Hi gals I tried to get on before but my comp. was acting like an arrogant bitch--so I turned it off.
But---
dork I was hoping by now u would have gotten back to tell us about u'r dad and mom--everything better be fine.
Kat I'm glad u'r DH is better, but that walk must have tired him somewhat--so let him rest. But it sounds great--u'r having a wonderful time with him and u'r GD--Can't get much better.
Julie-awwwww--u'r poor boobies. What a terrible time for u.
I' watching the Grammys --I finall saw who John Meyer is if he's the same one that dated Taylor Swift. Wow if she didn't have so many break-ups she's never have any songs. She can not possibly ever get happily married, her career will be over. I never watch this stuff. ????
I'm having a crappy day--literally not figuretively.
Cyn I'm glad u'r home safely and I guess u'r back to work--u better not get into the path of this other storm that's going south.
I am enjoying the fashion--but I don't know any of the groups unless they've been around forever. So the forever ones I know I'll probably change it soon, but they sure put on a grat stage act.

sorry girls, I went to visit my mom and came home to make dinner, forgot to tell you that all is well. my dad was with my mom all morning and afternoon. we left and my sister came. i was watching tv with my dad and now going to bed. I slugged four or five or six quick dwinks.
NM, well we all know here that Maine is a great place to live and will boycott de weather people on your behalf. ha, dat'll teach dem to ignore you and your people!
cheerS!
-
WHEW, glad your daddy is A-OK! AND that you snuck in a few dwinkies!!!
Why are you having a crappy day, Cami?? Thats not allowed! I'm watching the grammy's too....know most of them, and like the songs. BUT my g'dau is sleeping in the upstairs loft in this condo AND she can look thru the wood railings and see the tv....so I had to be strict and get her to go to sleep. Not sure her mommy would want her to hear those songs or see those outfits! She is loving having the upstairs...there is also a 3'wide or so walkway up there to a little outside balcony (goes above the LR/DR), SO there are railings on ea side, and she can spy on us down in the LR and DR from either side of that railing, plus from the bedroom area. Geez that sounds funcusing to read, but just tryin to say she has LOTS of railings to spy at us down below! LOL.
Glad that Dotty's daddy is safely back at Dotty's house and hope he does ok tomorrow, while you are at work. I am guessing every day he will leave early and stay with your mom?
NIghtcaps for all!
-
Dork good, good, good--Now u need to rest that puka and get ready for the week
Oh I'm ok Kat just the big D that's all----
U'r GD sounds like she is really enjoying herself--don't u love it. U R good keeping her away from things her Mom might not approve of--I never thought of doing that--I'm terrible. But that is a good idea.
-

Good morning, Loungettes! A bit nippy out this ayem, minus 7 on my back deck. Brrrrr…..
Wahine--Next time you're watching TWC check out where the person stands, or where the graphics are--usuallly right over Maine! We almost never get mentioned, either. But, that's ok. The hike sounds like fun, until the trip back, that is. Sounds like grand-DD is having a blast!
Cammy--hope the crappy day got better for you.
DorKable--Glad to hear your Dad was OK! And thanks for the vote of confidence, greatly appreciated!
Wahine--sounds like the grand-DD has got it made at the Condo--her own suite, with entertainment!
DorKable--Good news about your Mom! Make sure the staff know your Dad is diabetic, they'll look out for him while he visits.

Good Morning all---
NM I think u'r right--u were on the board cuz u rivaled the other states with the amount of snow but I was paying attention and they didn't show any pics of Maine, but did show pics of every other state around and people on live reporting from that state. OK Fess up what does the country have against Maine--what did u guys do?
I hope no one was involved with all this Tornado stuff going around toward the South, Geeze Feb. is really knocking people out. We're supposed to get snow today but lots of wind--doubt if there will be much snow they're not calling for loads so it will probbly be a dusting of 12 inches, who knows.'m so weird I love snow and rain and really not thrilled with sunny days, So I would not be good in a sunny area depressing to me.
I watched the whole Grammys and mostly enjoyed it--One thing I wished Joey could have stayed awake to tell me who everyone was and the words to some of the songs. I really never heard of most of these people so I couldn't enjoy it fully. But I like LLCoolJ? and I liked the idea they were going to start giving teacher awards next year for all their work, finally they are acknowledging the people who train and work with the young ones. And I enjoyed all the fashion I love to watch that stuff. Basicslly except for a few they all did a good fashion show, they picked pretty stuff to wear and nice colors.
I didn't see my Katie-Kat much last night but as soon as I turned off the lites she came to me and was hugging me so much I didn't know if she was sad or not feeling well--so we talked (yes talked) for about 15 mins. and she watched every word I said. I hope she's all right.

Orange, oh too funny.
Well u just explained the whole reason why they ignore Maine. It is just assumed that S. King thought of all these cray things while he was in Maine and they figure the whole state is full of crazy thing happening, where crazy people live. ah the mystery of Maine.
We have no snow --it's all gone--we had about 2 in/ on the ground yesterday and this morning poof--oh oh crazy ILL now.
Orange tomorrow is fill day--I really don't know what that entails but I hope it goes well.
-
ok maine is s king territory, so thats why they ignore it,good thinking cammi, good luck with the fill tomorrow lara, just came back from the gyn - inactive endometrium so its all age related but he thinks yearly biopsy would be a good thing while on tamoxifen, can i take a pass on that one. dorty so glad your dad and mum are together even if just in the day.

Haven't had a chance to read, I got up late and was doing some "research" on our RakuLynda. I'm affraid it is bad news, as our sweet Raku passed away on Feb. 4th. There is an online guest book, but that is all I could find.
Just so sad. Lynda you will be missed love. May you rest in peace.

Dear Lynda, I am SO saddened to hear of your passing. If it weren't for Lori, we wouldn't even have known. You were a bright light, here on earth, and also in the HTL. I am glad you joined us here in the lounge, as I feel blessed to have known you. Your beautiful soul, so talented, humble, giving, caring. I miss you so much, and it really breaks my heart. I hope you know how much we all cared about you, and love you. I treasure the necklace/earrings you gave me, that you had made. Like the others said, you are now a shining star in the sky, like a bright diamond, looking down on us. I can picture you in the heavenly bar, having a drink with Junie, and others who have passed. This disease is so awful, it takes the best of the best, and you were definately one of the best. Lots of love and prayers go out to your family. Bless you Lynda, and, like Lori said...FURB!

Cyn, 3 weeks will come and go so quickly! How is Reese?
Julie, glad you are ok, but gheesh!
NM, we are getting more snow too, but I’m sure nothing like what you have gotten. Our normal planting time here is Memorial Day, but with the plant protectors, we planted in MARCH last year. But I know you have that muddy season to deal with and we do have lots of sunshine. That Monday Morning really looks yummy.
Loving being on your vacay with you Kathy, it’s so beautiful! Thank you for taking us with you. And of course your GD is having a grand time. Tomorrow is the big day! Good luck with that.
Oh Dorothy, that is great advice from NM to let the staff know that your dad is diabetic. Would have never thought of that. I hope today is a happy day for everyone.
LOL Cami, wanting Maine to fess up. You so so funny. I hope you have a D-less day today. I LOVE the sunshine!
Lara, good luck with that fill tomorrow. Make sure they don’t put too much in, we don’t want you losing these TE’s too.
Sue, it’s snowing as we speak! I plant in those little 6 packs, keep them in the house for the most part, until it’s time to plant. If we have sun, I can take them out to the Shady Lady, for warmth and sunshine. Won’t actually put outside until end of March. The turnips I have are for turnip greens. Meese luvs greens. My MIL loves turnips, and will just eat them raw.
Kathy your words to and about Lynda are perfect, OMG so so sweet, and I couldn’t say anything nicer or better, so will just ditto what you said and AMEN and BARMEN.
Lynda, we love you and will miss you. Have a drink with Junie please, you will love her. So sad, just brings tears to my eyes. Cami, I don’t know where all she posted, if she had a few favorite forums or not. I will try to look when I have time.
-
So sad to hear about Lynda. I feel so blessed to have known her for even the short time that I did and I will always treasure the earings and the necklace that she made for me. She was such a sweet caring soul. She is in Gods hands now and with the awesome company of those who went before her.
FURB!!!

What is FURB please?
What a nice remberance to have from her. I have a Christmas ornament that Marybe made and it makes me smile when I put it on the tree and when I put it away. Right now too. (c:

Adey, you can figure the FU no?
RB is Rat Bastard, or BasTURD.
So F U Rat Bastard.

Lori, right after you told us that she had passed, I also searched and found a Stage IV thread she had posted on, so told those ladies. Found another one but her post was a few pages back, as they were having another loss to deal with, so lots of posts about that. But how about if you start a new thread and just let the others know what happened? There may have been others she had pm'd or something, that may not know. Funny how we all thought of searching for her prior posts and letting them know. Well, not funny, but you know what I mean.
Adey, I think that is so special that you have an ornament from MaryBe. I emailed and pm'd her a few times, what a lovely lady she was. I was supposed to meet her at the cabin she was hosting the get-together at, when Chrissy was coming to visit from Australia. BUT I was going to fly and visit with Junie first, then we were both going to drive there. Then Junie suddenly passed away, so I didn't have the heart to go and meet everyone. I wish I had been able to though, as I would have met MaryBe, and also Chrissy from OZ, as I don't know when she will get to plan another long trip to the US. Were you at that get-together, or a different one, when you met MaryBe?
Big Hug for all you Loungettes....its just so sad. Matches the gloomy, rainy day here in GA. Of course, when the rain started last night, my DH couldn't resist singing "Its a Rainy Night in Georgia". He has been in bed sick all day today....guess being out in the cold wind yesterday and the hike, was too much for him since he had been in bed sick, up till yesterday.

I am deeply saddened by the news of our dear Lynda's passing. May she Rest peacefully now that she is in God's hands. I am praying for her family and her friends including all of her fellow loungettes. She was a beautiful person with a heart of gold. I shall forever cherish the beautiful jewelry that she made for me. (((group hug)))
