3jays, remember, it is LETTING GO - open your hand and let it drop. Not pushing back which takes up energy. Once you let go you will feel a tremendous relief!!! God will fill in the blanks for you.
-
kc that is GREAT that you are loving your new job!! What a relief eh? What are you doing now, Mother Hen...,.ehhheehhehee (I'm usually the oldest in my group too)
-
ThreeJay's, I will be keeping you in my prayers as this Thanksgiving we went through family drama, and I too had to just take deep breaths and move on...
KCL, I am so happy that you are liking your new job. I too wondered the other day how did I become the oldest nurse on the floor especially since I am only 25 (in my mind!)
I had to find a new oncologist here in Omaha, I see her on the 22nd, I am having all kinds of SE all of a sudden from I believe my Arimidex which I have been on for 31/2 years now. Hope thats all it is

Holding all of you wonderful ladies in the light,
Linda

Hi all,
Was invited to be a date for an old friend of mine whose husband was unable to go with her to her Christmas party. We had a blast! At the country club (oooolala) so the food was good; best part was a husband of one of my friend's co-worker got up 1st to do karioke & he ROCKED the house with G-L-O-R-I-A! no one could even begin to follow. Plus on the white elephant game I got a Snugi!!!!! DD is snugged in it as we speak. Nice night!

ok, we may here something thursday. blood labs for tommorrow. got some weird antibodies last week...
they're thinking sub acute thyroiditis: here's the rub: if it is, it would make sense.. auto immune disease, which w/ corrolate with ms.. caused from some chemicals in taxotere, and does not respond to thyroid meds... txed with steroids, just as ms is... well see, sure would be wonderful to find, and tx the right conditon... keep praying, Ladies, I know He has me in His hands.....3jays

Counting down the days with you, 3jays.
Having my BW done for a bunch of stuff today. Thyroid, potassium, and I can't remember what else. I have my GP stymied with my "skin pain" She said she's only had one other patient who called in with the same symptoms andn she sent her to the ER. ER said it was an allergic reaction. I think I'll try Benadryl next time. For the breast pain, she suggests a reaction to caffeine or too much salt. I know they sound like wacky ideas, but I thought I'd look into it more. I hate to even mention these symptoms to anyone because I don't want to appear to be a hypochondriac.
-
B9!! My thyroid nodule is benign. I'll still have to get it out, but I really feel I've dodged a huge bullet.
Meece, I don't recall you mentioning skin pain before!!! That is how my Fibromyalgia started!! It hurt to even have a sheet on my legs!! Also, have you been checked for LE...that's also how mine started. It hurt to touch a small area on my back. Turned out to be where the LE started. Tell me more about the pain.....
-
-
Linda what a beautiful child and a super picture of both of you!
3jays I am praying and will continue to do so!
Barbe ~ YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Rejoicing with you and doing the happy dance for the b9 results! That is awesome!
Meece ~ feel free to tell us your concerns, we won't think you are a hypochondriac. But I definitely know what you mean... my sis is a dr and I don't even share my concerns with her because I don't want to appear to be a hypochondriac.
Hugs to all!
-
Meece, both the FM, and LE presents with skin pain, as well as thryoid, so please, don't let them make you feel like you're a hypochondriac.. remeber, MOST of uus found our own bc!!! keep cking it all out.. maybe, get your TSH level cked, and your vit d; when yu have bloodwork, i remeber you saying how tired you've been feeling...
im praying, and feel a little hope, that they may have found an answer for whats' wrong THIS time.. all my drs. think i make this up, except one; and he's the one who thinks i have sub acute thyroiditis.. the good new is, if it is, its' txed with low dose steroids. that'll put my ms back into remission, too.. life would be good agsin..
ive been talking to the Great Physician, and i think he "nudged" this dr.. im praying for a little "nudge" to yours, too, Meecie!!hahaha
and, im so happy for your b9 Barbe.. with an auto immune already, the thryoid is something that can act up from time to time, i've found out....happy dance 4 you!!!!3jays like my new avatar?? three little gingerbread boys! Elimar loaned it tome for the season! i love it!!!!
-
Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Great news, Barbe! What a relief!
Linda, Sam looks so content and relaxed in your lap. What a cutie! And Sam is adorable, too!
Thank you ladies for our concerns. I researched the caffeine and salt thing a bit, and it appears that both cause lumpiness or fluid rentention that can be bilateral or unilateral. My issue isn't the lumpiness, but it is a burning, stinging, and itching inside one breast.
The skin pain is from my waist to my shoulders and having my bra touch it drives me up the wall. I can press my skin over my ribcage and the tissue hurts like it is bruised down to the bone. The pain is also one or two days at a time. Today, I don't feel either issue. But it comes and goes. I was trying to pin down whether I was stressed at the time or something. Nothing I can think of though.
3jays, your avatar is very cute! I pray your answers will come tomorrow.
-
Barbe, so glad your biopsy was B9! Hope this finds you feeling better today.
Meece, those pains that are transient are so darn annoying and so very hard to pin down, I am praying that they all just disappear as mysteriously as they appeared.
3Jays, I love your new avatar, I have a big hanging gingerman on my door!
KCL, thanks for the compliment, he is my sunshine everyday..Hope all is going well for you!
Linda
PS, sorry the picture is so big I have to learn how to manipulate pictures once I have copied!!
-
Keep the picture big OG, it helps us to see you two better!! Beautiful pic!!
Meece, please conisder both LE and Fibromyalgia. I pray to GOD that you don't have FM. FM is more debilitating than my cancer ever was! Also, have you been checked for shingles?????
-
OG-toooo cute & your grandson is darling too!
Meece-did you say you had done the Benadryl route when the skin pain hits?
Yay Barbe! Get that thing out & start feeling better (I'm sure of it)
I need reminders daily of what this season is about as it's so easy to get caught up in the hub-bub! I don't know that I ever heard the other verse before but I love the words.
O Holy Night! The stars are brightly shining, It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining. Till He appeared and the Soul felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices, For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, the night when Christ was born; O night, O Holy Night , O night divine! O night, O Holy Night , O night divine!Truly He taught us to love one another, His law is love and His gospel is peace.
Chains he shall break, for the slave is our brother. And in his name all oppression shall cease. Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we, With all our hearts we praise His holy name. Christ is the Lord! Then ever, ever praise we, His power and glory ever more proclaim! His power and glory ever more proclaim -
Haven't tried Benedryl yet. I have been reasonably without symptoms this week.
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs I hear now and then on the radio:
Song: Mary, Did You KnowMary, did you know
That your baby boy will one day walk on water?
Did you know
That your baby boy will save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
That your baby boy has come to make you new?
This child that you've delivered
Will soon deliver youMary, did you know
That your baby boy will give sight to a blind man?
Did you know
That your baby boy will calm a storm with His hand?
Did you know
That your baby boy has walked where angels trod?
And when you kiss your little boy
You've kissed the face of GodMary, did you know?
The blind will see
The deaf will hear
And the dead will live again
The lame will leap
The dumb will speak
The praises of the LambMary, did you know
That your baby boy is Lord of all creation?
Did you know
That your baby boy will one day rules the nations?
Did you know
That your baby boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
This sleeping child you're holding
Is the Great I Am -
