Did you get any results yesterday, 3jays?

Thank you for posting that link. I enjoyed looking at the artwork as the song was playing.

Yes, Mary Did You Know is a fav of mine too. And do you all know "Breath of Heaven" ?
I have traveled
Many moonless night
Cold and Weary
With a babe inside
And I wonder
What I've done
Holy Father
You have come
Chosen me now
To carry your son
I am waiting
in a silent prayer
I am frightened
by the load i bear
In a world as cold as stone
Must I walk this path alone
Be with me now
Be with me now
[chorus:]
-----------------------------------
Breath of Heaven
Hold me together
Be forever near me
Breath of Heaven
Breath of Heaven
Lighten my darkness
Pour over me, your holyness
For your holy Breath of Heaven
-----------------------------------
Do you wonder
As you watch my face
If a wiser one, should of had my place
But I offer-all I am
For the mercy-of your plan
Help me be strong
Help me be
Help me -
Joni...I didn't hear this one before. Googled it here is the link. Is it the right one?
-
yes Sheila that's it
-
thanks, sheila, and joni that was really pretty..
yes, i got some answers yesterday; but "in the shadows" kinda.. i dDON'T have the antibodies, so I don't have subacute thyroiditis.. but, he's not convinced that the ms isn't attacking the thyroid, and we just don't have a way to measre it, in this day...
so, he dxed "a typical " thyroiditis: and is continuing the thyroid T4; and adding light prednisone, as well.. covering BOTH bases... we'll not know which works.. he had a good point, though.. ive never had TSH levels drawn bf this, so we don't REALLY know what "myy magic tsh # is" but, when im a symptomatic, we'll know i've hit it!!so far, im getting sicker the lower it gors, and that isn't right, or fair!!!he said i may have to go down to 1; and then we'll see. if i get there, and im not better, we have to have another whole workup.. he scared me a little, wants MUGA test again.. he's afraid my heart is weakening, its taking so long to stabilize.. i put it off till after the holidays, as i have no symptoms.. im just asking God to heal me: anyway He needs to..... thanks for the prayers...3jays

Hi ladies, I' haven't been here of late due to wrestling with other breast cancer questions...trying to decide on a uni or blmx. I have peace about a uni although my breast surgeon wants me to do a blmx. I did have a PET scan...it's clean...PTL. I have a huge support group of praying friends. I believe it's the prayer that is keeping the HER 2+++ from spreading elsewhere in mybody. Next Tuesday, I'm have a uni mx unless my surgeon surprises me...hope not.
Appreciate your prayers as I prepare for surgery. It's a big deal to lose a breast. But, will be happy that sick breast will no longer be producing cancer cells. After surgery, recovery I want to move on from thinking about cancer and health so much. I have a few big projects I'm working on during the break....
I hope you all have a lovely Christmas. I've a little more shopping to do before I can put my feet up and relax. Praying all of you will have a healthy new year!

Eve, once my breasts produced cancer, I no longer thought of them as lovingly as I had for the previous (then) 50 years! So it's not as hard as you think it may be to lose them both. With one breast you'll have to get recon or wear a foob. With my 2 breasts off I haven't worn a bra in over 3 years!
-
correction...the PET scan showed cancer in the now infected breast only. Other than that it doesn't seem presently the cancer has spread beyond the breast...which is a miracle in 3 months since biopsy with idc.
-
eve, ER+ breast cancer grows VERY slowly compared to ER-. When you get the tumour out, they will re-stage and grade you as that can change once the lump is in the jar.
-
JO!!!! How wonderful to see you!! I've missed your posts, I got a lot out of reading them and you brought peace to my soul many, many times. I hope you are in a good space!
With love,
-
I attended a christian Christmas program last night and they sang Mary did you know, it was so beautiful. I removed my picture, because it makes me paranoid to leave it up forever.
Have you all heard the song "Fly me to Jesus" they sang that too and it was extremely moving, I had never heard it before.
Merry Christmas everyone!
-

Merry Christmas Ladies I hope your weekend if full of family, grandchildren and much love.
((Lord pls keep us all safe))

-
Amen, Mum!!!
-
Amen
-
Barb, perhaps...but the 2 Cem biopsy was also HER2+++ and high proliferation rate...meaning if it was still in me it probably would be moving fast...don't you think? What is left is only .5 Cem...not much to test.
-
spent three hrs on you tube, after ill fly to jesus last night.. i DID get "in the garden by willie nelson for my playlist, and bunches of old hymns,, i prayed for all of you on this thread, hearing all the old songs... hope all is on scheduale for all of you... 3jays

Merry Christmas Eve to all!
Think of Mary, so many years ago, traveling away from her family and suddenly becoming aware that she was in labor! Wouldn't it be interesting if Mary had written a journal of all she was going through? Instead she kept these things and pondered them in her heart.
-
Hmmm, maybe that's the epic story I am meant to write??? I've always wanted to write a great classic!!
-
Oh barbe I'm supposed to write epic novels too, but I need to actually put words down instead of imagining the movie in my head! LOL A story from Mary's perspective would be an interesting novelization!
-
Hello All, I've been lurking on this thread for a bit. I was dx on Dec 8th, IDC Grade 2, just had a lump and SNB on Thursday. Starting to feel like myself again since the "procedure". My kids are cooking Christmas eve dinner. Mac and cheese. So re your conversation about Mary's perspective, I have been listening to a CD by Amy Grant. One of the songs is called Breath of Heaven(Mary's song) and it has been ministering to me in such a profound way. "Breath of Heaven, breathe on me, hold me together." There is so much I have to be grateful for, and I know God has not forsaken me now. He is probably carrying me. I am comforted to know that I am not alone in this journey.
-
I come to the garden, but just to lurk lately. I don't always know what to say, but I've been dealing with this bc thing again. Had to have my remaining breast removed three weeks ago. I'm healing nicely....praise the Lord. Just wanting to wish you all a Merry Christmas. May peace, strength and hope be with you all. Jean
