergy" file - DH was on it for a while back in '08 - didn't work for him either but he slept about 20 out of every 24 hours - PCP tells me it works "like a miracle for some and does nothing for others".....

Thanks for the words of warning, Sandy!
I have treatment today and I've decided to ask for decadron. My rad onc gave it to me during rads and it took away ALL the pain. I was a new woman! I know I can't take it long-term, but jeez I need some relief.
-
E, treatmemt? What you on? I CRS!

Blue -
Faslodex and Zometa. It's a double whammy today!
-
Major hugs coming your way!
-
Suzie, glad the crisis is over! Crazies are everywhere, but in the U.S.of A. we make it a lot easier for them to rum amok.

-
Lassie...you said it all
Suzie glad things are calmed down for you. Yorkie is right.....we even let our crazies have grat automatic weapons. We are so terribly fair......TERRIBLY.

-
Hugs, E. Damned cancer.
-
Good luck today, Enjoyful! Hoping the decadron gives you relief.
-
My hopes and thoughts for a pain free day and good drugs going your way E
-
E, hoping you have a pain free day! (((HUGS)))
-
E - is the pain from the Zometa? I saw the SE of bone pain - Claritan?? Seems like Clairtan is used a lot for this, but I'm guessing in the dark about something I know nothing about. I hope you can find some relief soon. xxo
-
Happy International Women's Day! We've come a long way baby!

-
Kam....a lot of people I know used Claritin.....not sure it was Zometa they were using it for, but think it was for the Nuelasta shots. I used fast-acting Tyelenol for my Neupogin shots which I gave to myself but from what I understand the Nuelasta se's were much worse as seems to be the case with Zometa. Probably wouldn't hurt to try it.
Wishing you get lots of relief E.
